Their twin sister: Kei Akamine [ A kind twin sister who always made sure to stay by their side ]
Their parents often had trouble bringing food into the home and keeping a roof over their heads. The two girls lived in a run down apartment, an apartment their parents were just barely able to afford. They often had to resort to begging for food, due to the fact their parents could not afford any.
Their dad was nothing but a deadbeat who constantly wasted money on his drinking instead of buying food for his kids. Their mom was a sad and closed off women who loved to project her hurt onto her 2 kids. She worked as a waiter and was often mistreated at her work place. She was a troubled mother, who didn't care much for her children and only saw them as a waste of money.
After years of living in poor conditions, their mom and dad's health began to worsen. Their mom was the first to get sick, she was bed ridden and unable to walk due to how sick she had gotten. After a while all the drinking started to catch up to their dad as well. With both parents sick and unable to do anything it was up to the two girls to find a job.
They worked together side by side to earn enough money to continue paying the bills. But that didn't help their parents health get any better, eventually the two parents passed leaving the girls alone together. They decided they needed a fresh start, and moved to a nearby town.
They were able to make friends, and get a nice place, causing trouble together as they roamed the town.
