R.I.P tailors cuz this is a new way of making SchoolRP skins!
P.S, getting tailoring is still better than this,
but yk.. If you can't afford it then you came to the right place.
Step one - Finding a base.
Finding a base is pretty easy. Click the following links to find a base of your preference.
Skindex
Skindex x2
Planet Minecraft
I would recommend going to Planet minecraft, because they have the best bases.
Remember, this is what a base looks like:
Anddd now it's time for the next step!
Step two - Reshading the base.
Alright, so this is pretty simple, though it takes a long time.
Now we're going to reshade the base. We're going to do this to prevent everyone having the same base..
I would recommend using these skin editing softwares:
PMCSkin3D - Website
BlockBench - Software
Skindex - Website
Now you probably don't know how to reshade,
well not to worry because ThatDealer is here.
The first step to reshade is to first,
change up the colours.
Change it to any skin shade you want to.
This is the finished result for my colour reshade:
I reshaded the example of a base by the way.
And now we're going to add a little bit of hair, adjust the eye colour.
So onto the next step!
Step three - Adding hair
Now for hair, it's probably one of the hardest parts of making a skin.
And thats why Im just going to add a few links to bases of hair:
Hair base 1 - Female
Hair base 2 - Male
Hair base 3 - Female
Hair base 4 - Male
You might have noticed I made them gray scale, this is so you can easily change them into any colour you would like.
Now first choose a base of your liking,
Im going to personally use
"Hair base 1"
And I'm going to make it kind of a light brownish hair.
Andd here are the results:
Alright, and now we're going to combine my base with the hair.
Step four - Combining the two skins.
Now for this I'm going to use a website called:
"Nova skins"
Just drag the two skins into the website and click
"Save" on the top right of your screen.
And then just save the texture as an image.
And this is my final results of the skin:
It looks a bit weird, though It would probably look better with an outfit on.
Andd next step.
Step five - Getting an outfit
Getting an outfit is pretty easy,
Just use Free To Use skins.
Here's
a list of FTU outfits I found on planet minecraft.
FTU 1
FTU 2
FTU 3
FTU 4
FTU 5
FTU 6
FTU 7
FTU 8
Andd now with combining one of the FTU skins with the base I have my final
result:
Now keep in mind that, this looks somewhat better to unshaded or skins you find off of skindex, you will always get a better base from tailoring.
Anyways, thank you for reading this guide! I hope it helped you.
