What is your motivation to lead a club within the school? (250+ words)
Taking on a leadership role within a school club is an opportunity I value not only for personal growth but also for the chance to make a meaningful impact within my school community. My motivation to lead a club stems from a genuine desire to bring people together around a shared interest and help others grow, learn, and feel included.
Throughout my time in school, I’ve seen how clubs can foster a sense of belonging, ignite passions, and even inspire career paths. I want to be part of that process—not just as a participant, but as someone who creates a space where students feel encouraged to contribute and thrive. Leading a club means being organized, responsible, and proactive, and I’m excited to take on those challenges. I enjoy planning events, collaborating with others, and thinking creatively about how to make meetings engaging and meaningful.
Additionally, I believe leadership is about listening and being adaptable. I want to ensure that all voices are heard and that every member feels valued. By leading a club, I hope to develop these skills while also helping others discover their potential.
Ultimately, my goal is to help build a strong, active, and inclusive club where students feel motivated, supported, and inspired. Whether it's through organizing events, encouraging participation, or mentoring others, I’m ready to contribute in a way that leaves a lasting positive impression on the club and the school as a whole.

- When it comes to inactivity, it must be logged or you could face reprimand or possible termination in extreme cases, you are responsible for your own activity, your club's activity and your club's retention.
- Clubs must be student appropriate and easy to understand with a specific theme, this is to maximise student interest and remain realistic.
More information on what makes a good club theme can be seen here:

Hands-on medical skills: Set up stations where attendees can practice skills like taking blood pressure, using a stethoscope, or even a low-stakes "suturing" station using oranges or bananas.
Provide one flash event that your club may host:
Event details
- What: A short, 30–60 minute workshop where members can learn basic suturing techniques.
- Where: A common area on campus with plenty of space, such as a student union, atrium, or large classroom.
- When: Announce the event on short notice, perhaps 24–48 hours beforehand, via club communication channels (e.g., social media, email). The unexpected nature makes it a true "flash event."
- Materials: Partner with a local hospital, university lab, or medical school to acquire pig's feet or synthetic suturing pads, suture needles, and thread. Ensure members use proper personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves.
- Logistics:
- Find a medical student, physician, or faculty advisor to teach the workshop and provide supervision.
- The event can be structured as an open house where people can come and go, with the instructor offering guidance at different stations.
- No preparation is required for attendees—they just need to show up and be ready to learn.
Benefits
- Practical skills: Members gain direct, hands-on experience that is highly relevant to their future careers.
- Networking: The low-pressure, informal setting encourages conversation among members and with the medical professional leading the session.
- Engagement: A novel and exciting event like this can attract new members who are curious about the club.
- Added value: This type of skill-building activity gives students something tangible and memorable to show for their club participation.
Provide one club activity that your club might host
- Guest Speaker Series:
Invite doctors, nurses, researchers, and other healthcare professionals to share their experiences, career paths, and insights into the medical field.
Field Trips: Arrange visits to hospitals, clinics, research labs, or medical facilities to provide firsthand exposure to healthcare environments.
- organize sessions on practical skills such as basic medical procedures, CPR, or navigating the college admissions process for pre-med programs.
