This post will cover all of the necessary information and rules that all applicants must know when applying to the Hospital Faction. If you are confused or need assistance with your application, do not be afraid to message the Director, a hospital higher-up, or any of the hospital workers privately. Additionally, you may ask any questions you have in the Karakura Emergency discord.

HOSPITAL INFORMATION
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? Do you want your character to work in a dynamic and fulfilling roleplay environment? If so, Karakura Hospital is your calling. As a member of our team, you’ll have the chance to write alongside some of the best and brightest, all while making a positive impact on the experiences of patients and their families.

Upon joining the Hospital Faction, the accepted residents are given a proper introduction alongside two (or more) weeks of training in order to introduce them to the required medical procedures and ensure they are well-prepared for their journey in the Hospital. During this time, they will become acquainted with the Hospital Director, the hospital higher-ups, and other members of the hospital. At the end of their training period, residents will take an examination to determine whether they will remain or not. Furthermore, every Hospital Worker, regardless of department, is expected to get a minimum of 20 quota points, granting them a ¥200,000 paycheck. Additionally, workers can reach a maximum of 40 quota points for ¥400,000.

ACTIVITIES AND PROGRESSION
Focused on saving lives, the Karakura Hospital offers a range of different activities regardless of the department, whether it be assisting with forensics work, patching a regular old stab wound up, or even scribbling down notes on a clipboard to decide the next best treatment plan for one of Karakura's youth! It's all offered here.

Karakura Hospital's doctors take a steady approach to the medical field, performing procedures ranging from a simple check-up to even the trickiest of organ transplants! Whilst it's more for those who are more practical, becoming a doctor offers an incredible roleplay environment filled with physical diagnoses, and maybe even contributions to a mental diagnosis!

On the other end of things, the Hospital also has a specialized psychiatric team, filled with the greatest psychiatrists known to Karakura! With a more laid back approach, psychiatrists offer the best knowledge they can on mental disorders and diagnoses, offering various therapy sessions and a lovely roleplay environment for those less interested in the blood and gore and more interested in aspects of psychology!

Even after passing your residency exams, the Hospital offers a route down into the Emergency Department! The paramedic department - filled with dedicated first responders able to aid the Karakura Police department and any citizens in an immediate situation! Fancy a fast-paced scene? Being a paramedic is for you.

RULES & GUIDELINES
The following rules and/or guidelines are taken into consideration when it comes to reviewing Hospital applications. Ensure to try and follow all of them in order to increase your chances of acceptance, alongside presenting a stunning application and presence to the environment:
  1. All applications must be formatted properly. All applications should be written in black with the questions being bolded (not the answers). There are minor exceptions to this, i.e., Accepted, however, your entire application shouldn’t be excessively coloured, italicised, etc.
  2. Applications must have a proper title. If you are applying to be a Hospital Worker, you must clearly state in the title that it is a Hospital Application. If you no longer wish to apply, change it to REMOVE or anything along those lines.
  3. Applicants must maintain constant activity. Any applicants that have not logged onto any of their registered accounts for two weeks before applications are reviewed will be denied.
  4. Applications must not be plagiarized in any manner. Stealing information from another player’s application or official sources will result in an immediate denial and blacklist from the Hospital faction.
  5. All applications must be original to the applicant. Getting other players and/or AI to write your application for you is prohibited when applying, you must write your own.
  6. All applicants must have a decent reputation. Any past punishments are likely to impact the outcome of your application, specifically recent punishments, as the Hospital Director will judge your history. However, this is only for extreme cases.
  7. Applicants with multiple roles are less likely to be accepted. Individuals with fewer roles will be prioritized over those with multiple (Town, Police, Teacher, etc.). Although, this does not tend to impact the chances of acceptance unless there are multiple excelling applications.
  8. All applicants must have a general understanding of the server. It is recommended to know the SchoolRP rules and generally know your way around the server prior to applying, otherwise, it is likely you will be given more time to settle into the server.
  9. No medical knowledge is required. You are not expected and/or required to have an understanding of medical procedures and/or therapy prior to applying. An interest in the field is simple enough, as you will undergo a two week training period in order to learn the necessary procedures.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. How old can my character be?
The minimum age that your character can be upon joining the faction is twenty-five (25) years of age. This means that you must choose between a range of 25-75 years old.

2. Who do I sent my application to?
When you have finished your application, all you need to do is post a thread in the Hospital Applications subforums (click here).

3. When are Hospital Applications being reviewed?
Generally, applications are reviewed a month after the last application wave has passed their examinations, depending on the number of open slots. Alternatively, keep an eye out on the Karakura Emergency announcements to see when they are being reviewed. A weeks to two weeks notice is always given

4. Can I engage in gang-based crime whilst in the Hospital faction?
Yes, as long as you are not involved on your Hospital profile itself.

5. Can you help me with my application?
Not necessarily, no. Your application must be your own work, meaning that no worker can provide you with answers to the questions. However, everyone in the faction is willing to answer any questions you may have whilst filling in the application.

6. How do I become a Paramedic?
To become a Paramedic, you must first apply for either Doctor or Psychiatrist. Afterwards, as long as you pass your resident examination, you can contact the Director and/or Paramedic Chief expressing your interest. When there's an open spot, you'll be considered for the department!

7. What if I know nothing about medical procedures?
You can still express your interest in the medical fields themself and apply for the faction, as you're given training and documents that show and teach you everything you need to know!
