What experiences do you have with Detail RP?:
I have a lot of experience and knowledge when it comes to DetailRP. I’ve been practicing DetailRP for a while now and I’ve used it in almost every role I’ve possessed on SRP, most notably the EMS. I was part of the EMS from around September-December of last year and I’ve drastically improved my vocabulary and skills when it comes to DetailRP. I’ve also developed a good understanding of how EMS actions look like and how the EMS works generally.
What is your motivation to apply for EMS and how will you benefit our current team?:
I’d like to finally retry the EMS faction. Ever since my last unfortunate demotion, I haven’t really gotten a chance at a second shot. Throughout the time of my absence from the faction, I’ve worked on my attitude and behaviour when it comes to respecting my fellow faction members. I assure that the past mistakes will not re-occur and I’ll keep a clean record during my time on.
Furthermore, I’d like to re-possess a role I’ve previously excelled at and explore all the new changes made to the faction. As previously mentioned, It’s been a long while since the last time I’ve been part of the EMS and I’m looking forward to seeing all the updates in action for myself.
Which medical role are you applying for? (e.g: Surgeon, Doctor, Psychiatrist):
I’m applying for the role of Surgeon.
Specify your knowledge for the role you’re applying for:
The Surgeon role holds the responsibility of carrying out dangerous procedures and surgeries which a normal Doctor would otherwise not be able to. These could be things like prosthetic surgeries, eye surgeries, heart surgeries, etc.. . They’re provided with specialized equipment for their work that other hospital roles do not possess. A surgeon begins off as a trainee and once they pass their training, they get promoted to an attending surgeon. From there, they can become a Head Surgeon and move all the way to Clinical Lead.
Categorize all the functions of the EMS and tell us what each of them does:
DIRECTOR: Very self-explanatory. The Director role directs the hospital making sure everything is in proper working order and everyone is carrying out their jobs correctly & efficiently.
CLINICAL LEAD: There are 3 clinical leads, one for each department. The Clinical Lead holds the job of leading their respective departments, overseeing them and making sure everything is running well. They must then report their notices to the Hospital Director.
HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT: The head of a department carries similar jobs to that of the Clinical Lead when it comes to overseeing a department. They also assist in training the trainees of their department along with the CL.
ATTENDING S/D/PS: The Attending (S/D/PS) role is simply a lesser-version of the head of the department where they also help out in training the new trainees but they do not hold as much privilege as any of the roles above them. Most notably, the HD & CL.
SURGEON: The Surgeon is the one responsible for carrying out all the difficult procedures/surgeries that a Doctor or Psych wouldn’t be able to do like prosthetic surgeries, eye surgeries, heart surgeries, etc. In such situations, a surgeon must be called immediately. However, Doctors may carry out emergency surgeries if a Surgeon is unavailable.
DOCTOR: Doctors are the ones that carry out simpler tasks that aren’t as difficult/emergent as the ones that the Surgeon carries out. Those could range from things like casting a leg/arm, treating a broken nose, baby delivery, stitching, etc. As previously mentioned, they may carry out emergency surgeries in the absence of a Surgeon.
PSYCHIATRIST: Their job mainly involves treating patients with mental health issues. They give them therapy, diagnose them, and prescribe them different medicine for their mental health issues according to what they suffer from. Moreover, they're able to do group therapy to treat multiple patients at the same time and prescribe them all with medicine.

CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Tell us about your character; how do they look, what makes them unique?
Harvey would be a tall, quite normal looking Irish lad standing at a height of 6’0. He’d have ginger hair and hazel-brown eyes that compliment his pale white skin. Freckles would splatter all over his nose and cheeks and he’d usually be seen wearing grey earrings.
What are they like on and off the job?
On the job, Harvey remains focused and professional. He acknowledges how the slightest mistake in his job could cost somebody’s life. Therefore, he likes to maintain a focused, careful and confident attitude when working to ensure the success of each of his procedures.
Off the job, Harvey is very calm and collected. He enjoys spending time reading books or watching TV shows. He often contacts his family in Ireland to check up on them and update them on his life in Japan.
Outlook on their co-workers? Plans for the future?
Harvey looks forward to meeting all his new co-workers and fellow surgeons and to working with them. He also looks forward to making a home for himself at the Karakura Hospital and building a strong relationship and link between himself and his co-workers.
He aims to achieve greatness at the Hospital and become a successful surgeon known for his many successful surgeries and general good work ethic.

BACKSTORY
In Dublin, 1989, a young Irish youngling by the name of Harvey was born in Beaumont Hospital. Surrounded by his family, he witnesses his first moments of his new life living near the coast of the Irish Sea. He grew up in Artane, Dublin where he received his basic education in his local primary school. Harvey was a special kid. Even though he was rather quiet and seemed unusual, he was quite the intelligent boy and excelled in the majority of his subjects as a kid. He showed great potential and was on his way to success.
Fast forward a couple of years, Harvey is now a Highschool Senior and has just graduated, enrolling in the University of Dublin. He majored in Biology and Medical Studies. He graduated from the University with an impressive masters’ degree in both Biology and Medical Studies! His parents were really happy yet not surprised knowing the quality of someone like Harvey. With his newly acquired diplomas, he began working as a trainee surgeon at the Beaumont Hospital.. The hospital he was born in!
After around 8 years at the Beaumont Hospital, Harvey says his farewells to his co-workers as he plans to begin a new life in Karakura, Japan. Harvey also says goodbye to his parents who trust him to do his absolute best in Karakura. Harvey finally arrives in Karakura International Airport where he takes a cab heading for the shopping district. On his way there, he notices & hears an ambulance’s siren going off, rushing through the street in a hurry.. Harvey already knew what his next move was going to be.
Arriving at home, Harvey begins unpacking and settling down in his new apartment. He’s still pretty new to Japan as a whole, especially the Japanese language. Harvey starts learning Japanese on his favourite language-learning application, Duolingo! Harvey was thinking of applying for the Karakura Hospital but he still had a lot to learn about Japan. He spent 2 years of his life learning the Japanese language & understanding the customs of the Japanese people & culture. Finally, Harvey feels comfortable to apply for the Karakura Hospital. He begins writing his application before submitting it...
