Not long ago, a 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck Karakura - only adding to the series of unfortunate events in the past few weeks.

It began with a drill inside the school, hosted by none other than Kurokawa Akihito and Ryuji Grey - SLT representatives of Karakura Highschool & Community College. The drill began with intercom instructions to the students, though soon spiralled out of control when warnings for a genuine earthquake was broadcasted live.

Students were dismissed by faculty and emergency precautions were being taken in the city. An organisation known as the Akihito Clan were offering immediate support and resources to anyone harmed by the earthquake or in need of supplies. Relief packages were passed out to victims as the effects of the earthquake raged on, the citizens were in turmoil with many injured and an unknown number of casualties.

An area particularly affected were the c****s; a hotspot for crime in the city. Various lamp posts fell not only as far as the city goes but also especially near the c**** entrance - along with the collapse of the c**** bridge and a few, thankfully, empty houses in the area.

Two of the homes along the street, however, were reported to have citizens in them during the moment of impact. As the debris caved all escape routes in, emergency responders were sent to the scene almost instantly. The efforts of police were assisted by the citizens of Karakura, themselves - who jumped into action and began clearing away the rubble to free those inside.

From the information given to the public, there are no official casualties, so we may only hope that everyone injured is now safe and sound.

Though, one question may loom in your mind, how is Karakura doing now?

Since the destruction of the c****s, the government has taken up the task of renewing and bettering the area. Karakura now serves a much more suburban look, with the complete removal of the c****s and many new houses of very modern architecture. In addition to this, an old classic of the city, the “Family Store” has made a return, selling basic stationary, food and newspapers.

This is likely just the start of the revival of the city, yet there are no further plans disclosed for city works. This was Uemara Tomochin, see you soon, Karakura - and stay safe.
