School Employee Role you are applying for?:
I am applying for the role of a Counselor.
In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
Counselors are considered an essential role when it comes to school. Their main duty is to guide and ensure the mental health and safety of the students, as well as their physical safety with each other. It is known that counselors are flexible, patient, and have an understanding mind as well. In addition, they provide counseling and assistance to students who are going through a rough time at school, regardless of whether it is bullying, family issues, anxiety or stress or if they are experiencing challenges or conflicts with other students. Counselors need to make sure that school is a safe and comfortable place for students to learn and keep a stable school record with their subjects, while also remaining alert on school grounds in case of any type of incident that occurs.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I have a bunch of experiences in role-play, considering myself as an old player, so throughout my journey in SchoolRP, i have gained experiences over and over. I have been a councillor on the server for about 4 times, and a journalist twice. I believe that due to my knowledge around school, made me gain experience in school roleplay in general. I have had a bunch of characters as well, which has also improved the way i act upon characters and how i play them differently.
Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
The reason for wanting to join the school employee faction is because i want to gain more role-playing experience, and learn about the school roles. I'd want to improve my skills in communication, problem-solving, and teamwork. Which is why I think that this position is the right choice for me. Another reason, is to help me develop my character's story in a meaningful way and provide her a chance to act on the role of a school employee. Wanting to join the school employee faction will allow me to contribute a positive and supportive atmosphere with other players. Furthermore, This would help me engage more with people, help students, give a hand to other school employees, and make it a better place with the experience and skills that I have gained as a role-player.

During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
Saori would be slightly confused at the student's words, but she would remain calm in this situation without showing any signs of anger on her face, she would be respectful and kind towards the student, keeping her face low and posture calm, to make sure that the student does not feel threatened. Saori would then ask them a question calmly "Are you feeling upset right now? I am here to listen if you are displeased by anything at school, or even about me!" also attempting to understand the student's point of view and prescriptive by nodding and listening to every word they say to make sure that they are heard. Saori would then ask them "Can you help me understand on why i am pathetic? It's okay to share your thoughts when you're mad about something!" Saori would listen no matter what or who this is about, letting the student know that she is here to provide support and care. she would also let the student know in a sweet tone to not use this kind of language towards employees or anyone in general.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
Saori would react swiftly since it is a serious physical fight, she'd immediately inform and call for assistance from her colleagues or any employees that are available, in case the situation would get out of hand. She'd approach towards the scene with no hesitation, firmly instructing the students "Stop right there!" from a safe distance, she'd try to position herself between the students, making effort to separate them carefully for no further conflict as it already was. She'd calmly escort both students to her office in a kind manner, she would discuss the incident with each student, attempting to understand how this all started. As she ended the discussion with both of them, she'd give both of them detention slips for fighting on school grounds, letting them know that it is indeed terrible to act recklessly and that it will lead them for further punishment.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Saori would be surprised about how the school employee is acting regarding the fact that every employee should be making the school a safe place. She would head over towards the employee quite disappointed and shocked, quite mad as well without showing any signs of it, she would be quite serious which would show on her face, she'd then ask the employee "What are you doing? Are you aware that this inappropriate act of yours can cause so much damage towards your image and towards the school?" Saori would try her best to understand what the employee was thinking! "As an employee, you should be aware that you have this job, to create a safe place for everyone here." With further notice, since then employee already acted recklessly and dangerously, Saori would not hesitate to call for authority or a higher rank assistance upon this act that she witnessed.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
In the employee break room, Saori would maintain a calm and approachable demeanor. She usually follows her own schedule, often taking a moment to unwind with a cup of coffee from the coffee machine in the room. She'd enjoy sitting down with her coffee, engaging in light, friendly conversations with her colleagues. She's attentive and genuinely interested in hearing about how everyone's day has been going so far, taking in a positive and supportive atmosphere. Saori might also take some time to review any notes or read articles related to counseling, reflecting ways to improve her practice. Her break is balanced between relaxation, reading, and social interaction.
Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:
/me would sit calmly in her office, offering a warm smile towards the student and saying, "It's great to see you today! Please, have a seat!" As the student begins to share their concerns, she'd listen attentively with full focus, nodding and taking notes along the way. She'd then respond in a soothing, supportive tone "I understand that this is tough for you, you have all my support though! We can do this step by step!" She'd then continue along with the conversation, providing solutions to the student to help them out.
/me would notice a student sitting alone and looking visibly upset. She'd approach the student gently, maintaining a respectful distance between her and the student, ensuring the student feels comfortable. She'd softly say "Hello there! I couldn't help but notice you seem a bit down today. Is there something on your mind that you'd like to talk about?" with a warm and encouraging tone, she would also offer a reassuring smile, making sure to listen attentively and patiently as she nodded in an understanding manner.
/me would see a group of students arguing loudly and physically pushing each other in the hallway. Saori would calmly approach the scene with a firm but gentle presence. She'd then raise her voice slightly to get everyone's attention, saying "Everyone here, how about we take a moment to calm down and talk this out. Fighting will not solve anything, It will only get you physically hurt." Stepping in between the students, addressing this to each student with a calm and respectful tone, saying "I understand you're upset with each other, but let's discuss what's going in a more quiet area, shall we?" guided the students to the seating area at the counselor's office. She'd begin listening to each student's perspective, asking questions to understand the conflict as she took notes, and communicated with them.

From a young age, both her parents took great care of her and invested all their resources into her education specefically. They enrolled her in various programs, bringing tutors to help her out. During her childhood, Saori was surrounded by a rich blend of Japanese tradition, along side other traditions that she experienced as she moved around cities a lot. That itself, made Saori experience every culture, and have an outstanding understanding of other traditions. As a result of this diverse environment from a young age, she was able to cultivate a sense of empathy and understanding for other people. During her teenage years at high school, she was known for her empathy and talent for listening to others, which is what her friends have said. She did succeed in making many friends, she was known as the social butterfly, which made her very popular among her classmates. Her interest in human behavior grew from a recognition that understanding people was an essential, yet often neglected, aspect of life.

There, she also provided support and guidance to teenagers facing various issues. Since, it is her passion to be able to help people as much as she could daily. This experience was profoundly rewarding to her which had opened her mind to the world around her. It also sparked her interest in counseling as a career, as she realized the impact she could have on young lives by providing the understanding and support she had often missed during her own childhood. After Saori graduated from univeristy, she went back to her hometown, Osaka and pursued her passion for helping others by searching for jobs around Osaka to gain experience. She became a social worker, a role she was deeply invested in and loved, where she worked there for three years. When her journey as a social worker ended, Saori decided it was time for a new chapter in a new city where she could finally pursue as a career as a counselor. Saori chose to move to Karakura, a place that is memorable for her during a previous visit. She knew it was the city of the future with a great deal of potential for her future. In order to pursue her passion, she moved to Karakura to start a new life as a counselor, eager to support and guide the students at Karakura High Scchool.
