Karakura News | Riots at the Karakura Police Department

Level 45
AUGUST 31ST
OTOSAKA SHOJIRO

August 25th, a crowd had gathered outside of the police station, holding signs and pushing for justice with exactly four people in mind. Nicholei Popovich, Trey Allemburg, Raleigh Delgado and Preston Herrington; who shot them all dead and traumatized the entire city. They were, in specific, demanding for Nicholei’s justice after he had won the court case and been killed by the commissioner and his former colleague.
The protest was peaceful for the most part. It was planned to be that way, just aggressive but also harmless marching around in the lobby of the police department with signs held up and an array of phrases to shout. It was nice, except for the part where it wasn’t.

Suddenly, a throng of individuals unsheathed weapons and shook them at police as a substitute for their signs. Some of them even attempted to take the doors off of their hinges. With the help of one another, they managed to break through, however not far enough to cause a massive ruckus and butt heads with police officers. Reizo Tokoshima came to the rescue, commanding his officers to weave out the bad from the inside of the police department. With success, it was clear that this could not easily be the end of the night.
Those officers, all suited up, could not rest easy knowing there was an angry crowd of hungry protestors right beneath them. Soon enough, they managed to slip in through the back doors. Those spectators on the edge of the street could not catch a boring sight, as rubber bullets caught the skin of every threat that stood on the pavement. Some of them were even innocents.

Finally, in terms of wrapping up this event, we were gifted with the presence of an odd voice. Perhaps distortion, maybe it was just a foreign accent. An individual by the name of “Yuki” graced us with the knowledge that they were “proud of us”. Which is leaving everyone with the question, is this person a coordinator? Are they responsible for this? Perhaps we’ll find out in weeks to come.

Until then, stay safe.
