Describe your activity on the server:
I started playing SRP 3-4 months ago and I’ve loved playing ever since. I started off really into the plugin sports like volleyball and dodgeball, but I was craving something more than just sports on the server. To expand my variety of roleplay styles and also feeling more involved in the server. I gave GangRP a chance, and ended up taking it and running with it. GangRP is what got me into the whole roleplay aspect of SRP. I ended up becoming decently popular and gained a reputation in the roleplay community. Being in GangRP helped teach me how to DetailRP and become better with my words and actions, though I’ve played a short amount, I feel like my roleplay skills drastically increased from then to now. However, I’m still very active on SRP and I tend to be on at least once a day. The times usually fluctuate, but I am heavily active during the weekends, spending late nights on SRP.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

What position are you applying for?:

Governor

What is your motivation for applying?:
My motivation for applying is because I want to expand my roleplaying skills by involving myself in things that are out of my comfort zone to get a better grasp at other roleplay positions. GangRP is just a small part of SRP and there isn’t anything that I'm not used to doing there. Hopefully, being accepted for this faction would open my eyes to a new side of roleplay and it could be something that I would enjoy doing instead of rinse and repeating the same thing over and over again.

Do you have an understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights?:
I have a good understanding of Karakura’s laws and Constitutional rights. To keep my mind sharp, I will look over the laws and rights every once in a while

What are your goals for being in Government Faction?:
My goal for being in the Government faction is to make a good impression on the people in SRP. I also want to make roleplaying easy and enjoyable for everyone around me, as well as my peers. I also would like to experience what it feels like being in a faction and having an impactful role in the city, like officiating marriages, handing out ID's and all of the other perks of being a governor includes. However, I do realize that I will be a notable figure if I get accepted into this faction.

My goal for my character is to make Malakai’s hard work come to reality, as he has come so far with him studying for hours on end, reading all of the laws and rules of Karakura to work and become someone worthy of having such a meaningful role in the government.

In your own words, describe the different roles of the Government Faction:

[Governor]

A governor's role is supposed to act like the chief of their political party within the community like handing out peoples ID’s or officiating marriages as well as attending trials, surveying the public and approving adoption paperwork. A governor’s main focus is to make sure everything in their city runs smoothly and properly.

[Lawyer]
The role of being a lawyer is primarily being a representative of clients in protecting their freedom by making sure that their client’s rights are protected by the law and making sure there is fair treatment throughout all parties that are involved.

[Judge]
The role of being a judge is to interpret the law by resolving disputes over legal proceedings like attending trials and hearings to settle cases, ensuring fairness and managing out court proceedings is the main role of being a judge.

[Deputy Mayor]
The deputy mayor is the second highest position in Karakura, their role highly dependent on assisting the mayor by acting as the mayor’s representative during their absence and playing a key role within the government faction.

[Mayor]
The mayor is the highest position in Karakura, their role is to monitor and stabilize the wellbeing of the entire town. They do basically everything around the town and make sure everything is in shape. They are the main representative of the town and have the highest amount of power

Do you acknowledge that upon being accepted you can be subject to removal at any given time?:
I acknowledge that I can be removed from my position at any moment if i do get accepted

Have you read & agreed to follow the Government Faction rules?:
Yes, I have read the Government Faction’s rules and I agree to follow them

IN CHARACTER SECTION

Full name:

He would walk into the recruiting room, a stoic expression remained on his face as he scanned his surroundings. He took a seat on the chair before responding to the question “Malakai Briarwood.” His response was simple as he stared at the individual. He crossed his legs on top of each other and rested his hand to his chin.

Preferred title (Mr., Mrs., etc.):
He stayed silent until he heard the next question, he shifted in his seat and spoke “Mr” yet again, straight to the point. Nothing much else to say to that, he sat in the chair, waiting for the next question.

Current age:
He cleared his throat and said “I'm currently 25 years old.” He responded to the recruiter. He took his hand off of his chin and shifted to rest his arm on the armrest.

Date of birth:
“August 17th, 2000” His response was quick as he just sat there. Waiting on the next question.

Gender:
“Male.” he said as he looked at himself for a moment before shifting his gaze back to the recruiter, examining them briefly.

Academic Degree:
A small smirk would play on his lips as the recruiter asked the question, feeling proud of what he accomplished, he spoke proudly “I have a Public Administration degree from Waseda University.” His smirk transformed into a smile as he awaited the next question.

Major(s):
The smile still apparent on his face as he spoke again “My majors are in Law and Political Science” his response was quick and simple, still feeling proud of all of the work he’s done to get to this point is exhilarating.

Minor(s):
“I have minors in Criminology and Accounting” He uncrossed his legs and leaned forward, pressing his lips into a thin line, as to be deep in thought. He looked the recruiter up and down as he jotted the notes on his notepad.

Work experience:
He thought for a moment, thinking of his experiences in both Karakura and the Philippines. After a while, he finally said “Well… I don't have much work experience in Karakura, I did work for a small business back in the Philippines, I handled the marketing part and made some decent money. Other things I’ve done in Karakura weren’t official jobs but I was paid to solve disputes around the city. But I do have work experience from when I was younger in the Philippines working for the public stores around town.”

Nationality & born location:
He would smile a bit as he reminisced all of the times when he was with his family in the Philippines. He stopped reminiscing and said “I was born in Antipolo, Philippines with my 3 siblings.” He stopped talking and went back to thinking about the past experiences he had with his siblings.

Fluent languages (Underline your native):
“I’m fluent in Japanese, English, and Filipino.” He would speak small sentences in each language, proving that he was telling the truth. He leaned back in his chair and sat there in silence, waiting for the recruiter to finish jotting down his notes.

Criminal record:
He looked at the reporter again and fixed his posture. “None, I’m the cleanest I could be.” He replied calmly, knowing his record was clean made him feel relieved.

What makes you a good candidate for this job?
He took a deep breath in, finally, this was the question he prepared himself for, and the one he’s been waiting for this entire time. He responded calmly, remembering all of the sentences he pre-prepared in his head for this moment. “I would say I’m just as ready as all of the other participants here, I feel confident in my ability to act like the governor that the city deserves, whether it’s solving small disturbances, handing out ID’s, officiating marriages, etcetera. I feel that I’m more than qualified to fit the role of governor and become successful in my venture. I am good with conversation, managing money, and I know the law from the front cover to the back. All I care about is making my city a safer and better place in general.” He crossed his arms and exhaled. He couldn’t help but feel nervous for the reaction of the recruiter. But he also felt relieved that he's finally done. Once he was dismissed, he stood up and gave a bow to the recruiter before walking out of the room.

(Note: I do have to switch Malakai to my primary character slot if this gets accepted)
