Describe your activity on the server:
I joined the server around the beginning of October in 2025, where I've been playing on the server basically everyday from around 5-8pm to 3-4am EST. I can sometimes get on as early as 3pm EST but doesn't happen often and I sometimes go to bed earlier if I have something going on the next day.

What position are you applying for?: Governor

What is your motivation for applying?:
First of all, I know it's ridiculous to apply on a character that got arrested but the reason I did was for character development because I currently have nothing going on with her and other thugs she knows has managed to get careers despite their record. I feel like it would be an interesting idea due to what Ryn explains in the last 2 questions and hopefully her explanation as well as mine, would allow this story arc and character development to happen but if not I can change the character that is applying. I really want to be able to experience other forms of roleplay through the faction and learn more about how things are down on the legal side of things within the server because currently I only have experience in gangRP and I wish to try something new, to learn the ins and outs of the server to better myself as a roleplayer to provide enjoyable experiences for everyone while growing my confidence even more along the way. I currently struggle to find much to do on SRP as a civilian, as I'm currently not in gangRP anymore due to me wanting to try other factions.

Do you have an understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights?:
I'd say i have a pretty good understanding as I occasionally read them over again from time to time just to better memorize it but I am always open to learning as much as I can to further my knowledge and better the experiences.

What are your goals for being in Government Faction?:
A have a few goals upon joining the Government faction; such as, to learn more about the server from a different perspective while providing interaction and roleplay amongst other players that is enjoyable or helpful and being frequently present for people who may need help or just want some sort of interaction. I love to detailRP as well and would be more than happy to RP out doing varies responsibilities with people; such as, providing marriage certificates, adoption paperwork, shop inspections, attending trials and more in a way to provide meaningful and enjoyable RP for people rather than just rushing through it just to log the quota.

In your own words, describe the different roles of the Government Faction:
{Mayor & Deputy-Mayor}
Mayors are overall responsible for ensuring that Karakura runs smoothly by keeping all other Government employees below them in check, establishing and approving laws, handling and making important decisions during events or disasters in efforts to keep the people of Karakura safe to the best of their ability; such as, the sewer collapse that day. Deputy-Mayors basically do everything the Mayor does but as the second in command, they will work together when it comes to making decisions or the Deputy-Mayor will step in whenever the Mayor is unavailable.

{Governor}
Governors are like the middle ground between the government faction and citizens of Karakura and are often who people will encounter the most around the town because they are responsible for distributing ID cards to citizens of Karakura by paying a 5,000 yen fee, officiating marriages between citizens who are 18 years or older with proof of them being in a romantic relationship with each other for at least 2 months, filing adoption paperwork, frequently survey the public to ensure the safety guidelines and regulations for citizens, schedule or even randomly perform citizen ran shop inspections to make sure they are running the shop accordingly with the proper safety guidelines and regulations; and lastly, attending trials of Karakura.

{Judge}
Judges have some similar responsibilities to Governors; such as, officiating marriages between citizens who are 18 years or older with proof of them being in a romantic relationship with each other for at least 2 months, filing adoption paperwork and attending trials, except they are the ones who determine if the citizen in question is either guilty or not guilty based on evidence filed to them within the case while ensuring the citizen was treated fairly and their Karakura constitutional rights weren't broken during the arrest or detainment. Judges also are responsible for issuing warrants under probable cause or evidence provide to act upon a warrant, file restraining orders upon request of a citizen with evidence for the reasoning of a retraining order; and lastly, doing typical desk work.

{Lawyer}
Lawyers are also able to file restraining orders and attend trials because they are who citizens call in hopes the lawyer can defend them during court to be found as not guilty for what they are be charged with by gathering evidence for the case to bring during the trial or submit to the judge. Lawyers are on call for citizens to reach out to request a client meeting to either go over everything they wish to bring forth at the upcoming trial or become a client with the lawyer where they will write you down onto their client list and proceed to help gather evidence to defend you in court to prove your innocence.

Yes, I understand and accept the consequences or circumstances.

Have you read & agreed to follow the Government Faction rules?:
Yes, I've read server rules and faction rules multiple times, and I occasionally read them over just as a refresher as well to try to memorize them.

