What experiences do you have with Detail RP?:
I am very good at Detail RP as I have built up years of experience on this server through activities such as GangRP on other characters and such. I had also been a member on the Spartan Track Team on my Clockwcrks account which had required me to do multiple different variations of accurate stretches and pre-run / long jump exercises which has made me very proficient in this area. I have played on this server for the further end of a year and a half across my two accounts and I have garnered knowledge of how different injuries will affect a person's character. For example, jumping/falling off a ledge/balcony generally results in broken bones, and amputated limbs having to be reattached directly after an incident has occurred, Otherwise resulting in the loss of possibility of the limb being reattached, In the event that this has occurred the user will have to don a prosthetic limb and add this to their description.
What is your motivation to apply for EMS and how will you benefit our current team?:
I wish to join The EMS team so that we will have more available doctors online when it is required. as I have noticed recently that the EMS team seems rather short staffed and with any luck I wish to join the ems team so that people will be able to continue with RP situations without having to SkipRP their injury / inconvenience due to the shortage of EMS online hand which can aid in fixing their problem. I also have an interest joining EMS as I enjoy doing Detail RP and being able to talk to people so joining EMS ticks all the boxes. I am fairly well versed when it comes to taking care of injuries. For example, if someone has a puncture wound from something such as a knife, it is best sanitize quickly before doing anything as to not cause an infection in the wound, then you would keep light pressure on the wound as it will allow blood clots to form which will assist in controlling the bleeding. once this has been done the wound is cleaned and an antibiotic such as Neosporin is applied. the wound would then have a gauze pad placed on it and then be temporarily dressed with a primary layer of bandages by the doctor / nurse, if the wound bleeds through these bandages a secondary maybe even tertiary layer of bandages would be used. once the wound had been wrapped up as to stop the bleeding they would be taken in for an X-ray scan to make sure nothing would be left inside the person from the puncture wound before they would then generally be passed on to a surgeon which would take out any foreign objects if they were detected before stitching the wounds up with most often, dissolvable sutures.

I am going to be applying for the Doctor role as it best fits what I am looking for in the EMS services.

From my knowledge, a doctor is one of the first points of contact with a patient. they help diagnose exactly what is wrong with a patient and interact with them so that they will be able to assist in fixing their problem. Doctors mostly specialize in problems such as dislocated or broken bones or unknown discomforts which a patient comes in with. when diagnosing these problems they interact with their patient such as asking them where their pain is, what happened prior to it hurting or how badly it hurts. this helps them find out what it is which is currently affecting their patient and how they may be able to help fix this. Such as if the patient had dislocated a shoulder they may look for any external bruising around the wound and ask the patient to move their arm. if they can move their arm they will know that it is not broken and is in fact dislocated. They can then use this information to relocate the shoulder, causing as little pain as possible to the patient.
Categorize all the functions of the EMS and tell us what each of them does:
Medical Director
The medical director is the highest position in the hospital ground and their job is to oversee all of the staff in the hospital to ensure they are keeping on top of the work they are given and to make sure that this work is conducted to standard in an ethical manor, following the set guidelines which all members of staff must follow. On top of making sure all work is kept on top of they will host staff training which will allow employees of all types such as surgeons and psychiatrists to gain more experience in their field which will in turn allow them to be able to deal with more obscure problems if they come their way.
Doctor
The role of a doctor as stated before is to be the first point of contact with a patient. they are there to help diagnose a problem before the person who needs medical attention is treated. Doctors interact with their patient to find exactly what is wrong with them by asking related questions and looking for any visual symptoms which may help with their diagnosis. Once the problem is apparent they will decide if they will be able to fix that problem with their knowledge, if they are they will attempt to treat the person to the best of their ability and if they are not for example somebody needing surgery, they will direct that person to somebody who will be able to fix the problem they need to be fixed such as a surgeon.
Surgeon
A surgeon's job is to deal with most of the problems which a doctor would not be able to. such as severed limbs or a puncture wound. a surgeon will generally perform operations on their patient to repair replace or remove affected parts of the body. a surgeon will also sometimes take on more administrative roles such as teaching other employees in the work place. an example of something which a surgeon may be tasked to fix is a deep laceration which they will need to disinfect and use antibiotics to stop profuse bleeding before looking for any organ damage. if there is no organ damage they are free to suture the person's laceration and wait for the wound to heal. A surgeon is generally more specialist than a doctor as they have to work with precision as one mistake could very well cost someone their life.
Nurse
A Nurse will generally work along side a doctor assisting in taking care of a patient while they are being treated. they will help conduct physical exams on their patient while communicating with them to ensure they receive the most accurate treatment available to them at that time. This is very helpful to a doctor as they will be able to communicate and coordinate while performing their duties to ensure no unexpected problems occur. Nurses may also help with more of the medicinal side of the work place allowing patients who need a specific medicine to receive it on prescription
Psychiatrist
Psychiatrists are there to help with any psychological problems a person may be having. Say if someone has depression, they will talk to their patient and try to get to the root of why they feel that way. they will emotionally support the patient and will attempt to make them feel better by giving them a person to talk to. If the person still shows similar behavior to when they first came to the hospital they may give them a routine plan to help them fix their issue or may suggest a medication such as in the case of depression, Prozac may be a choice.

CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Tell us about your character; how do they look, what makes them unique?
This seemingly large male would have very calloused hands which were hard to the touch. He'd be 6'7 with an unkempt mess of green wavy hair. He would appear muscular bodied with a tattoo of a Hollow Sun on his broad shoulder. The male would be heavy at 242 lbs and would have a wide scar running along his right arm from where it was seemingly chopped. He would smell like a mixture of sandalwood and smoke, these smells of which would linger around him. donning some old leather boots which were scuffed, Perhaps he was quite athletic in school!
What are they like on and off the job?
On the job, Joe would wear a white doctor's coat over his large frame smelling heavily of sandalwood deodorant, likely in attempt to mask another smell. He would appear rather professional and put together to the naked eye. That's if, you didn't know him outside the work place. On the street Joe would likely be seen wearing a black tank top displaying a large tattoo on his shoulder with a lazily put together outfit of a blue hoodie draping from his forearms and baggy green pants. He'd generally have a large Cuban cigar in his mouth, puffing like a chimney, appearing like a textbook example of a ruffian. However he would be rather welcoming to those who would wish to talk to him, greeting them with a smile and a pleasant conversation. He would wash his clothes every day after going to the gym in attempt to remove the smell of smoke yet some lingered in his everyday attire.
Outlook on their co-workers? Plans for the future?
Joe would be respectful of his co-workers, knowing that they put in hours of effort every day to help people in need. He would work hard at his duties in the work place as to not fall behind his colleagues in work flow! Maintaining a calm mood, he would get on with his work assisting the people he works with if help were to be requested from them. Joe's plans for the future would just be to maintain his position in his career while learning new medical information from his colleagues along the way. He would know that there is always somebody better than him, and so he would take time to ask those people how to do things which have him puzzled.
Does your character have any past / current mental and or physical illnesses we should take acknowledgment to?
Joe Aberra does not have any mental illnesses which may be a detriment to his health or the work place. However he had his right arm severed at a point in time which damaged his nerves resulting in him having a slightly shaky right hand. This will not be much of a problem though due to him being dominant with his left hand.
BACKSTORY

This man's story started in South Africa. His childhood was a blessed one as he lived in peace without any conflict for the majority of his life. He lived free of drugs and any other sort of harm which was around him. However due to certain circumstances in his homeland, he had no other choice but to move from his home country at the age of 17 due to the increasing threat of a natural disaster occurring. He sat down and thought over night as to where he would possibly go! If he were to choose anywhere in the world to settle down and lead a fulfilling life where would he go!? That's when he decided he wished to go to Japan.
This country had a booming economy. He would hardly have to worry about money as long as he worked out how to get it. This much was true at first. He was able to secure an apartment and get it decorated nicely how he liked it. However this later took a large blow to his finances. He bought it too early... There was no longer any life of luxury with enough money to live comfortably. This lead to him leading a rather trashy unmotivated life style, getting into one or two fights. one of which he had his right arm chopped off!
He had gone to the hospital after he was found by a passer-by and had it surgically reattached by a professional surgeon. regaining most of his mobility and feeling within the year. However he was still paying his rent yet living in his apartment rather like a slob. a stranger later introduced him to the pleasures of smoking and that was even more taxing on his pocket as he became addicted. All of a sudden, he had no money left! His pockets had ran dry! Realizing this Joe had rifled through his pockets, draws, cupboards ANYTHING in search of money. It was then he realized, he wasn't doing anything with his life... He had become a complete and utter shut in.
But in this trough in his life he found a new spark, Joe had a dream he was dead set on making reality! He began making more money, doing better in school! Hitting the gym! making small goals for himself which he was able to achieve. He had gotten a tattoo at a parlour as a symbol of this new found motivation when he turned 20 and had put on far more muscle, graduating from college with a masters degree later on at the age of 23. Some small habits he still hasn't broken such as smoking and a rather sub par sense of fashion, yet now at the age of 27 he has applied for a job he spent his life in Karakura longing for, being a member of the EMS.
