Describe your activity on the server:
I’ve been very active currently and plan to keep the streak up. Although I am mostly AFK in-game when there’s no content aka school & classes, I’d usually be on my PC and check my Minecraft every so often so my character doesn’t get into AFK mode. It should be pretty easy to get my attention both ICLY and OOCLY. If not, I always have my discord up and running so it should be easy to reach out to me OOCLY.

[Grade 12] Satoshi Takae (APPLYING)
Are you aware that inactivity can result in removal from the council?:
Yes. I will personally notify if I ever decide to stop playing.

TRIVIA QUESTIONS
What is the student council and what do they do?:
A student council is a group of students who are chosen to represent the other students in their school. They work together to make the school a better place and to plan fun activities. Members of the student council listen to what other students want and try to make those things happen. They also help solve problems and come up with ideas to improve the school. It’s like a team of students who help lead and make decisions for their school community.
Key functions of a student council include:
- Representing students
Council members act as the voice of the students, bringing up ideas and concerns in meetings with school administrators and teachers.
- Organizing events
The student council plans and organizes various activities and events to promote school spirit and unity.
- Improving school life
They aim to enhance the school environment and make it a better place for everyone.
Overall, the student council plays an important role in creating a positive and engaging school community.
What motivated you to apply for council? (e.g. Interests, friends, etc.):
I have always wanted to create a new character and engage more in roleplaying, that’s how having a student council character came into mind. I am also simply looking to get more experience in the server and also hope to be able to help others as well.
Also, being part of the European side of players, I noticed during the early hours, that there usually aren’t many, if not none, school staff members online. So I might be able to contribute more to the school side of things.
Are you aware that you’ll be having to use your creativity and teamwork ethic within the student council? (e.g. Coming up and helping with events):
As a veteran roleplayer and D&D player, throwing ideas and helping out has always been my main forte. I’ve made many characters and world buildings with friends and suggested ideas left and right while also trying to make it something more interesting and not just basic stuff. Both ICLY & OOCLY, I’d be happy and willing to help out to the best of my ability.
Can you list the roles in the council along with other roles that might be important to the council?:
President

