How does your character know it?:
Chiyo was born in Paris, France, when she was around 5, she started wondering how to speak French since her parents always spoke it. Her mother was a French teacher, so she sat down with her mother each day after school while her mother taught her French. She studied very hard and her mother gave her tests on their language. Her and her mother bonded very well during those moments, so they started having French conversations as some of the tests to see how fluent she can speak French and she passed all of them. Till this day she speaks fluent French.
