Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
Teachers can be called the backbone of SchoolRP as they embody the basic concept and theme of the server. Teachers usually turn out to be the first contacts that newbies and students have on the server. Hence, teachers are vital in creating a positive impression of the roleplaying on the server. Due to the assistance of teachers, it becomes easier for newcomers to understand how things work.

Apart from being useful for newbies, teachers are quite helpful in terms of maintaining an interesting atmosphere on the server. By creating interesting, interactive classes, teachers attract participation of students and stimulate their character development, making the roleplaying more realistic and exciting. In many aspects, teachers help to recreate the atmosphere of school.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?:
Yes, I do agree that not being active may lead to losing the role. I know that being a teacher means being responsible and that being active helps in supporting the students as well as making the roleplay interesting. I will take care of remaining active in my role and in case I am not able to be active for some time, I will let you know about it.

Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?:
Yes, I am ready for teacher training in case I am accepted into the program. I realise that the training is critical in order to enable me to learn how to conduct myself in this role and meet the requirements of the server. I will do my best the enhance my performance as a teacher.

What is your motivation for becoming a Teacher?:
The main reason why I would like to become a teacher on SchoolRP is because I want to get into the same position where I got the help in mastering the art of roleplaying. Having spent much time playing as a student, I feel confident enough to move into a new and more responsible role and do something different. I am attracted by the new challenges that will be connected to this position aswell as by the need to combine leadership and creativity in it.

In addition, being a teacher would open up a whole new set of possibilites regarding creating interesting and exciting roleplays. This role would allow me to see the server differently, not only as a player, but as a person who creates an environment for others. Apart from this, getting the teacher position would help me evolve as a character and make it possible to write his story in a broader sense, aswell as start a family ICly.

Describe your character:
Enzo is a middle-aged man who is half Japanese and half Korean, and has a demeanor that is serene and commanding. He is of medium heigh and always has a neat appearance in terms of personal hygiene. He has short, well-******* black hair with a very well defined face that naturally gives him a polished appearnece. What stands out about him is his green coloured eyes that always have an impact on people who come across him.

When it comes to his character, Enzo has been described as patient and rational. He always thinks things through rationally without getting carried away by emotions. Although he is a patient and rational in nature, he can be strict and disciplinarian whenever the need arises.

In addition, outside of work, Enzo is a family-oriented man. Enzo is happily married to his wife, Katniss, and has two sons whom he is very proud of. The calm and quiet moments spent with his family, be it sipping tea together or going for a walk in the parks of Karakura, are very important for him and give him stability and support.

Literature and history have always been the interest of Enzo and now he wants to combine his interest and work. His mission is to become a good teacher of history, to make this subject more attractive for students. In his opinion, the history and literature should not be boring. On the contrary, it can be a source of joy and fun in learning.

Roleplay Scenarios

A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:

In helping a struggling student, Enzo will emply his characteristic calmness and patience to ensure that he does not put the student on the spot nor embarrass them. He knows that every learner has their own mode of learning and thus, he will begin his explanation by breaking the concept into smaller pieces and providing an explanation at the student's desk.

If the explanation seems to confuse the student, Enzo will change his way of explaining but not repeat it in the same way. He may choose to use some pictures or create a simple timeline to ensure that the student gets what is being explained. In addition, he may try to bring about a relation between the concepts and things that the student already understands to make the subject easy for them to learn.

While doing so, he will keep encouraging the student until he or she is confident enough and feels like asking any question in class without fear. To Enzo it is important that his students feel comfortable asking when they don't understand. Hence more students may not understand the concept either, and then he will know he needs to approach his teaching from a different angle.

A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:

Rather than shouting at them, or demanding that the student keeps quiet, Enzo would handle this in a more controlled manner. He would pause his lecture for a brief moment, focus his attention on the disruptive student, and then give him a patient look. Then, he would gently but firmly tell him something along the lines of, 'I see you are full of energy today. Do you want to tell us your joke, or maybe help me explain the next part?' In this way, he would draw the attention of the disruptive student away from disturbing others in such an indirect way.

Placing the student under the spotlight without entering into a confrontation with them usually causes the student to become calm again. It also gives Enzo the chance to keep control of the class in a respectful manner.

However, should the student not react to this approach and keeps on behaving in this disruptive way, Enzo will not hesitate for a moment to escalate matters. He will take the liberty of warning him formally so that they know how intolerable such behavious is. However, when he does not mend his ways, then Enzo will not get flustered to take necessary steps against them. Such would follow the procedures of gently asking the student to leave his class, if the students disobeys the request, he will make sure to warn the student with a probable likelyhood of receving detention.

Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:

#1 History Quiz
The idea behind this method is the conversion of the lesson instructions into a game where there will be trivia questions about the curriculum in terms of historical facts. The students will then be put in teams, and the competition will help them actively engage in the lesson rather than simply reading passively. The method will make students stay engages and encourage healthy competition using some small incentives, all in a controlled setting.

#2 Historical Theatre (Drama Class Partnership)
The second approach is a multidisciplinary effort in History and Drama whereby the students perform as historical characters in an effort to re-enact historical incidents. Unlike regular class, the students adopt characters from history and re-enact debates, court trials or piece treaties as examples. This approach lets students grasp diverse views and motivations from different angles, such as the characters' angles themselves.

#3 Timeline Challenge
In this third case, students will be provided with a series of events, persons or even historical documents and will have to sort them out into their proper chronological order while working in one big group. It may be made even more interactive as clues or short descriptions of those could be used instead of their actual names. When they are sorted out, students can discuss why they places some events in certain places.