SCENARIOS
While students gather for a school assembly, one student behaves disruptively, causing a disturbance. How would you manage the situation to restore order effectively while minimizing any additional disruptions to the assembly?
I will make sure to tend to them personally and get them to come with me away from the crowd. Following that, I will ask them questions like asking if there is something wrong or why they are doing what they are doing. I will make sure to open both my ears wide in order to thoroughly hear their reasoning. Whether their explanation is something or nothing, I will recommend that they tone it down because it is disruptive and may cause others to look down on them. This after all should be a safe space for everyone, including them.
A student refuses to take their mask off after you’ve brought up detention and they’ve run away! What do you do?
With my photographic memory, it shouldn’t be difficult for me to take in their appearance. Though their face might be covered, their build, skin color, hair, and attire aren’t. But if I must, I will make sure there are cameras around and take a picture of said student before running after them. If worse comes to worst and I lose them, I will contact the school staff or another student council to keep an eye out for the descriptions I provide them and hope to work together to find the student.
A teacher observes concerning behavior from a student, including the creation of disturbing artwork and verbal threats toward peers. How would you collaborate with the teacher to evaluate the situation and intervene appropriately to address potential safety concerns?
Rather than jumping right into action, I think we should first ask the student in question if there is any explanation for why they did what they did. Never assume that a child was born troublesome, there is always a reason for that. I'll personally make an effort to mentor that particular student, telling them that they shouldn't have to be misbehaving and that the school grounds are a safe place for both them and everyone else.
A group of students asks for your permission to stage a protest on school grounds. Would you allow them to protest? If so, how do you ensure that the protest does not disrupt the school environment while upholding their freedom of expression?
While I understand that they have their own personal view on things, I will kindly suggest they refrain from doing so as not everyone will agree, therefore causing more trouble and disturbance on the school grounds. Everyone should have freedom of speech, but students can do it without staging a protest. They can instead suggest to other students to do the right thing through peace without causing unnecessary disturbances.
A teacher/receptionist has told you that you are doing something that goes against what you were trained by your higher-ups. How would you react to this?
I'm more than willing to apologize for my disruptive behavior. I shall understand that my actions have repercussions, and I'm willing to accept the necessary punishment as I will consider it crucial to my growth as a person. I'm committed to making the most of this opportunity to better myself, and I'll make sure to recognize how crucial it is to consider the consequences of my choices in the future.
Please provide at least one detailed event that the council can use as a future event to showcase your creativity! (Must be 300 words or more for one event):
I present to you, A schoolwide escape room. This event transforms the entire school into a series of themed rooms and areas, each with its own unique puzzles and challenges. Teams of students, guided by clues and tasked with solving mysteries, must work together to ‘escape’ each room and reach the ‘exit’
When it comes to event structure, three steps come to mind.
- Preparation
- Themes and Rooms: The classes and areas will be transformed into different themes, for example: haunted library, time-traveling classroom, pirate-themed cafeteria, medieval-themed classroom, and so on.
- Puzzles and Challenges: Each themed room will have a set of puzzles and challenges related to the theme. The puzzles might include riddles, logic problems, or even team-building activities.
- Teams
- The students will form teams of 8 members, with each team representing a mix of grades to encourage cross-grade collaboration.
- Each team then will be given different maps and initial clues to start their journeys.
- Gameplay
- All students will gather at the baseball field, in rows respecting to their grades. The game master will then pick two from each grade, creating a party of 8.
- Once started, The teams must then go to their respective clues.
- The first team to solve the final challenge and ‘exit’ is declared the winner and awarded the "Escape Quest Champions" title along with prizes. (The final challenge will be the same for every team}
Not only would this event be fun and interactive, but it is also a great opportunity for students to engage more and contribute to teamwork. This event will test and improve their critical thinking and problem-solving for the future.
Personal Information
(in character)
Name: Satoshi Takae
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Phone number: (030)--830-9709
How would you describe your personality?:
I consider myself to be orderly and meticulous, and I really think that everyone needs assistance in planning their future in order to be well-rounded. I find that I take pleasure in keeping things neat and organized and have a natural ability to notice even the smallest details. This applies to everything, including my personal belongings, my workspace, and even the objects and actions of others. Although my attention to detail may occasionally overwhelm some individuals, I believe it adds to a more structured and productive environment for all parties.
When it comes to interaction, I always try my best to stay calm and not get irritated by things, whether it be small or big. I would always try to provide the best solution, by giving advice on what more they could do to ensure their bright future. With that in mind, it’s easy for me to join in on conversations and aid those who need it whenever I see one. I am also not the person to back out so easily, I will always try my hardest to reach the goal I am trying to achieve, no matter the obstacles.
Appearance/attire (Please provide a picture):
What separates you from other applicants seeking your position?:
I believe that in order to maintain peace and order in the school, there must be someone who actively guides the students at all times and keeps them in check. I am more than willing to take on that position, by keeping an eye on and controlling the behavior of all students. Although some could view this as an authoritarian stance, I believe it to be an essential step in creating a peaceful and safe learning atmosphere. I have faith in my abilities to inspire and guide them to reach their full potential.
Why do you want this position?:
I am aware that following regulations might occasionally feel unjust or oppressive. But I think that having me around will make sure they realize how important it is to abide by the rules. I will ensure that students view the rules as instructions for building a great future for themselves rather than something to be afraid of. Hopefully, this will help them to appreciate the structure and discipline that rules offer and keep everyone in check so the school grounds stay safe and positive.
What interests you the most about student council?:
Besides keeping things in order, stuff such as organizing events, creating opportunities for students, or finding new ways to improve the school experience is what I’m looking forward to the most. Creating events not only breaks up the repetitive schedule of school, but it is also a great way to ensure everybody’s entertainment and keep everyone involved at the same time. Events are also a great way for students to connect and possibly make friends with the same interests. Plus, it's a great way to develop important skills like communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. In short, being part of the student council is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact and grow as a person.
What could you contribute to make the school a safe and fun environment?:
As mentioned above, I will make sure to guide the students in seeing rules as a tool to achieve their bright futures. To do this, I am committed to checking up on them at all times, even if it means going through every corner of the school.
