It’s certainly become worn; tears, crinkles, and all the more litter the page. While it was no ancient heirloom, it certainly hadn’t been from the current decade. Blurbs of a particular event take the front page. ]
MASAMARU STATION
SEPTEMBER 25TH, 2005
True tragedy struck within the crumbling Masamaru Station. Citizens familiar with the area recognized the station as “old”, boarding trains cautiously due to its faulty architecture. Unbeknownst to Karakura, this would have been its final hurrah. The ceiling above began to give out.
A particular member of the staff took this precaution seriously, safely steering all of the people inside of the station outside. Considering its state, it was no surprise what would have happened next.
All but two of the awaiting passengers were able to escape, the two being identified as eighteen-year-olds. In an unfortunate turn of events, they were unable to escape in time. Rubble and debris caved in, trapping the individuals with no escape.
[ A secondary article accompanied the one dated September 25th, the date of it instead being marked to be roughly two weeks later. Similarly to the previous paper, it was faded and tattered. That was only expected, considering that the dates were so close, and. . .the articles themselves were, too, physically. ]
September 25th, the Masamaru Station collapsed, whether it was expected or not. While most citizens escaped safely, two high school-aged individuals did not. The two left inside were identified to be Kajiwara Hanako and Shibata Saburo.
Since the incident, rescue teams have put forth work to retrieve the two left behind in the rubble of the station.
After weeks of preparations, an opening was made. To everyone’s surprise, all that was located was a severed right-foot and a trail of blood. Behind the scenes investigations have gone on, and questions have arisen. The location of the two bodies is completely unknown.
Many speculate a supernatural occurrence, or maybe there weren’t two people there at all and it was a hoax. Some have even claimed that the bodies are still there. The scenario has left even skeptics unsure.
