What are your current roles on the server?:
A bit complicated. I resigned from teaching but I didnt lose my role since August. I would say im an adult rank.

Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:

In a general basis, teachers are vital because they serve as role models, mentors, and a strong support system for their students. Through their actions and attitudes, teachers demonstrate values like respect, perseverance, and integrity, inspiring students to adopt these qualities in their own lives. They also provide mentorship, guiding students through challenges, helping them discover their passions, and encouraging them to set meaningful goals. Beyond academics, teachers offer emotional and social support, helping students navigate difficult moments and build resilience. This combination of influence and encouragement has a lasting impact, shaping confident and well-rounded individuals who can contribute positively to society. This also similarly applies to the SRP server, where teachers also play this role in a slightly different manner.

Teachers play a crucial role in the SRP server, not only as educators but also as key figures in shaping the experiences and development of high school and college students. IC reasons highlight their importance as guides who provide structure and purpose to the lives of students, helping them navigate the challenges of both school and broader roleplay. Since high school students make up the majority of Karakura’s population, teachers serve as the primary means through which these students learn vital lessons and core skills, ranging from academic knowledge to the application of various commands and OOC content in roleplay scenarios. Their influence ensures that students have a well-rounded experience, allowing them to grow within the server’s environment.

HS students are often highly motivated to further their character development within the server. Teachers play an integral role in this process by introducing the new system of homework and class activities to earn reward tokens, designed to help enhance the roleplay experience for the newer players. By preparing students for college exams and helping them build knowledge for other experiences, teachers significantly contribute to their progression and opportunities for advancement. This preparation not only helps personal rp growth but also deepens the students' engagement with the server’s systems, encouraging them to take on greater challenges and responsibilities. In this way, teachers act as turning points for student success, ensuring that education is both a meaningful, fun and impactful part of SRP.

Her long, silky reddish-brown, fire-like hair runs down her back, with delicate green and white floral accents that give her an enchanting, earthy charm. Her almond-shaped green eyes shimmer with warmth and curiosity, like a vibrant meadow, just like the meaning of her name. Florina, which has a Romansh origin, carries the meaning of flower or a bloom.

Florina’s outfit reflects an elegant yet down-to-earth style. She wears an off white blouse with long, slightly puffed sleeves, tucked neatly into chic black overalls that d**** to her ankles. The contrast between the clean white and deep black highlights her timeless and polished fashion sense. Her shoes, simple yet refined, are white with subtle details that tie her ensemble together. Her outlook on students:
Miss Duval has a nurturing and optimistic outlook on both her students. She genuinely believes in the potential of every student, seeing them as young minds in need of care and guidance to bloom, much like her name. She’s patient and understanding, always encouraging growth rather than perfection. When a student struggles, she doesnt see failure, more like she sees an opportunity to help them learn and thrive. Florina finds joy in their small victories, whether it’s a student mastering a concept or simply finding confidence in themselves.

Her outlook on coworkers:
Florina is equally warm and supportive. She values collaboration and is the type to quietly lend a hand without expecting recognition as she isnt one for the spotlight. She sees her colleagues as a team working toward a common goal, and she’s quick to offer a kind word or a listening ear when someone’s having a rough day. Florina doesnt involve herself in workplace drama, preferring instead to focus on fostering positive relationships and uplifting those around her. She also usually appreciates when her colleagues call her by her first name, it lets her feel as though theyre getting closer with eachother.

What is your character's motivation for teaching?:

Florina initially dreamed of becoming a botanical scientist after graduating from Collège Champittet, her secondary school in Switzerland. Surprizingly, her plans took off when her father mentioned the growing demand for biologists in Karakura. Seeing an opportunity, she quickly packed her belongings and booked a flight.

Upon gaining citizenship, Florina secured a position as a botanical scientist, a role she had worked hard to achieve. One day, while going about her work, she encountered a curious 13-year-old girl who reminded her of herself at that age who was bright-eyed and full of questions. Something in Florina sparkeed that day. She realized she wanted to do more than just research, she wanted to inspire and educate young minds about the wonders of biology and plants.

When she learned that Karakura Academy was hiring, she wasted no time. Florina polished her resume, drafted an application letter, and immediately submitted it to the headmaster, Mr. Saiky, hoping to begin this new chapter as a teacher.

A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:

Florina, with her nurturing and maternal nature, understands that not every student understands topics or subjects at the same pace. To help those who may struggle, she takes a thoughtful approach. After finishing her lesson with the rest of the class, she discreetly approaches the student in need, guiding them through the material step by step until they understand.
If they still find the topic challenging or want additional clarity, Miss Duval warmly offers to meet during lunch in the library for extra help.

A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:

She'd be writing her notes lightly on the whiteboard as she hears the student getting increasingly rowdy during the class. Florina would approach the situation calmly and with empathy. She would pause the class briefly to address the behavior, ensuring her tone remains composed and non-confrontational. Florina might say something like, “I can see you’re full of energy today, but let’s channel that into the lesson so everyone can stay focused.” before slowly turning back around to her whiteboard, however if they do persist, she would threaten with detention and if they don't listen- off to detention it is!

The Plant Pot ****ysis Project!
/me &d&oAs she opened the door to the rowdy and loud classroom- singular beams of light shining through the leaves of the trees, slightly blocking the classroom window, she seemed to struggle pushing the door. Florina pushed the door with her back, carrying a heavy potted flower, basked in her two arms. She waddled to her desk with her flower, pushing the door back closed with her tiny feet. The class' volume lowered significantly, before she softly spoke, &f"Good morning students! I do hope you had a filling breakfast!" &dshe said, slowly setting down the gigantic plant pot on her desk- &f"In today's class, we will be ****yzing each part of the plant! So get your gloves and lab equipment ready! We're doing a lab ****ysis!" &dbefore setting down the box filled to the brim with sterile gloves.

The Skeletal System!
/me &d&oThe class cheered and roared, waiting for Ms. Duval to open her cupboard to reveal the "treasure" as she called it. She approached the old, wooden cupboard before swinging it wide open, wheeling out a model of the skeletal system. The students all dropped their jaws in awe. Florina, hopped on top her desk with the skeleton, getting a birds eye view of the class, scanning everyone's faces before exclaiming- &f"Everyone! Come round!" &dThe students quickly ran to the desk. &f"Grab a bone from the model and go back to your desks!" &dEvery student claimed their own bone before hurrying back to their seats, eagerly awaiting the teacher's call. Duval took a quick sip of her steaming coffee before announcing, &f"Okay- you have 45 minutes to give me a good- detailed paragraph on each of the bones you chose! Use your phones, this will be going up for your final grade!" &dshe teased, before promptly taking a seat on the squeaky, black spinning chair, drinking her coffee peacefully, as the students mingled amongst themselves, getting their pencil to paper almost immediately!

The Trip to The Karakura Wildlife Sanctuary!
/me &d&oScreech!, The bus came to a halt, the students at the edge of their seats, as if theyd jump straight out of the window, just to get out. &f"Okay class! Does everyone have their belongings?" &dMiss Duval asked, before slowly standing up to scan the bus, just making sure that every student wouldn't leave anything in the vehicle. Duval took up her handbag and purse and quickly shuffled to the front of the bus before ordering everyone in an orderly, single-filed line before they exited the bus. The students quickly stepped off the bus and Florina, no later and they were all hit with a calming scent of the raw wild. She took a deep breath in, absorbing all the flora around her before clicking back to her senses- &f"Okay students! Get your insect repellent on! Follow me to our camp." &dbefore they began marching off, students bantering in the background before venturing off into the thick wildlife of the sanctuary.
