[!] An email surfaced in your inbox, titled 'Gaming Club Application' from edwin@khscc,ne,jp. Inside was a file: gaming-app-final(FINAL)(1).docx.exe alongside a desperate plea to 'trust the process,' ignoring all safety guidelines set by IT you open it. A terminal flashes on your screen before closing, a IRC chatroom opening soon after with various channels listed. You move your mouse clicking on #introductions. [!]

What is your name?

What is your motivation to lead a club within the school? (250+ words)
Gaming club has existed a mere few months and now faces its most substantial hurdle yet, the lack of a club lead. Causing us to ponder, who will lead them into battle now? This club, the first I joined during my time in Karakura holds a precious place in my heart and I wish to not stand idly by and allow it to go without direction. Instead, to metaphorically pick up the controller, cause its gaming club? You get it. And push for the continuation of the club, allowing for future members to have similar experiences to my own. The triumphs and defeats, the epic highs and lows of Karakura's Gaming Club. This can simply not occur if the club is not kept at full health, good one right? Until the club is back on its feet the experiences I had, the whimsy and joy, the questionable decisions from mob mentality, can't occur for others. And this is a reality, among others, I simply can not accept!

While keeping the band together is a driving motivator so is the the temptation to build something of my own. With Gaming Club still in its infancy, a beta one could say, this allows plenty of room to build off what's been already poured into its foundation and add an additional layer of my own. With memories full of various events, meetings, and experiences from across the campus and beyond I can't help but imagine what I could bring to the table. But who talks about imagination in an application, not me that's for sure, with various aspirations bouncing around the noggin I can't help but strive to turn it into a reality. To form the Gaming Club into something beautiful, accepting and of course fun. We're here to play Games after all, and embrace anyone who wishes to participate.

Why choose you over other candidates applying for this position? (50+ words)
With the club in such a dire situation who best to fill this roll then one that has been with the club since its fruition, one that has stayed true and participated in the hijinks even under questionable circumstances and has made an effort to inform and recruit new members. In the same way a game needs both a console and players, a club requires a lead and its members. And given the commitment and history held by myself I truly believe I can guide the club through this hurdle, saving it from a permanent hiatus and allowing for the continuation of the club I care so deeply for.

However, simply being a present member of the club does not prove fitness for the role outright. Ambition is needed, ambition that I believe I can harness. Gaming Club is rolling in potential and throughout my membership to now I've contemplated various paths the club could take. Paths which I will outline further in this application, but for now I will mark it as a simple Edwin guarantee that if given the chance I will push club to greater heights. The next level one could say. By now you get the focus is Gaming, right?

Provide a small summary of your club (75 words)
Gaming club acts as a center for all of those with an interest in Gaming in some form or another, whether the digital games we've all come to expect from the term, to Table-top board games and D&D to even more traditional playground games. With such roots in the nerdy and geeky subcultures alike the club embraces values of acceptance and collaboration to build a safe haven for those traditionally unembraced by community.

Provide one school-wide event that your club may host
A new messaged appeared in the #club-announcement channel, did they wait for you to join to send it? Creepy.
<Edwin> School-wide Event Announcement: Bobcat Vs. Spartan Gaming Competition!
Embracing the competitive nature of students Gaming Club has setup a large variety of games and challenges for students to compete in, but it wouldn't be Karakura High without a good serving of rivalry. Face off against your rivals in 1v1 formatted games, choose to either go up against a random Bobcat/Spartan or pick out a specific student to challenge! Squash the beef here and now without fists but a controller! Not feeling rivalry? Try out the selection of solo games and attempt to set a high score before days end. But back to the competition, for added suspense Gaming Club has a active tally of wins across the event, watch and see whether your side will beat out the oppositions. In a grand reveal by the end of the day it will be announced whether Bobcats or Spartan's are victorious!

Provide one flash event that your club may host
You scroll, previous messages could be found in the #club-announcements channel. How organized, what leadership potential.
<Edwin> Flash Event Announcement: Achievement Hunt!
The Gaming club is offering a challenge to all students! Come to the club room and collect a log book before going across campus and completing various achievements. From discovering certain locations to performing specific tasks to whatever else the Gaming Club can cook up! However we can't simply believe the dubious student population. . . proof must be brought for each achievement, In the form of pictures or answers only realistically provided by having completed the achievement! This event will allow the competitive nature of students to flourish, however might as well support this with the lure of prizes for the first three competitors to finish!
Example Achievements:
  • Achievement, You work here?: Discover the Janitor closet.
Proof of Completion: Whose desk is present?
  • Achievement, School Spirit: Locate the College or Bobcat Mascot
Proof of Completion: How many stars do Bobcats or Spartans currently have?
  • Achievement, BFF's: Make a friend!
Proof of Completion: Provide the name and interest of a stranger.
  • Achievement, Meet the Faculty: Discover the school leadership
Proof of Completion: Provide the name of one High-school/College Leadership (SLT).
  • Achievement, Squeaky Clean: Clean a mirror.
Proof of Completion: Take a flick of a clean mirror. [OOC: DM proof of you're action.]

Provide one club activity that your club might host
<Edwin> Meeting Announcement: Containing Jerry the Slime!
The club-rooms mix of constant running server rack and PCs alongside a total lack of internal AC unit has seemingly caused the perfect microclimate to produce 'Jerry' a living green viscous substance. 'Jerry' has been observed growing over the span of the past few months and has reached the point that something MUST be done. Gaming club members are called upon to contain and rid Jerry from the club room using our combined, albeit little, PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS and of course TEAMWORK! Unless dire circumstances arise, the intended goal will be to contain Jerry and provide samples of it to Karakura Academy Science club. Come prepared to let our you're inner protagonist and crush contain Jerry the slime!
Meeting time: █:██ PM ██/██/██jerry-images.png

Potential Joint Club activity
<Edwin> Joint Meeting Announcement: Occult Club - Exploration into Polybius
Viewable in the back of the Occult Club is what seems to be a vintage, black and blue Arcade machine with the title card and design labeling it 'Polybius'. While this may bring general interest to retro enthusiasts why does the Occult Club seem to be holding onto it? Well, this may be due to the alleged anomalous effects derived from playing it! Spooky right? Any who- This meeting will involve a general exploration and discussion of the device and what we know alongside general rumors. NOTICE: Its imperative both Gaming and Occult club members do not attempt to use the device during this meeting, for the general safety of all involved.

Club Jackets
Why let the jocks have all the fun? You deserve a fun jacket as well! We'll look no further, Karakura's own Gaming Club has got you covered. Just- don't wear it during a heatwave, its very well insulated. Best worn indoors with the AC blasting!

Final Notes:
Some info strays away from the default application format! I attempted to keep it at the end but wanted to make it known for complete transparency. One such part being the addition of a mock Joint meeting with Occult club, I wanted to acknowledge that I discussed this with higher ups of the club beforehand and had it green lit to include the concept!
