I run 2 accounts, I have a sports team (Track) and an Adult (formally KPD) account. I switch between them, playing for about 4-5 hours a day depending on my schedule. Most of my activity is running around, roleplaying with others, participating in events or hanging out with friends.

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
I have 4 years of role playing experience. Not only in a setting like SchoolRP, I’ve done lots of apocalyptic roleplay and a bit of fantasy roleplay. As for SRP itself, I’ve been part of the Sports Faction for a long time, and in KPD for a brief period of time. I can confidently say I have a lot of experience with roleplaying.
What is your motivation for applying?
My motivation for applying is because it is the next step for my character's development. To me, it aligns well with my character's backstory and lore that I have established. Aside from that, I'm a very open minded individual, and love going out there and trying new roleplay experiences.

What knowledge do you have of Hospital Work?
I'll say I have a balanced understanding of general hospital work. While I do not understand some protocols or some of the tools they use, I am, however, very interested in how the hospital operates and the general protocols workers must follow. Likewise, I am able to list some roles, their duties, and some codes they may use.

Backstory (100+ Words)
1990 - 2008
Hikari was born and raised in Higashine, Japan. Coming from a family with a long line of military service, it made sense for her to serve her country in whichever way she wanted to. During these years, she excelled in her studies, gaining an interest in the medical field.
2010 - 2014
At the rightful age of 19, Hikari enlisted with the Japanese Self Defense Force. Completing basic training, she was assigned to the Northeastern Army under the 6th Division within the JGSDF. There, she was then assigned to the Medical Company. During her time there, she began taking courses in the Medical School, honing her skills in medicine, trauma care, and combat casualty management. There, he met her boyfriend, now husband, Sekai Hojo, who was assigned to a combat engineer battalion. She then gave birth to her daughter, Hiyori Hojo.
2015 - 2019
As Sekai was deployed overseas, Hikari moved to Karakura, along with her new-born daughter, Hiyori, and her younger sister, Hisana. There, she worked as an officer under the Karakura Police Department. Serving for only 3 years before resigning, as she wished to continue her medical studies. Even though becoming an Officer didn’t align with her goal, she did learn a lot, further reinforcing the importance of aiding the community and the citizens.
2019 - 2024
Upon returning to her normal life, she continued on with her studies. She returned to the Medical School, becoming an instructor, and still is to this day. At the same time, she began pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree.
SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?

“I’m specialized in Emergency Medicine. I earned it through my experience in the Self Defense Force, where I was assigned to a medical company. For 4 years, I learned everything, from emergency medicine, field surgery, to trauma care. As a plus, I have a great sense of resilience and a commitment to help others. Which was why I chose to pursue this path.”
What medical residencies did your character take after medical school?
“Prior medical residencies I took were Disaster Medicine Training, Trauma Surgery, and Critical Care Medicine Fellowships.”
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
“After gaining the skills and experience I needed, and leaving KPD after serving for 3 years, I returned to the Medical School as an instructor. Where I trained and mentored aspiring medical specialists, teaching them combat casualty care, medical triage, and field medicine. I was also deployed on a few disaster relief missions across the globe. Alongside military related experience, I've been actively involved in research projects aimed at improving medical emergency care and trauma management.”
Has your character completed any additional schooling?
“I completed schooling for Emergency Medical Services, obviously. I also took Advanced Trauma and Cardiac Life Support, earning my certifications in the process.”

Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique?

Hikari has the look of a refined, Japanese woman. Long, dark brown hair that is always neatly tied in a ponytail. Luscious, amber eyes that caught the light. She stands at 5’8”, and has an athletic figure to compliment her beauty. To make her stand out from her peers, she is always seen with a bright smile. A sign of her confidence and due diligence, owing it to her years of service.

Hikari was taught that team work always makes the dream work. Depending on how complex the situation or case is, by collaborating with her fellow medical workers, it gives them the expertise and resources to effectively manage these cases. She believes that each member of the team brings unique skills, perspectives, and experiences. There are times where she wishes the tasks to be left to herself, but when it calls for it, Hikari can function well with others.
What plans does your character have for the future?
"When I chose this path, I wanted to honor my family. But now that I have a clear understanding of what I am getting into. I want to become part of something bigger. I want to contribute to today's everchanging field of medicine. By helping ongoing research projects, collaborating with colleagues on clinical studies, and explore new approaches to improve patient outcomes."
How is your character perceived by others? How does it contrast with their perception of themself?
In her line of work, she is perceived as a highly skilled, dedicated, and compassionate individual. Her previous colleagues view her as a natural leader, with a calm and composed demeanor, even in the most heated and chaotic situations. Her patients and their families appreciate how professional and empathetic Hikari is. And being a mother herself really helps in conversing with her younger patients. Colleagues have also paid respect to her service, with many seeing her as a mentor and a role model.
