What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
I have been playing SRP for quite some time and feel like I know everything about roleplaying. For example I have read over all of the rules before joining and since playing the server I have picked up on how SRP works and how to play it. When it comes to roleplaying, I genuinely think I have a lot of broad experience. I discovered what original characters were and what roleplaying was when I initially started out as a writer and Minecraft enthusiast. SamTheGladiator, a well-known YouTuber, and Treyten later introduced me to roleplay. Before roleplaying with my buddies on SchoolRP, I started roleplaying on a GTA server for approximately a year or so. Recall that I was a very little child at the time. Fast forward to 2021, where I have been playing on SRP for three years, and I am still in school. Aswell I have been playing SRP for longer, and have been playing for the longest time. I also play other servers but SRP is my main server I play in plus since SRP is very enjoyable, I will continue to play it for the longest time I can. Prior to joining SRP, I had little to no experience with roleplaying. But on SRP, I've played a variety of characters and taken part in a range of roleplay activities, such as CombatRP and GangRP, roleplaying with teams and organisations for school sports, and even playing a professor with one of my characters. I'd like to say that I've had some roleplaying experience and that my goal is to continue to develop and learn.
What is your motivation for applying?
I previously indicated that, I am taking a break from GangRP to explore all of the various and varied aspects of SRP. I didn't know where to begin with, this until I heard my friend said "You should apply for EMS, it maybe would suit you.". EMS applications were open, and being considered it. I thought it might be a large risk, but I might as well take it because if I succeed, it will be a significant departure from what I previously did in terms of how I will assist the present team. I am and have always been very dedicated to my work on this server. Putting in a lot of time and effort into, whatever crosses my path. It is something I almost unconsciously do, and with now applying for Psychiatrist I will of course put in as much time as I can, and keep this effort always up. Trying to help in whatever way I could possibly be of use, and try to create unique and interesting RP scenarios. Aswell with my past history I won't exactly say no to a Kidnapping event or anything like that, having said that I have a lot of experience working with teams and groups of individuals. I also want to put my good work to use and make a living out of what I truly love.
Which role are you applying for? (Surgeon, Doctor, or Psychiatrist):
I am applying to be a Doctor in SRP.
What knowledge do you have of Hospital Work?
I have a lot of firsthand knowledge of hospital work, from studying the profession and having several family members who work in this field. A hospital worker is a healthcare expert who has studied some form of premed discipline in order to serve folks in medical need once more. For a psychiatrist, they are the persons who frequently visit with a client one on one to obtain statistics and information in order to properly diagnose and treat them. Psychiatrists will occasionally order lab testing and other difficulties that need to be resolved. On the other side, I don't know as much about IC. I've had a lot of experience with hospital jobs and RP at the hospital. My family who have worked in the EMS have been teaching me every key information I need to know when it comes to being a doctor and I think I do need a bit more knowledge but all around I would say I have pretty good knowledge.
Intern
Interns are often students or inexperienced adults who take part in the programme to learn about what happens at the hospital. They are allowed to assist if the attending personnel walking them through the hospital allows it. In a hospital, what exactly does a doctor do? MOST, but not all, hospital doctors are surgeons or specialised specialists! There are more than 135 medical specialties to choose from. Doctors in hospitals treat and diagnose illnesses and injuries! I'll use an example to clarify doctors' specialties further. Cardiologists, or doctors who specialise in the study and treatment of cardiac diseases and anomalies, have their own floor in hospitals. This entire level is dedicated to cardiovascular topics! They examine and provide information about people who have hearing difficulties. Generally, they will give the patient a cardiac monitor for 24 hours and instruct them to use it throughout. The patient will return the monitor the following day and make an appointment for a follow-up! ABOUT THE LABORATORY: In the hospital lab, they will do tests on whatever is required! By reviewing the data from the heart monitor, one can determine whether or not there are any serious irregularities! If there is a significant issue, a phone call will be made immediately; otherwise, the patient and doctor will meet to discuss everything and double-check the situation! Aside from this position, The hospital has several other departments. Surgeon and Psychology are two other typical roles stated. The latter is an expert in psychological support for patients. While they are still adequate in other areas, they are primarily trusted with dealing with patients' mental health, successfully guiding and conversing with patients to keep them well and prospering. Surgeons are professionals in providing medical treatments with complexities that require the expertise of a specialist. They do complex surgeries such as fracture repair, body damage, internal bleeding, bodily system failure, and many more. It's a risky job since surgeries can go wrong, yet they're the ones who save patients with life-threatening injuries. There are more occupations in department heads, clinical leaders, clinical managers, and hospital directors, but they are all in the hierarchy, doctors who have worked hard to take on more obligations, each one more significant than the last, but all positions are honourable and highly respected.
