Kai stands at 7 feet tall. Big, in every sense of the word. His skin is dark, his build heavy like a wall, and his black hair sits in a tight, short afro. His face is sharp, diamond-shaped, and marked forever by the deep scar over his missing left eye. His one good eye? Cold brown, always watching. A huge tattoo stretches across his chest and stomach, the price of Bloodhounds ink. You might catch him with a piercing set, clean clothes, sometimes punk, sometimes formal, never soft.

Kai would seem to be what the kids call "chill", he flows with everything, whether it's dressing up in a maid dress or raiding the KPD. He'd probably do it.
Though he could be a bit silly sometimes, he still needs to be serious. And when he is serious, he is LOCKED IN.

Kai's father is a half Muslim and half Japanese man, his name is Abdul Minyang. The Japanese heritage came from his grandfather, Shizuwa Minyang, he will be spoken about later.
The Muslim heritage came from his grandmother, Yifat Minyang.
Even though it goes against the Muslim religion, they decided that Kai is going to be Muslim.
His African American heritage came from his mother, Tina Minyang, no need to go too deep in that.
Kai's grandfather is a ruthless man, he was like his father, he controlled Kai and his dad.
Shizuwa is an ex-Yakuza member, a Japanese gang organization. Shizuwa was a higher up in a clan in a small island called "Karakura" in Japan.
Backstory:

He was born on the 31st of August, 2004. It all began in Chicago, Parkway Gardens homes. Also known as "O-block", Kai was born at a birthing center near his home, it is unknown where exactly.
The beginning of the crime life.
"Why am I like this?"
As said, Kai's grandfather is an ex gang member, which had fueled him to join a gang in the United States too.
Shizuwa became a gang member in the gang "Bloodhounds" a notorious gang known for its kill counts and ruthless members.
Shizuwa decided to try and convince Kai to join him, and at just fifteen, Kai became a Bloodhound.
At fifteen, Kai took part in a gang war near his apartment building, he shot and killed 2 men, and got shot in the liver. But he managed to survive.
Just a few months later, he got caught "lacking" and was shot in his right arm two times, and managed to survive.
At sixteen, his grandfather forced him to stab a man in the heart.
At seventeen, Kai got in a school fight with another boy in the bathroom. He ended up stabbing the boy and killing him. It landed in him getting expelled and thrown in jail.
He was released for good behavior at 18, but was thrown again for a month after drunk-driving.
After going through all that, Kai had enough. He ran away to Japan, where his grandfather used to rule. Karakura.
He thought he would have a more peaceful life, but oh was he wrong.
Life in Karakura. (2022-present day)
"What a mistake."
As said before, at 18, Kai moved to Karakura to try and achieve a more peaceful life.
His first experience in Karakura is an interesting one. In his first month, Kai went to his newly rented apartment in complex M when he encountered a small group. He decided to provoke a girl then and it broke into a fight, Kai got knocked out pretty quickly.
Kai was fuming, he hit up the black market and somehow got a metal baseball bat and a ballistic mask in his hands.
He caught the girl walking one day and he kidnapped her, bringing her to a remote area and breaking her leg. Huge mistake.
Her boyfriend quickly got the word that his girlfriend's leg was broken by Kai, so he took matters to his own hands.
One late night, the boyfriend caught Kai at the beach strolling. He jumped Kai and with a few accomplices, sliced Kai's eye.
Kai was left without an eye to this day.
Crime life in Karakura.
"This is so much better then the O'"
Kai's life of crime started when he was given a higher-up role in the gang "9Stars" by his good friend who was retiring to pursue his medical dreams.
Kai became a turf captain in the gang 9Stars, but it didn't last long. He was there for about 3 months, participating in a few wars before resigning.
He then joined a new gang, Kagetsu. A delinquent gang with a twist.
He manages to climb to a higher-up rank, which he is now still holding and is to this day.
Relationships and social life.
“I love breaking hearts.”
Kai has gone through about 5 relationships romantically, the first one being Shawna whom he met at school in the United States. They were talking and after about 2 months got together officially and were together for 2 years until she found out he was in a gang and then she dumped him after learning that. After he moved to Karakura, that's when his second relationship happened, he found this girl Amara Yamada, whom he would seem to be just a really good friend with. Behind the scenes though, they were kissing and cuddlin'. Then after a few months of being together they broke up after Amara and her friends held a test that Kai failed. Then Kai met this girl Valerie, which he started talking to but then got bored of her and stopped talking to her. He then started talking to another girl, called Linnea, with her everything was going good at the start until she left him to be with his friend. That was tough for him but then he moved on with this girl he met named Ariana but after she got in a fight they broke up because Kai realized her decisions were bad. Now though he’s still a pretty social person befriending almost everyone and he has some notable people in his life who are his closest friends and they are his brothers, Atlas Domen-Densetsu and Lorenzo Mayumi-Densetsu both who are currently in jail. Kai is currently in the gang Kagetsu; the gang’s colours are black and white as seen in the picture of him below.
