What experiences do you have with DetailRP?: Personally, I take a lot of time on my own to practice DetailRP. I have also been EMS in the past, which again, required DetailRP, therefore, I believe that I have had a lot of experience in general for DetailRP.
What is your motivation to apply for EMS and how will you benefit our medical team?: When I first began as EMS, the team was extremely welcoming and I found it enjoyable to play an EMS character. The group of people was mostly my motivation for being on my EMS character in general, and it’s also not to mention that even though I wasn’t ‘top doctor’ all the time, I was always welcomed as a friend.
I believe I’ll benefit the medical team because I am often available. I have a lot of free time, even during school or during the holidays. I think this can help me bring activity to the EMS team, as I’ll be spending a lot of my time on my EMS account specifically to help players on the server and I’ll be also benefiting the hospital itself by being active.
Which medical role are you applying for? (e.g: Surgeon, Doctor, Nurse, Psychiatrist): This time, I’m applying for Doctor.
Specify your knowledge for the role you’re applying for: Doctors often handle check-ups for your average person, as well as check-ups for those who are injured. They often handle those who are not mental-health related and they can handle a variety of different types of injuries and disabilities. They take care of those that require minimal surgeries.
Categorize all the functions of the EMS and tell us what each of them does:
Doctor - These are the peoople that are meant to handle check-ups, minor surgeries, and more specific appointments. They often take care of most patients that are not mental-health related.
Psychiatrist - This is the branch that takes care of mental health, psychiatry, and therapy appointments. They care for the mentally ill as well as diagnose them with disorders and supply psychiatric medication.
Surgeon - Surgeons are the members of EMS that often specialize in things like larger and more important surgeries in emergency situations or non-urgent situations. They tend to handle larger procedures that require surgical interference, and it often requires patience and a steady hand.
Nurse - Nurses take care of midwifery and check-ups, however, if there are no doctors or surgeons around, they are able to treat minor wounds. They are also able to help patients prepare for certain surgeries.
Are you aware of the basic medical emergency colour codes? If so, with their meanings, specify all those you’re aware of:
Code Blue - Medical Emergency. Generally, a CPR team is required for these.
Code Red - Fire. This means that an evacuation must occur.
Code Green - Behavioral Emergency. This generally means that a patient is having an issue with a hospital staff member.
Code Orange - Hazardous Material. This means that there is some type of material that is not supposed to be released.
Code Yellow - Disaster. Overall, there must be some type of disaster happening within the hospital, natural or manmade.
