What is your Minecraft username?:
GrassBlock356 (Applying) / Grasstoucher0 (Alt Account)

Do you have Discord (If so, what is your discord username?):
Yes! I do have a discord. I can be found at __dreamy_

What is your time zone?:
My timezone is EST (GMT-5)

Describe your activity on the server:
I would describe my activity as fairly active. Whilst I am not quite as active as I have been over the course of my two years playing SRP, I am certain it will not be a problem for me to fulfill quota.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
Yes, I acknowledge that if I am inactive, I will be demoted and/or entirely removed from the faction.

School Employee Role you are applying for?:
I am applying for the position of Chef.

In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
The role of Chef is to, of course, feed the students in-between classes, breakfast and lunch respectively and make sure they are sustained to last them through the day. Arguably, the job of a Chef is one of the most meticulous, as aside from their main duties revolving around everything that has to do with keeping the kitchen maintained via insistent cleaning, prep work; And, as mentioned, cooking. Another facet of the job is the importance of keeping a safe environment and ensuring all guidelines are followed to prevent any medical incidents. Of course, it is also vital for them to maintain order over the lunchroom and ensure all goes smoothly between students. The job of a Chef certainly isn’t an easy one, and as a member of the school faculty, they are certainly not exempt from ensuring order is maintained through the entirety of the school as well.

What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I have years worth of experience regarding roleplay under my belt! Before settling down onto SRP, I was often around the internet looking for online spaces–mainly forums. However, I have had various experiences with SRP, and so in 2024 did I decide to come back to SRP. The rest is history from there!

That is to say, I adore the medium of roleplay and being able to creatively express characters through what SRP offers. Lore-writing, learning about characters, and finding the meaning in writing are all side-hobbies of mine regarding such. In my two years that I have been on the server, I am more than glad to have stuck around for as long as I have. I can only hope to stick around for far longer to come.

Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
I have had the fortunate opportunity to dabble in a few of the various factions that SRP has to offer. The School Faction itself being one of the factions I have considered applying for in the past, ever since I had joined back onto the server really! Whilst I did not think I would find myself applying in the near future, as of recently, I have been keeping an eye on the faction itself. Growing more comfortable, and becoming more confident in the prospect given the roles I have had the opportunity of being in the past.

Along with this, speaking with those who are part of the faculty, or simply roaming around the school has piqued my interest overall. I would love to have the opportunity to be a small facet of this community and to get to know the ones behind it as well. Hopefully, contributing in any manner that I could personally provide to one of the core values that the server revolves itself around.

Not only this, but do I always put emphasis into what suits the character themselves. Out of the available, do I believe the role that I am applying for would best suit the character that I am applying for the best!

/*Do not mention use of FearRP*/

During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:

Ah a misbehaving student–one of the many trifles that an employee of such an esteemed academic environment must tackle! Naturally, taking the situation on the chin wouldn’t even be a question. Meeting the malicious comments with a playful remark of their own, “Gasp, moi?!”
Silvio would approach the regard with something more theatrical than any real approach harbored by any genuine discomfort. Mellowing out the situation itself.

Not all would be lost for the student, of course! As the hopefully soon-to-be chef would leave the unruly student with a few bits of advice. Advising against making such comments in the future as, ‘It could really hurt someone darling!’ Sprinkling the moral lesson with all the glitter and rainbows that’d be expected out of someone like him, before going about his day. Of course, he’d keep an eye, and ear, out for the same unruly student to ensure they do not go about trifling with any other staff members, and likewise, fellow students.

You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
Uh oh–violence! Didn’t these students know that using your fists to settle a dispute is so 1620’s? Evidently, many students don’t! As arguably, violence is more often than not one of the leading reasons for students to get whisked away to after-school detention. So, of course, the dispute itself wouldn’t come as a surprise to Silivo–and naturally, effort would be put into first and foremost, separating the two above all else. He’d first radio his fellow staff members to aid in separating the unruly pair, guiding them to the nurses office after the fact, and speaking with them one-on-one. Gathering the story and understanding why they had fought in the first place, giving advice on how to handle the situation better in the future, and of course, providing them both with after-school detention. Overseeing their detention himself to make sure that no other disputes take place.

Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
As the saying goes, once is a mistake, twice is a coincidence, thrice is a habit. Silivo wouldn't reprimand his co-worker. Simply giving them none more than a passing glance, perhaps a joke or two revolving around ‘Being more careful’ and the like. However, if the offenses were to repeat, would Silvio decide to take matters in his own hands and speak with the co-worker personally. Instructing them that acting / doing what they have been is not only harming themselves, but puts the rest of faculty and the students at risk as well. Naturally, in his own way of course, but the point would get across nonetheless.

