Happy Thursday, Karakura! With this latest academic news, it’s possible that Karakura may see a turning point in the quality of education, for the better!
Over a short period of time in November, the local highschool and community college was being reviewed by a school inspector, sent by the education board directly from the mainland! Inspector Tsubasa Suetsugu was put up to the task of monitoring the school's not-so-brief history of problematic events.
The inspector, in simple terms, monitored classes from both sides of the school - highschool and college, Bobcat and Spartan - along with interviewing employees from all fields within the school. . . Nurses, caretakers, teachers - you name it.
This is particularly interesting since it is the first inspector Karakura’s education has seen in a while, so many theorise that it may bring a lot of positive changes in the schooling system as time comes. Prior to this particular positive incident, there have been many mini-controversies circulating throughout the school, many of which resulted in a surplus of suspensions and even expelled students.
Suetsugu agreed to speak with me and give me some brief information regarding the inspection process - she claimed that Karakura high and community college was most definitely a unique school, differing immensely from mainland schools all across the country. When it came to an overall rating of the school, here’s what she said:
“To put it short and sweet . . . The staff employed here look out for the students, their education is in their best interest.”
You heard it here, Karakura. There is opportunity for the school to prosper even further! Keep your eyes peeled for more reports for your weekly in-take of positivity.
