My activity on the server often reaches at /least/ four hours a day on average! I log on whenever possible because I understand the importance of my roles, as well as enjoying the warmth that this community brings. I do have color guard rehearsals every Saturday, however, which is why I've provided a time table below to visually explain my activity!

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
My roleplay experiences are all over the place, which I honestly think is a good thing looking back. Everything up until now has shaped me into not just who I am, but a somewhat talented writer who’s confident in what I do!
In 2019, everything started. To be honest, it's crazy to think it's already been /five/ years. I got thrown headfirst into it all, starting on Amino... hah. I was basically warm printer paper, a blank document, I knew NOTHING about what I was getting myself into. In 2020, I moved over to Instagram after Amino started dying out. My account was originally a personal one revolved around gacha life, and I ended up in a roleplay group chat with a handful of my friends. In 2021, I fell in love with an anime and made a fan account to post as my favorite character, building a fanbase of around 3,000 people and making even MORE friends and another roleplay group chat. Between 2021 and 2022, I started using Discord too. I found someone I now call a brother, and joined a server based around that anime that he invited me to. I was living the LIFE... urgh simpler times.
In 2023, I drifted away from my old friends and stumbled across a YouTube video about SRP. Even though I forgot about it for a while, I eventually came back, still wondering what it would be like to start in a server that seemed so scary yet weirdly inviting. Upon joining, I was confused and nervous, but a friend or two helped me find my way. In 2024, I joined the government faction but lost motivation after a dip in my mental and physical health. After being removed for inactivity, I worked on myself and later applied for KPD due to my underlying interest in becoming more involved, as well as the investigation that comes with the Detective division... join the detectives, guys, you won't regret it!!!
Now it's 2025, which is still baffling to me. I got into KPD last July, which means that my one-year is coming up, and so are my TWOOOO YEARS on SRP! I've also been on both the Bobcat and Spartan female football teams during this time... #3 and #6. Now I feel like I'm an open book, although not yet published. I have enough reputation amongst my community and quality time on this platform to say that I'm ready for something new - a fresh chapter.
What is your motivation for applying?
I have many motivations when it comes to applying for this faction, but the most prominent will be my love for anthropology, biology, and psychology as a group of scientific studies. As my motivations are somewhat tailored to the role I'm applying for, I can't help but say that I /love/ researching different psychological phenomena, alongside different disorders and reading up on public studies. Aside from the mental aspect of it all, I've been told that I would be more suited for this position rather than the doctor position because of how detailed the roleplay within this field can get. That intrigues me beyond belief. As a member of the Detective division, a literary scholar, and a student going into advanced biomedical study, I truly believe that those words were the last push I needed to go ahead and apply.
Also yes, you heard that RIGHT! I am going to be taking up biomedical classes come this next school year. I want to get practice in early despite the research that I'm already doing, and if applying for this faction means improving my knowledge, you know that I'm going to give this application my all. I hope that my application is taken into consideration despite the current roles I hold, as I've always been interested in shooting my shot here.

HOSPITAL DEPARTMENTS
Emergency Department | The Emergency Department houses our Paramedics. After passing your resident examinations, you may reach out to either the Director or Chief Paramedic, expressing your interest in this department, no matter the initial path you choose. When requesting consideration regarding acceptance into this department, you must be ready for the fast-paced nature of it all, as Paramedics must be ready to respond to calls and provide emergency care at all times. |
Doctor Department | The Doctor Department houses our Doctors. After passing resident examinations, a Doctor can provide physical and/or medical care. Typically being the first people you bump into upon entry, they treat every individual with care. |
Psychiatrist Department | The Psychiatrist Department houses our Psychiatrists. After passing resident examinations, a Psychiatrist can provide mental care to those who set foot inside Karakura's Hospital. Psychiatrists offer a wide range of services: evaluations for officers of the Karakura Police Department, therapy appointments, a diagnosis, etc. They are also able to hand out and renew prescriptions! |

He was young despite his qualifications! That was a good sign: a hard-working individual.

A Medical University in Athens, Greece, typically referred to as /The/ University of Athens. It was the best University in Greece!