Of course, if the offenses do continue, then Silvio would do nothing other than report them to the board and move along with his day. Hey, at least it gives him some gossip!

When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
Well what else was the diva meant to get up to? Catching up on the latest gossip, stories of horrors, so on, so forth would be what Silvio would be up to. Carrying that ever present theatrical cadence of theirs, and really, enjoying the brief period of respite. Bringing along a meal or two for the rest of his fellow war-veterans to enjoy as well! Overall, there'd never be a dull moment when he's in the room.

Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:

/me
clicked on the lights to the grand kitchen. Grandly, inhaling the fresh scent of kleenex and bleach that every surface was wiped down with. What kind of Chef would they be after all if they didn’t, at the bare minimum, clean up their station, right? Anyhow! With a leisure to his stroll, he went straight for the freezer in the back. Looking through the supplies, and preparing what was eventually to arrive onto the students plate. It was an early morning, couldn’t have been past 5:00AM, and he was practically bouncing about with the energy of a man who just won the lottery. Whistling all the while, as it got to work preparing for the day–ouuuhh perhaps a classic egg and ‘bakey’ would do well for breakfast.

/me “Enjoy darling!” was called out to the student who received their platter of delectables to last them through the rest of the school day. Its chest puffed out in none short with pride, observing the many contentful faces that worked away at the array. “Oh! ♪” The Chef perked up, swerving around to the next ravenous soul in line. The student in question had been half obscured, thanks to the lack of peripheral vision, of course. “Gosh, scared me halfway into the grave there! Alright, are we feeling vegan today or sou-pey?” A drum of their gloved palm against the counter as they waited patiently for the students' choice–swerving to the side, and grabbing the tray once the wee one had chosen. Bestowing it as one would to one of high caliber. “I bestow thou with your meal, then.” A chuckle following suit, “Make sure not to run kid, enjoy.”

/me dapped lightly at its brow with the nearest, rather lightly blue towel. 3:00PM, whilst for the students this meant it was time to settle on home, was it for Silivo one of his favorite parts of the day. The one where it was quiet, save from the occasional chatter and excitement amongst students–plans being made, gossip being shared. Eloquently dubbing such a period as ‘Quiet time’. Silivo weaved to the back of the kitchen to first and foremost wash up the dishes that remained in the far right side of the sink, waiting to be cleansed. Washing, powering away the suds, and placing away afterwards. Then, wandering over to its storage closet–taking out a bundle of keys and unlocking to grab the bleach and other various cleaning supplies. A good afternoon spent wiping down, storing away, and prepping for the incoming day after. “See you in the morning ♪” was offered to the empty space, lights out, and moving along with his day.

Full Name (First & Last only):
The haughty shawl lulled itself across the chair like a weighted blanket. The air around them filled to the brim with overpriced cologne and empty promises. “Silvio Chávez.” Eloquently rolling off of the tongue, uttered with the cadence of a shabby business-man, or an overdramatic show host. The bedazzled display up righted itself, curling forwards. “It’s truly a ball to be here with you today.”

Title (Mr, Mrs, Miss):
The bird leaned itself back–eyeing his nails, albeit for a brief moment before looking back across. Their right eye scrunching with a smile, whilst the left, a glassy prosthetic imbued with a bright star remained unmoving. “Preferred title? Ouuhh, let’s see here, so many good ones, ya know?” A slight twirl of the wrist, followed along by a soft click of his tongue. “Mr, Mx, either of those will do just dandy.”

Preferred Name:
Silivo clasped its palms together, mulling over the inquiry. “Gosh well, Silivo, Silv–can’t really say I mind too much. Oh now there was this lovely woman out in France who–” A brief interjection, and a soft reminder to him to stay on topic. “Oops! Haha, we can go over that another time of course. Mx, or Mr. Silvio is perfectly fine.”

Age (Minimum is 25):
The man raised his palm halfway, if only to loosely twirl one of his many curls around his finger. “Goodness, well, I know I certainly don’t look it, but I’m fourty-one.”

Gender:
“Gender? I hardly even know her.” A pause midway. “See, I save that one for family gatherings, ahem. Gender is such a finicky thing though, no?” It drummed its nails against the desk. “Now if we’re talking about biology here, then I’m a man.”

