﹐Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
◜I feel teachers are super important if not the most important faction on SRP, due to the server being circularized around the teacher and professor factions. Teachers are important due to the fact when you join the server one of the first things you do is attend class, Dealing with newer players is one of the most difficult things, and most time-consuming... Since they don't really know the rules all too well you might have to kick some out of the class, teach them a few things, or report some of the issues to staff. Teachers will need to know when to do certain things, Teachers will need to radio certain things, give out detentions to students, break up fights, and even plan ahead lectures, assignments, and classes ahead of time. Teachers are without a doubt one of the most important roles within SRP.◞

﹐What's your character's full name?:
Akage Kohaku | Age 48
﹐What is your character's nationality?:
Japanese
﹐What is your preferred subject to teach?:
English
﹐Describe your character:
・Small Backstory
◜Akage grew up in mid-west Tokyo, Japan, His father was a writer who wrote children's books and his mom passed away young. After years and years, Akage would read a lot on his own time. He would set off to college once he was 18, attempting to major in Creative Writing and Minor in World Literature. During most of his college days, he would often write short poems and keep to himself, or walk around the city and look at everything around him. Akage breezed through college and he stepped foot into his first class at 24 teaching at a Middle School in Tokyo, He would often help students in need, giving them extra help during break time and overall showing them new writing skills and spreading his influence. Around the age of 30, Akage would have his first set of children, and after that came many... many.. many more, where the hell did these kids come from why are there so many Kohakus??? (they are all gremlins) Time passed by and his kids wanted some space like most teens and they would move to Karakura at the age of 17 as a pack. After a year or so Akage missed all of them, and to be honest, all of them got into trouble at the school they went to, none of them went to class, they all fought and one even has a restraining order! He dropped into Karakura looking to get into the school and see what he could do while he keeps check on the kids. He overall loves teaching, He has been doing it for half of his life, and to teach what he loves to do is even greater to him.◞
・How does he look?
◜Akage was a 48-year-old fit male who stood at around 5'11. He had an assortment of tattoos that stretched from his right bicep down to his elbow and across his chest area, It had the birth-date of his children, who also attend the school as well. He also had a small tattoo on his right shoulder that covered over a scar from his past. Akage had deep black hair that was super well kept and almost seemed to be tinted blue in some shadings, along with his eyes being almost a grey-like blue color. Akage had a very low-toned voice, always seeming like he was either tired or didn't want to be there... But he wasn't tired and did want to be there!◞
・How does he act?
◜Akage is a very helpful and kind-hearted man, He always offers assistance. Within the school, he will be seen around the halls most of the time making sure people aren't getting into trouble or checking up on his very... mischievous kids. He acts very calm and he will most of the time keep to himself unless he is needed somewhere, He doesn't speak his mind too much and will most likely go along with the topic that is being placed around the circle and agree with it. I'd say he is a very genuine person, He keeps it real and will tell you the truth no matter if it affects you, He is very truthful and worthy of his craft.◞
・Future Plans?