Trainee
These are the new employees! They go through training, practise processes, and observe their higher-ups [attending and higher] to prepare for when they may ultimately work on their own! The departmental managers, regardless of whatever department, make the final decision. SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?
(Ensure this is appropriate to the position you have chosen)
Throughout her time in gangs, she was frequently called upon to provide emergency aid to an ally who had broken/dislocated a bone, been stabbed, or been knocked out in the heat of fight. she learned how to pop a joint back into place/create splints from scrap wood in alleys for temporary aid to broken/dislocated bones, learned how to tie a proper tourniquet and stitch deep cuts for stabbings/missing limbs from ripped pieces of cloth and sewing needles, and he learned the basic signs of concussions and how to test for them after hits that cause a person to get knocked unconscious and receive head trauma. she thought he could take on this role as doctor since in his time of being in gangs, he had seen a lot of violent things so he was used to it.
What medical residencies did your character take after medical school?
Mia learned first aid and Anesthesiology
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
She did lifeguarding for around 4-5 years.
Has your character completed any additional schooling?
Mia has not but is still learning first aid and how to become a good doctor. she is still learning to this day and is better than ever.
SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique?
Mia is a korean female who would have Golden hair with a pair of Mauve eyes that would hold kind gaze and a powerful stare. She had a scent of Apples that would be aromantic. It would also give her air of unrivaled confidence. Despite her age she would be a very nice female. . . . Sometimes.
While Suk-yeoul is not on duty, he does not seem to change his demeanour. It's as though he doesn't distinguish between his professional and personal lives. He remains as professional and formal as ever, and as quiet as ever, but he appears to have no problems with it. He has no outside connections, hobbies, or friends, so why bother changing the way he acts?
How does your character act on and off duty?
When on duty, Mia employs the severe discipline he learned from his time in gangs and takes his work very seriously. She respects the patients and other hospital personnel, and she never slacks off or hides in the break room. He is quite outgoing and charismatic, as she is used to working with and for people. He works quickly and effectively, but most importantly, with care. When she works with patients, she is frequently able to empathise with their pain and injuries, which helps the patients feel more at ease about their position. While on duty, she maintains a professional but personable demeanour with her coworkers.
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Mia would rather work with others since she likes the feeling of an ally watching his back when working like old times. sHe likes to have someone with a different view that he can discuss a patient’s issues with. However, she is more than confident (if not a little overconfident) in his own abilities and knowledge of medicine to handle his job on his own if needed to. She also likes the company and loves being with others
What plans does your character have for the future?
Mia hopes that in the future she will be the best doctor to ever live since that is her dream. She has a great passion about her work and wishes to do it until she dies.
How is your character perceived by others? How does it contrast with their perception of themself?
Others regard Mia as a little terrifying and "rough around the edges" at times. A patient arrives at the hospital after being battered by thugs, and they are treated by a doctor who also appears to be a gangster. Mia, on the other hand, is working hard to improve himself and does not want to be viewed as a criminal by others. As a result, she tries to be extremely polite, which might come across as strange and unnatural at times. s He recognises that what he did in the past was wrong, and he intends to continue assisting the town in a more legitimate manner. Despite all of this, she may be pleasant at times.
Extra notes:
Being a doctor/adult Is a huge part of her life and will help with the family she is apart of!
