Situations
/*Do not mention use of FearRP*/
During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
Probably I would start a calm conversation with this person to clarify the situation. However, if this person's behavior went beyond the limits, I would most likely report it
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
As a school counselor, it is important to handle the situation professionally and effectively. The first step would be to intervene in the physical altercation by shouting for them to stop and separating them. Once they are separated, I would take them to a private room and listen to both sides of the story.
Next, I would aim to understand the underlying reasons for their conflict and help them communicate their feelings and needs effectively. I would encourage them to express themselves in a non-violent manner and provide them with tools to manage their emotions.
Finally, I would work with both students to find a solution to the problem and help them understand the impact of their actions on others. If necessary, I would also involve the appropriate authorities, such as school administrators, to ensure the safety and well-being of all parties involved.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
As a school counselor, my character would react to an inappropriate and dangerous situation by taking immediate action to address it. This would involve first assessing the situation and determining the best course of action to take. If the situation requires immediate intervention to ensure the safety of students and staff, I would take immediate action, such as contacting the school administration, the local police, or other relevant authorities.
Once the immediate danger has been addressed, I would then work with the school administration to investigate the situation further, gather any additional information or witnesses, and work to understand the root cause of the problem. This would help me to better understand the situation, determine what changes need to be made to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future, and take the appropriate steps to support the individuals involved.
Throughout this process, my character would remain calm, professional, and focused on finding a solution that is in the best interest of all parties involved. I would also ensure that all necessary steps are taken to maintain confidentiality, provide support to those affected by the situation, and work to minimize any negative impact on the school communit
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?

They would engage in conversations and maintain a friendly demeanor, but also be mindful of others' personal space and boundaries. If a conflict were to arise, my character would approach the situation calmly and try to listen to both sides of the story, before offering a solution that would address the root of the problem. They would aim to resolve the conflict in a way that is fair for all parties involved, and maintain a positive and supportive work environment.

Backstory
Hitomi was born in Warsaw. Her parents weren't very wealthy, they could barely make ends meet. When Hitomi started primary school, her father began to have problems with alcohol. Over the next few years, problems began to grow, not only with alcohol but also with money, which her father spent on parties. Hitomi's father began to use violence in the family when her mother tried to fix the situation at home. Her father refused to agree to therapy. When it came to the point that her father started hitting Hitomi and using psychological violence, her mother called the police and from that point on Hitomi was alone with her mother. Additionally, the situation at school was not favorable for Hitomi, she was unable to find her place in the environment. She had poor grades, bad behavior grades and often got into fights that ended with her mom being called. Hitomi was bullied at school by her peers and of course she defended herself. In 7th grade, Hitomi began to have her first symptoms of OCD, when during break or during class with permission she would escape to the bathroom and wash her hands several times, which would then be prolonged to 20 minutes. One day the teacher saw this and sent Hitomi to the school psychologist, whom she really liked. The psychologist initially stated that Hitomi suffers from OCD and Borderline, but a deeper diagnosis must be made by specialists. Hitomi continued therapy with the psychologist and developed a very good relationship. Thanks to the psychologist, she began to be interested in psychology. Unfortunately, financial problems were increasingly affecting her life, so her mother made the difficult decision to leave Warsaw for Japan, where she found a chance for a better life. Hitomi quickly began to learn the language and culture, and make new friends.
At 19 years old, Hitomi became increasingly interested in psychology. After numerous situations at school where she solved various problems using the tricks she learned from reading psychological books, she started to think about pursuing this field in her life. She started studying psychology and it has become her favorite subject and she loves it. Hitomi often prioritizes others' problems over her own, which allows her to help them effectively. She loves helping people and finds great satisfaction in it.
As a future school counselor, Hitomi has a natural passion for helping others and has honed her skills through her studies and experiences. She is dedicated to making a positive impact in students' lives and is committed to providing them with the support and guidance they need to succeed. Her empathetic nature and strong problem-solving skills make her a great asset to the school community.
Motivation for Joining KHS:
Hitomi has always been fascinated by psychology. From a young age, she was drawn to the subject, reading books and learning all she could. This passion continued to grow as she got older, and she decided to study psychology in college. After completing her education, Hitomi realized that she wanted to put her knowledge and skills to use helping others.
Hitomi's experiences in school made her realize the importance of having a supportive and caring counselor who can help students work through their problems. She has seen first-hand the difference that a good counselor can make, and she wants to be that person for others. Hitomi is passionate about helping others, and she finds great satisfaction in making a positive difference in people's lives.
That's why Hitomi is motivated to become a school counselor. She wants to use her knowledge and skills to help students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. Hitomi believes that she can make a real difference in the lives of students, and she is eager to get started in this rewarding and meaningful career.