◜Akage would like to settle down and retire when he turns 60, His wife passed away once his youngest was born so he isn't really looking for a love interest at the moment. He would like to become one of the most well-liked people within the school district, He wants to become an SLT member, so he could give his own input into certain scenarios when needed. Most importantly he would like to make sure his children have the best time in life, He will do anything he can to help them and he will bring that to his grave.◞
﹐What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
・Students
◜Students should see him as a person to go to when they need help, Though he can be a little bit hard on students and a little strict when it comes to certain topics. He does not condone violence, be he will offer help to people in need and he hopes he can motivate students to do better in life and give tons of advice. Akage knows students very well, after teaching for many years and even having multiple students of his own, He can cut some students a break at times, he knows things can be rough for them. One of Akages strong suits is being able to listen to students in a time of need, He knows how to understand certain scenarios and takes very well initiative and makes well on it.◞
・Co-Workers
◜Akage will be one of the most calm and collected co-workers, being nice and tidy within the break room, always chatting up to people, and being super welcoming to talk to, He can be seen deep in a book or deep in his own thoughts. He is seen as one of the calmest and collected staff members, always being there for workers. Akage will always show up to break up fights and respond to the radio quickly. He is also seen saying good morning to co-workers over the radio and checking up on them in the hallways. He hopes to put a smile on everyone's face or give them a small chuckle along with having some small talk and getting to know everyone. Akage likes to express some of his personal life to Co-Workers in the breakroom as well, as he finds it an easy conversation starter and easy to relate to people with when they have a similar teaching background.◞
◜Overall Akage has a high level of respect for his peers always taking in their opinions and keeping check on what they like and dislike so he can make them more comfortable around them. Though he is calm, He tends to speak up on a lot of things making sure he says the right opinion or speaks well on the matter.◞
﹐What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
Icly
◜Akage has taught for multiple years in other parts of Japan as an English Teacher, Though he has never taught in Karakura. He chose this spot due to his children moving here for the thrill. He just landed in this area and is looking for a job and hoping to inspire the next group of students he will teach, He hopes to bring joy to people and help them out in class. Akage is very passionate about reading and writing, Ever since he was a child he has been so invested in books and literature always having very good handwriting and a super high reading level. He would like his students to do great things in life, along with the people that surround him, Teaching is one of those things where can inspire, teach, and even learn from.◞
OOCly
◜Currently, I do more of JockRP than anything I also tend to lean on more roleplay scenarios like family events and family situations. I would personally love to jump into new types of roleplay. I have only played as a teen icly, and I feel adult would be a different matter too as well as figuring out more ways to roleplay besides the stuff I already know how to do. I have heard from some people that the school faction is a good place to start out and learn how to roleplay in factions, I heard it a lot easier than things like Reporter, KPD, and Lawyer which have different aspects to them that make them overall slightly more challenging when learning how to do things. I feel as if the school faction has a good player base around it and other faculty are learning as well since it is most likely their first faction too. There are many other factions but I feel I should start out here since it was recommended to me the most.◞

﹐A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
*Akage would Notice the student is having a hard time, he would walk up and say to them*
"Hey, are you having trouble understanding some of the content I am teaching?"
if the student replied with yes he would then reply with..
"Alright, I can lend you some help right now and if you understand it by the end of class then we are good, but if you don't understand it, and if you'd like tomorrow during study time we can meet up in the library and I can help you there too."
Akage would do his best to make sure the student understands the info, and even more, he will help the student exceed in the class and get better grades in the English class. Akage would like it if all his students do well, He will do everything in his power for all students to attend college one day and pursue their dreams.
A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
Depending on the scenario Akage would first speak out to the class saying,
"Whoever is saying the non-sense right now this is a Warning, I won't be saying names but you know who you are and you should stop now" *he would then glare at the students making the noise*
He would then give a small glare at the students doing so hopefully giving them a nudge in the right direction. If the students keep speaking out of line, Akage would speak out on the students, and start saying their names calling them out, and making sure they will not do it again. If they do not listen, Detention will be received, and all students will meet Akage in detention later.
﹐Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
I have a few extra ideas but overall these are the most unique ones, and I think they stand out more.
Guess the Story!
◜During this class, Akage will call up a student to the front, and one student will describe a very well-known story such as Harry Potter or The Great Gatsby without saying the name of said book, or characters from said book. It will be similar to Hang-Man, the students in the rest of the class get a set amount of guesses to guess the book, and the student describing the book will have to describe it more and more giving out more info about the book and what happens in it when the guessing class gets the book wrong.◞
Example
(The Great Gatsby)
'The story is about a very rich man in New York, Who tries to win his first love back!'
A person would have to guess the book name and every time they get it wrong they would have to give more hints or describe it more to the class.
1 Book and A Lie!
◜During this classroom activity, Akage will draw the name from a cup of sticks and the student that it lands on will call out another random student to describe a real book that is either unknown or known and will tell some wacky things that happened in it, and then tell a story about a fake book and make up some wacky things about it, and the other student would have to say which one is a real book and which one is a complete lie! The weirdest thing that happened in a book wins!◞
I think these two classes would be interesting, as I have seen one pulled off in a class when I was in high school and genuinely enjoyed it (I slept most of the class ngl besides this...) and participated. These are just the most unique ones I have at my disposal and I hope they have a nice appeal to them.
