How long have you been building?:
I have been building in Minecraft for roughly 10 years, yes, since just after the games release. I have been infatuated with building and creating magnificent structures, towns, and builds since I was little. Using it as a way to explore my creativity and Imagination.
What are your goals and aspirations for building and being on a team?:
Some of my goals and aspirations for being a part of the building team community, steams from a lot of my want to express my creativity among the server. I've always been more than happy decorating, or building unique and intricate structures, creating pretty landscapes and painting a masterpiece from my imagination into a physical representation in this game. I digress, to start, I'll go over some of my goals for being on the team. Firstly, I want to improve, I want the opportunity to learn new techniques, things I haven't explored, I want the chance to experiment more and more in a vastly larger scale. Being on the building team gives me this chance to obtain wisdom that in my years of building I haven't the idea to play with, or attempt to do, new and fresh ideas that I myself may not have even thought to come up with, to enlighten and produce more unique possibilities in my building experience. Secondly, I want the chance to become more familiarized in terraforming, I've always struggled when it comes to terraforming, and I've always wanted to get some insight on better ways to make it look a little bit more natural, or how to form it into a much more appeasing look, that draws attention to structures specifically, or creates distance and beauty in itself. I feel as though joining the building team could give me this opportunity to explore this with a team of people who are extremely talented in this field. Last, but not least, I want to grow my experience as a builder, create structures for a community that appreciates it's team, I want to learn new things, while also being given the opportunity to meet people alike, with similar creativity and desire for intricate detail and in-depth creation of builds.
So in summary of my previous paragraph on my goals and aspirations of becoming a builder, I mostly want to grow in experience, learn new and more detailed ways of creating beautiful structures. I want to join a community of people who are so similar, yet so unique that they compliment one another's build types fluidly. I aspire, to be great like this community, I want the chance to be apart of something magnificent as that. That is my aspirations and goals for being on the team.
What are your strong suits as a builder? (Interior, Structure, Organics, etc):
A few of my strong suits as a builder are as the following, I am extremely fluent in Interior design. I find it very appealing to add as much detail in as I possibly can, whilst also challenging to figure out what blocks compliment another, and experiment with these decorations to create something as realistic as ones own home, or room space. Adding detail in spaces where one may not think to add something, adding depth and texture to walls, floors, and ceilings that make a room tie itself together. Cozy decor that screams personality making each build feel inviting, and appealing to each player, giving them a new unique experience in each room, or build. I'm also very well-versed in making structures, such as monuments, or large scales replicas of people, or objects, I'm very good at creating houses that give off a very cozy and sound affect to them, that makes it seem visually realistic in the way it's supported or created, I like to add curves, and ridges to the sides, or, bends in the roof, and add small details and texture to the external structure. I feel it gives a very realistic experience, offering the player a more visually appealing perspective on their home. I'm also very talented when it comes to lawn decorations, pathways, tables, chairs, log piles, etc... I'm not great when it comes to creating intricate trees, or terraforming, but I am always open to attempting, I'm always open to learning new ways to do something, or opportunities to explore how to create something better. I always feel there is room for improvement, and always strive to improve on something, to figure out new ways to makes something look better, and look more natural, or detailed.
Do you understand building is a team effort and wont always be building by yourself?:
Yes, I understand and am completely okay being apart of a team build. I more than appreciate helping hands on a current project, I feel it is a great bonding experience to build with a group of people, allowing you to explore how to fluidly build along side other styles or blend into each ones process smoothly. I feel it is sometimes better to have a group of people working on one project rather than solo, because of the previous reasons. So yes, I am more than okay, and comprehend that we may build as a team in some instances.
What type of style does your builds consist of? Is there more then one? (Modern, Medieval, etc):
Some of my current building styles consist of a more rural home, or town-home, feel. Expressing of a cozy, warm interior and exterior, kind of clutter, but organized in a way that looks like you're walking into, home. Decorated by someone who has too much stuff, but displays it proudly, giving a very welcoming feeling as you walk through the door, or step up to it. Some other build types I love to explore are Medieval, I really love to create fantasy structures, villages, kingdoms, ect... it just peaks my really geeky interests. I love to explore new structure types, and it really allows me to explore new block compatibility, something that looks very magnificent, and rustic. Another current build type I'm really fond of is, what I believe is more widely known as, cabincore. Creating something with such a natural look appeases my love for nature. It allows me to work with block types that modern homes wouldn't really have in them, with a much wider verity for style and intricate creation. Whilst also staying to a natural experience, something you would have just resources around you in a forest.
