Describe your activity on the server:
I'd say my activity ranges depending on my availability and how free I am throughout the week. As of lately, my activity has decreased in the slightest due to college starting up. Despite this, my general activity remains how it was for the most part. I frequently log on at least every other day, either roleplaying or doing my own thing.

TRIVIA QUESTIONS
What is the student council and what do they do?:
The student council is a group of students appointed to represent their peers and work collaboratively to improve the school's community. Their responsibilities and activities vary. They are responsible for helping solve on campus conflicts, as well as creating and pitching ideas for future school events for everyone to enjoy. Overall, the student council is deemed necessary, and important for other students, and faculty to feel safe and secure throughout the day.
What motivated you to apply for council? (e.g. Interests, friends, etc.):
Previously, I have been on student council about a year ago, but unfortunately didn't stay in it for too long because of some issues that had come up. Although, I have now found some new motivation to apply and stick with it. During my time on SRP, I have mainly been on sports teams, and I have decided that I want to try something different. From an OOC perspective, I love planning ideas, whether that'd be for an event or something else, it's always been something I've personally been interested in. Being apart of the student council would not only boost my creativity to the max, but it'd also allow me to expand my roleplay experiences with other people.
Are you aware that you’ll be having to use your creativity and teamwork ethic within the student council? (e.g. Coming up and helping with events):

Can you list the roles in the council along with other roles that might be important to the council?:
President:
They are the highest-ranking members within the council. They're solely in charge of overseeing the council as well as the members, and most importantly ensuring that everyone is doing their job correctly. These individuals earn their position through hard work and dedication.
Vice Presidents:
They are the second-highest ranking members within the council. They assist the president in overseeing the rest of the council, further ensuring that everything is being done correctly, and nobody is doing what they're not supposed to do.
Council Members:
They are the members of the council. They have quite a few responsibilities, one of them including patrolling the school in order to ensure that no fights are breaking out, and if there are, including small conflicts, they are to figure out a solution that's deemed fit for the situation at hand. They also brainstorm, and pitch ideas for future events to ensure that all students and faculty have fun at school.

SCENARIOS
While students gather for a school assembly, one student behaves disruptively, causing a disturbance. How would you manage the situation to restore order effectively while minimizing any additional disruptions to the assembly?
Jae would pull the student aside, and firstly ask why they are causing a disturbance. If all goes well, she'd issue a verbal warning, and tell them to lower their tone and or abstain themselves as best as they can. If this doesn't go as to plan, Jae would radio faculty and inform them that she needs help dealing with the student.
A student refuses to take their mask off after you’ve brought up detention and they’ve run away! What do you do?
Other than remaining calm, Jae would radio faculty with the description of the student. If the student returns, Jae would talk to the student and ask why they ran away and why they feel the need to wear a mask on campus. If this doesn't go well, she would radio faculty once more, and possibly get SLT involved if absolutely necessary.
A teacher observes concerning behavior from a student, including the creation of disturbing artwork and verbal threats toward peers. How would you collaborate with the teacher to evaluate the situation and intervene appropriately to address potential safety concerns?
Without any judgement, Jae would pull the student aside and simply ask them why they did what they did. She would then ask the teacher to show the artwork, and have a collective conversation with both the teacher and the student, to somehow come down a conclusion and fix what had happened.
A group of students asks for your permission to stage a protest on school grounds. Would you allow them to protest? If so, how do you ensure that the protest does not disrupt the school environment while upholding their freedom of expression?
Firstly, Jae would discuss with the group of students about what they would specifically be protesting about and how it would happen, and if it all seems reasonable and safe, she'd allow them to go through with it. She would make sure it wouldn't be in any location near classrooms, where teachers and other students may be disturbed, and instead, persuade them to protest in a more open area with a lot of room.
A teacher/receptionist has told you that you are doing something that goes against what you were trained by your higher-ups. How would you react to this?
She would ask what went wrong and what she can do to fix her wrongdoings including apologizing to both the faculty member involved and her fellow council members if necessary. With criticism and verbal warnings, Jae would take these factors into deep consideration so something similar wouldn't happen again in the future.
Please provide at least one detailed event that the council can use as a future event to showcase your creativity! (Must be 300 words or more for one event):
"Creative Carnival"
A school-wide event designed to showcase and celebrate the diverse creative talent of all students. This event will include live performances, interactive workshops, and creative challenges, providing students with an opportunity to express themselves and share their passions with others. This event aims to foster a sense of community, encourage collaboration, and highlight the importance of expressing creativity with other peers.
Live Performances:
• A stage set up in the auditorium or outdoor area for live performances featuring music with solo and group performances, which consist of singing, instrumental music, and bands.
• Dances performed by dance groups or individuals in various styles, (cheer, hip-hop, contemporary, etc.).
• Drama scenarios, consisting of short skits, monologues, or improv performances by those interested.
• Spoken word and poetry, created by those interested.
Creative Workshops:
• Creative writing to express different forms of storytelling, poetry, and much more.
• Photography and learning the basics of how to take a good photo, including composition and lighting.
Fashion and Design Show:
• A runway show featuring fashion and design projects created by students. This could include clothing, accessories, and more. Students can create and model their own designs with their fellow classmates.
Interactive Installations and Games:
• A photo both with a cool looking, scenic background where people can gather around with their friends to take cute photos to post on Onrain.
• An escape room created on campus, where students and faculty can both work collaboratively with one another to solve puzzles, in order to "escape" and complete the escape room challenge.
Of course, keeping in mind that not all of these events would be entirely possible because of how limited we are since it's a roleplay server, but by keeping this in mind we can figure out ways to work around these inevitable factors at hand.

Personal Information
(in character)
Name:
Jae Shinazugawa
Gender:
Female
Age:
18
Phone number:
030-860-7425
How would you describe your personality?:
"I'd say I'm quite calm and collected, and can handle things easily without getting too overwhelmed and stressed out no matter the circumstances. I have a lot of patience, and I will always take into consideration that there are going to be two or more sides of the story depending on the situation at hand. If things go wrong, I'm going to be more than determined to make things right no matter what it takes."
"On my own, I'm usually very quiet and reserved. I don't like making my voice too known out there because I'm personally a little afraid of judgement. I'm more of a listener than a speaker, which means I care a lot about what people think and their personal perspectives on certain things."
Appearance/attire (Please provide a picture):
What separates you from other applicants seeking your position?:
"I think what sets me apart is that not only am I a new face, but I am welcome to hearing others ideas and learn new things. I have a ton of motivation to make sure that I fulfill my potential job as a councilor, and will make sure that I put in all of the work that's necessary to help the student council and the rest of the school community thrive."
Why do you want this position?:
"I enjoy helping people and coming up with ideas to help create events. I feel like if I were to apart of the student council, I'd be able to boost my confidence more, as well as allowing my creativity to branch out more. I admire how involved the student council is with faculty, and other students, when it comes to school events and helping those in need."
What interests you the most about student council?:
"What interests me the most about student council is the amount of work that these councilors put into the school. Whether that'd be with school wide events, helping solve minor to major on campus conflicts, assisting faculty with what they need, and more."
What could you contribute to make the school a safe and fun environment?:
"As I have stated, I'm a very good listener. I'm not one to jump to conclusions and refuse to hear one side of the story when I know there's more than just one no matter what the situation is if it involves two or more people. I will make sure that I'm a safe space to those students who don't feel seen, or simply just need someone to talk to when necessary."