IN CHARACTER SECTION

Full name:
-She would gently sit down in the seat across the desk with 1 leg over the over while sitting up straight in a professional demeaner as she would be wearing a white blouse, smooth navy colored skirt, brown pantyhose, black heels and a silver necklace with her copper ginger hair tied neatly into a ponytail. She keeps a gentle yet confident gaze as she gives a soft friendly smile when the interview process begins- "Ryn Myers".

Preferred title (Mr., Mrs., etc.):
-Ryn holds her resume on her lap, her hands gently folded on top of each other on the blue folder containing her resume while maintaining the confident and professional posture- "Ms is fine as I've never been married, but feel free to call me Ryn as i don't mind."

Current age:
-Ryn would slide her ID onto the desk to show proof of age and residence of being a citizen of Karakura as she speaks, in case the interviewer needs to write down any information from her ID- "I'm currently 25 years old."

Date of birth:
-Once the interviewer was done looking over her ID she would gently take it back as she puts it back where it belongs in her small wallet before returning her hand back on top of the other that holds the blue folder in place upon her lap-"I was born October 10th 2007."

Academic Background:
-At this moment she would gently hand over the blue folder that contains her resume that has further information within it and provides a bit of more detail as she speaks- "I've been away from Karakura for a while now as I flew out to Minato, Japan where I attended Keio University to study Sociology, Politics, Law and Legal Studies, Economics and Econometrics and Public Policy. I got a master's degree in Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Global Legal Practice."

Work experience:
-She softly exhales as she seems a bit disappointed in what she is about to say while slightly adjusting herself within the seat but still maintain good posture with a friendly smile upon her face- "I mainly just volunteered for certain local organizations or positions within the area related to my studies to get a more hands on learning experience whenever I had the free time to do so, other than that I was just a waitress at a local fancy restaurant not far from the University to of course maintain income for school expenses. I am hoping to get my first career within Karakura as I consider it my home and would love to contribute to society in a positive way."

Nationality & born location:
-A soft smirks spreads across her face for a brief moment as she thinks back of her life in America, glancing off to the side for a brief moment before quickly maintaining eye contact again with a polite smile- "I am American from the United States, more specifically the southern state of Florida where I had a rocky childhood and wanted to move elsewhere to hopefully start a new life and I've always loved Japanese culture, so I moved here to Karakura."

Criminal record:
-Ryn's smile fades upon hearing this question as she becomes anxious and nervous about this but hopefully it won't be held against her or ruin her chances. She says in her mind 'please just give me a chance, everyone makes mistakes' as she takes a deep breath then proceeds to answer the question- "As I mentioned before, I had a rocky childhood from the start and so when I moved here to Karakura, I ended up getting involved with a group as I didn't fully understand.. though I was only in it for about 4 weeks before I left as I learned the truth about it." -she pauses for a moment to deeply yet softly inhale, then exhale before continuing- "However, a few days later after leaving the group, I got arrested for gang affiliation as someone wasn't happy with me for leaving. I've never hurt anyone, never even vandalized or even trespassed, I had nor have any other charges on me either as I had a clean recorded until that day." -Ryn looks to the interviewer with a plea of forgiveness in her eyes, hoping her past childhood mistake doesn't prevent her from this position..-

What makes you a good candidate for this job?:
-She softly breathes to try to calm her anxiety and nervousness down after the previous question as she maintains a professional posture, looking to them with a polite, confident & determined gaze- "I believe I am a good candidate for the job because my past life experiences provide me something that many don't have and that is experience of the good, the bad and the ugly. Experience and knowledge from the legal side and the illegal side, allowing me to better relate to the citizens of Karakura where I can confidently say that I DO understand, I get it because I been there while also providing me a non-bias mindset due to this. Everyone makes mistakes in life, no one is perfect and friends of mine who have bettered themselves into careers has shown me that I could break from that dark path as well to contribute to society in a more positive and legal way while helping those in need or even providing guidance to those who are lost in the dark." -Ryn holds her head up in confidence and professionalism as she continues- "I apologize for my past life behavior but I ask of you to not judge me on childish mistakes in my younger days but instead judge me on my efforts, my honesty, my education and my will to prove to you, to the city of Karakura that choosing me as governor was worth it." -Ryn gently stands up, bowing respectfully to the interviewer- "Thank you for your time." -She then turns on her heel, exiting the room with her fingers crossed.-​
