As a Reporter, I’m already on often as I play SRP like… Everyday. I enjoy roleplaying with others and getting the chance to improve my writing skills through reading others' writing styles and comparing them! I will be starting school soon and I do intend on getting a job in the future and joining clubs, soon. But I may also do online school and will have more time. I will write inactivity logs if I am busy, but most likely not. The primary role of the student council is to serve as the voice of the student body, representing their interests and concerns to the school administration. They also play a key role in organizing and executing various school events, including but not limited to dances, spirit weeks, and sports days. They also work to foster a positive and inclusive school environment by keeping their peers in check, ensuring that the student body's needs and wishes are taken into consideration in decision-making processes. Through these efforts, the student council contributes to creating a vibrant and supportive school community. What motivated you to apply for council? (e.g. Interests, friends, etc.): One of the primary motivations for me to be a part of the student council is the encouragement and influence of my friends, Leo and Lizzy. Both Leo and Lizzy have always been enthusiastic about school activities and have shown immense support for my involvement in various school initiatives. Their passion and dedication to the school community have inspired me to step up and contribute in a meaningful way. Another significant factor that has motivated me to pursue a position in the student council is the roleplay aspect. I have always been intrigued by the dynamics of student governance and the opportunity to immerse myself in a role that allows me to explore various facets of leadership and responsibility. I am eager to contribute to the school community, make a positive impact, and enjoy the unique experience that comes with being a student council member Are you aware that you’ll be having to use your creativity and teamwork ethic within the student council? (e.g. Coming up and helping with events): I am aware of being responsible for contributing to teamwork and events using creativity Can you list the roles in the council along with other roles that might be important to the council?: President The president of the student body is the lead role. They are in charge of keeping the team together and making sure everyone is in check. They host meetings and make sure their members are helping and doing the best of their abilities! The president has direction and motivation for all members of the council. They are the face of the student body and dare I say, the heart of the school. This position is only to be obtained through hard work and effort!! Vice-President The role of Vice President is the second in command of the council, think of them as the guard dog almost. They can be in place of the President and keep everyone else in check. He/she/they help keep council members accountable and ensure tasks are completed efficiently. The next best thing, think of them as the veins that the heart pumps blood through. This position is also only to be obtained through hard work and effort!! Council Council is a team of students who speak for their peers, aid them, and host events to make sure everyone can SAFELY enjoy their years at Karakura High School and College. They can roam the halls and watch out for their peers! They keep discipline inside the walls of the school... Along with assisting teachers and the staff. Members must be dedicated, responsible, and willing to work collaboratively for the benefit of their peers Faculty Faculty members are trusted adults who play a crucial role in maintaining the school’s operations and supporting the council in their activities. Basically the adults who work at the school, may that be teachers, nurses, or even receptionists! They are those who are to be trusted by the council in situations that they can't handle themselves, like calling students on the intercom for council or being an adult that's needed at the moment. They are usually the ones to be called if anything serious occurs! IC SECTION SCENARIOS While students gather for a school assembly, one student behaves disruptively, causing a disturbance. How would you manage the situation to restore order effectively while minimizing any additional disruptions to the assembly? "Oh, oh my, okay. Well first, I would address the disruptive behavior directly but calmly. I would start by giving the student a clear and firm warning, explaining why their behavior is unacceptable and how it disrupts the assembly for everyone else. I would say something like, 'I understand that you might be feeling restless, but your behavior is disrupting the assembly. If you continue, I will have to ask you to leave and you may receive a detention as a consequence.' A student refuses to take their mask off after you’ve brought up detention and they’ve run away! What do you do? “If someone decided to be a bother and RUN...I’d attempt to follow the student at a safe distance, making sure not to escalate the situation further by grabbing or physically restraining them, as that would be considered assault... I think it's the simplest thing... As I pursue the student, I’d continue to communicate clearly and assertively. 'You need to stop and face the consequences of your actions! Running away will only make things worse for you! If you don’t stop now, it will lead to more severe consequences like detention or involvement from the SLT!' Or something.. If the student continues to run and I’m unable to catch up, I’d quickly look for the nearest teacher or staff member for assistance!! If I spotted a teacher nearby, I’d approach them and explain the situation of course!" A teacher observes concerning behavior from a student, including the creation of disturbing artwork and verbal threats toward peers. How would you collaborate with the teacher to evaluate the situation and intervene appropriately to address potential safety concerns? “I would offer some warnings, and if not then a detention. Ah~ I can also aid the teacher in telling the students what they are doing is dangerous and scolding them. I think documenting the student's behavior is something important as well... It's not like we'd make a case on the student- but like.. they can have enough on them that may lead them into bigger consequences” A group of students asks for your permission to stage a protest on school grounds. Would you allow them to protest? If so, how do you ensure that the protest does not disrupt the school environment while upholding their freedom of expression? "I firmly believe in the importance of freedom of expression and the right for students to voice their opinions. However, certain considerations lead me to say no to allowing the protest on school grounds in this instance. Firstly, I would meet with the students to fully understand their concerns and the purpose of their protest... It’s important to listen and validate their feelings!!! I would explain that while their cause might be important, staging a protest on school grounds could disrupt the educational environment and create safety concerns. Our primary responsibility is to ensure a safe and effective learning environment for all students." A teacher/receptionist has told you that you are doing something that goes against what you were trained by your higher-ups. How would you react to this? “Uhm, let's see… I’d take responsibility and ask for clarity on what I did! For sure… and I would apologize of course... I'd say something like 'I appreciate you bringing this to my attention. Could you please clarify which specific aspect of my task is not aligning with the training?' You know? I would want to work on my mistakes to be sure I wouldn't make it again.” Please provide at least one detailed event that the council can use as a future event to showcase your creativity! (Must be 300 words or more for one event):

The interviews will be conducted by members of the student council or designated staff, adding an element of anticipation and excitement for the audience. To ensure the event runs smoothly, a team of volunteers will be on hand to assist with various tasks such as managing the stage, coordinating performers, and handling technical aspects. Refreshments and snacks will be available for purchase, with proceeds going towards school programs and future events. Judges will score each performance based on creativity, skill, stage presence, and audience reaction, adding a competitive yet friendly edge to the show.
