It keeps crashing after i downloaded the texture pack

Basically the game worked just fine until it said "The server requests for you to download the texture pack" I did so and it just kept lagging my game BAAAAAAD. After like 5 minutes it finally loads to show me a second of the game before forcefully kicking me out.

The Newest update is laggy, I'd recommend stay off it and goto the previous version

The 1.12.2 version is the most recommended.

I’m having the same issue, I have tried to open the server on both 1.12.2 and .1 but after clicking yes to the custom resource pack, I enter the server for a split second before freezing and being disconnected automatically. Someone help as I am very excited to play on this server
