Jenny ██████ Mond, daughter of Catherine Mond and ██████ ███ █████, originated from Germany and came to Japan alone in 2016 at the young age of 16 with very few items on hand. The reasoning behind her irrational decision was simple, "There's nothing for me to do here in Germany." Although setting out with far too little savings, Jenny was able to settle in the foreign country well. She continued to learn Japanese at school and could be considered fluent after three years of hard work. Her family, despite being worried about her, did not contact Jenny as they thought she had abandoned them.
This greatly affected Jenny Mond during her studies as she assumed that her parents didn't care about her. That was until her sister finally reached out to her after four years of silence. This reunion, if you can call it that, was anything but joyful. Extremely happy to be in contact with her family again, Jenny completely ignored what her sister was telling her about, talking over her sister and telling her all kinds of stories from Japan. Clearly upset, her sister spoke up: "Mom is █████." Those were the last words she had spoken before blocking Jenny.
Focusing on her studies, Jenny had not enough time to think about her past. To make up for it, she started going to a temple every day, praying there and continuing the cycle. Only when the moon was at its peak did she stop going. Her grades improved afterwards and she found herself at peace for once. She wrote down her worries and burned them in a bonfire, a final goodbye to her past as she finally stopped worrying about her family.
Perhaps now you could say that she officially abandoned them.
