I cant choose if the water wets itself when it comes into contact with a wet surface or if it wets the surface more.
Can water even be wet? Or does it wet things?
Can an already wet object be more wet or is it already as wet as can be?
Can water become wet or does it just grow in size?
If a table is wet... can you still wet it? Or is it now immune.
We need answers people.

There are a few answers to this age old question; 'Is water wet?'

well, let's take the time to ask ourselves, what defines wet.

If you define wet as the sensation of a liquid touching a solid surface(if that would mean a table top or your skin), then yes water is wet.

But if you define wet as water being made up moisture or liquid material, then yes again. Water is wet.

But let's flip the table; liquids aren't considered wet and one makes a object wet is depending on how much water is touching a surface. It's much like is a glass is half full or half empty.

Water also doesn't grow in size if there aren't other water particles nearby that it can come into contact with. Say you have a bowl and a cup. The water you filled in the cup is about half way, pour that into the bowl and it may only cover a quarter of it. But this also depends on the height, length, and width of the cup/bowl. It's the same amount of liquid, say you pour it over a table. It's still the same amount of liquid.

Did I spend time trying to explain this, yes. Was I bored? Equally yes