Character Backstory (Optional):
New life joined the Selinofoto family in the early morning hours of July 29th, 1999. They named him Medeus, after the Athenian prince, the son of King Aegeus. At first, his parents love-bombed him, showering him with anything and everything from ages one to four. But this affection faded into something distant. The Selinofoto household grew louder with shouting, yet emptier with neglect, all until silence began to speak louder than his words ever could. He did not understand the severity of the world at such a young age, but knew that his chest nearly always felt tight and his stomach twisted.
Come age six, Medeus stopped talking. No doctor ever found anything medically wrong with the boy, however, and chalked it up to a silent protest alongside a cry for attention. His parents described what they felt as pity, not regret. Selinofoto felt helpless despite his young age until he was called down to the counselor's office during the middle of class, come age eight. Mr. Christoforou was his name. He took an interest in aiding Medeus, welcoming him with open arms despite everything that seemed to be going on in a world as small as Selinofoto's and as large as Christoforou's. He soon began to melt like a popsicle come summer, opening up about a vast majority of problems that have brought his progress to an all-time low. He claimed that he was happy being quiet, but a counselor such as the one sitting before him would be a fool to believe that. Selinofoto eventually found that he had made his point and that it was time to move on. He had gotten the help he needed, although it was not from the two he wanted most.
Mr. Christoforou's act of kindness planted a seed that would soon grow into the prettiest tree. As a teenager, Medeus volunteered with the Association for Regional Development and Mental Health (ΑΡΣΙΣ), where he saw the effects of neglect not just in himself, but in entire communities. For the first time in his entire life, he felt as if he wasn't alone. He knew of other individuals who truly understood what he had gone through! Once graduating from high school, he earned his Bachelor’s degree with honors before continuing to the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he proudly obtained his PhD in Psychology! His focus was clear to those who managed to stick by his side. The young man eventually moved to America in order to take up a medical scribe position, absorbing all the required information needed to excel in his field for just about two years. His friends suggested a move over to Japan because of the new positions opening up in Karakura for jobs in the psychiatric field, and he ended up listening! A quick flight to Karakura, Japan, solidified his idea to apply for such a position.
With all this in mind he now aims to assist those in need, although more importantly those who have nowhere else to go, just as he did.

SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?

Medeus found it hard to pick a medical specialty. His thoughts ran a mile a minute, thinking about where he would be able to positively impact the public in a way that would set him at cold ease. Child and Adolescent Psychiatry eventually came to mind, and while he was not originally moved by the idea, he came to realize that he might be able to assist others where he could not be helped in the past. This guided him to a rather warm and unusual feeling. He chose to go down this road after countless hours of back and forth with himself, and couldn't be happier... despite his outward appearance.
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
Yes! Medeus has loaded his plate with as much work experience as possible before choosing to apply for a Psychiatrist position at Karakura Hospital.

This non-governmental organization focuses on children, adolescents, and refugee integration! It offers individuals like those stated above to speak with social workers, counselors, and psychiatrists in settings such as shelters and youth programs. | While being a medical scribe is not a formal or recognized job in Greece, it is in the United States. That is why he chose to move to the States to start a short-lived yet fulfilling job. Recording information is something he finds himself to be rather good at, which is why he even chose this line of work in the first place! Jotting down summaries of diagnoses and logging psychiatric interviews, as well as histories, seemed to be some of the duties he favored. |
SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?
Medeus Selinofoto is a 25-year-old Greek man standing at 5'10" who puts wits before wardrobe. His eyes are dark, heavy with exhaustion. They meet just below yours, as if he's doing everything he possibly can to avoid looking you directly in the eye, like even just the thought is too much to bear. That is until he is sitting with a client, of course! Once in a working environment surrounded by those who need him "most," he ensures to keep a tone that is level-headed and entirely comforting. His accent prevails throughout every language he speaks. Medeus's black hair carelessly falls upon his shoulders when not tied back into a rather messy take on a ponytail. The piercings to hang from his ears, as well as sit against his face quite nicely, perfectly complement his olive-toned skin. As much as he attempts to present himself proudly, some might deem him weak, while others strong.
How does your character act around the hospital?
Around the hospital, Medeus Selinofoto is a calm individual who looks to help his peers when they come to him, as he grows metaphorically ill come the thought of overstepping. He seems like a rather quiet individual, all until one gets to know and understand his character! He's quite the skilled individual, after all. Selinofoto is typically found with a cup of black coffee in hand to power himself through the day. Those who have hands-on experience working with Medeus refer to him as a black cat: willing, but slow to melt if you are not a patient seeking assistance.
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Selinofoto seems to function better on his own a far majority of the time, though this does not mean that he is incapable of working with his peers. He recognizes that he needs assistance when it comes to high-pressure situations, while he might just want to work on a project on his own during your average day-to-day shift. Medeus appreciates the help he receives from others wholeheartedly, taking it all in kindly and quietly whenever thrown at him. His past employers describe him as silently open-minded.