Academic Degree:
As though this was the question he had been prepping his entire life for–it raised itself. Flaunting off his ‘feathers’ in every metaphorical sense. “Well, I have a Masters in the wondrous world of Culinary arts, Gastronomy–and, there was this lovely little acting program I attended for a good four-years.”

Major(s):
“Now, get this, believe it or not, am I also an actor. You can read up all about it on my website–” He adjusted himself, puffing out his chest with nothing short of pride. “But, anyhow–to put it short, if my career in the culinary world ever fell through, I kept acting as a backup. Drama and theater arts, Musical theatre–all majors under my belt. Really the array, I know.”

Minors:
“Well!” It adjusted its posture slightly, curling a fist and rubbing it against his chest. Really, how humble. “I don’t mean to brag too much here, but I have a minor in Dance and Business marketing. Oh! Speaking of which–” He rummaged through his pocket, taking out a business card and setting it to the side. “My contact info, made after a business class I attended in Brazil.” Winking thereafter.

Nationality:
“Oh–well, I’m Peruvian.” It reached back to run a hand through his hair, a small habit it was really. “Though I’ve traveled quite a lot, actually when I was twenty–” tuning the man out, the interviewer… simply moved onto the next question.

Known Languages:
Silivo held up his palm–four digits outstretched. Knocking them down as he went on, “Spanish, English, French, and, Japanese of course.” It tucked its arms over his chest, a self-satisfied smirk held all the while. “Quite the polyglot, I know.”

Backstory

Born and raised in the heart of Peru, Lima, Silivo was raised from a rather affluent lifestyle. It was only in his birthright, afterall, being the star child of two famed actors. Luxury toys, clothes, parties–all the norm. Then, two little ones would join the family. Making them the perfect portrait of a family of five. Love was boundless in their household, though of course, their tale wasn’t all glitz and glamor.
Behind the scenes, did Silivo deal with numerous medical battles. Born with diabetes, and complications with his heart–his life expectancy never exceeded past seventy. Death rang at the door, each episode, pill, and insulin shot only reminding him of this day-by-day. For a long period, there was no guidance. No flame that urged him onwards–surviving only by the encouragement of his family.
Quite drab really, no? Of course all wasn’t hopeless however! The bird refused to simply lay there and die after all. Straight after graduating, did they decide to explore. He was only nineteen when he arrived in America, and twenty when he went to France. Silvio traveled all across the world, and applied for numerous jobs. Delving knee-deep into his education, falling in love all the while and losing it in a similar breath. His life had picked up pace, and it wouldn’t settle down until years later. Right on the cusp of his thirty-nineth birthday.
Silivo was ready to settle down, though unfortunately could never dream of having a child of his own. So, he’d simply settle for the next best thing. If he couldn’t have one of his own, then he’d inspire others. It was around this period that he began applying for numerous positions, mostly in kitchens in various schools, and two years later, he came across an open position for a chef in Japan! As with everything in their life, they did not waste a second to make the move. Arriving in Karakura only months later, and applying for the position.

Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
And finally, rearing the end of the interview–there was a pause in the showmen’s visage. Peeling back the curtains and looking at the wiring that made him, him. “Well, my good lad–” It crossed its legs–left over right. Folding his palms after the matter, resting. “My clock has been defunct since birth–so I’ve never paused or even second-guessed myself. Even for a second when it came to anything involving where I was headed.”

Drumming its digits against its knee, he continued. “I’ve explored plenty of avenues by now. Been a part of numerous productions, met all kinds of people. And after it all, more than anything, I’m ready to settle down.” A soft huff. “Of course, not with a family of my own, goodness. But, being some sort of light for the next generation. Even in a small, or in my preferred style, grandeur way. Maybe even leave a mark, life lessons and all that, right?”

The flame extended his arms out briefly, waving his palms around. “So, to put it short, I want to inspire before this little show of mine runs out.”

Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
If I had to pinpoint one direct reason as to why I should be accepted over other applicants, it is for my passion and care for roleplay and generally! As stated earlier in this application, I take great care into the characters and lore that is solidified. Creative writing has always been a passion of mine overall, and I am a huge fiend for everything revolving around the nature of it. That is it to say, I truly do care for the nature of the server as a whole and the position itself that I am applying for. I do not claim to have ‘perfect’ writing by any means, but do trust that there is always care put into it. Let alone, do I simply enjoy the environment of the server, and would be honored to be picked amongst the other lovely applicants!

Thank you for reading!
