Backstory: Kotaro and her brother Yumi were born in the red district of Osaka, Japan. Their mother died during childbirth and their father was abusive. They were taken in by a mafia family led by Allen Forreli, and have been raised in the mafia ever since. Kotaro is fiercely loyal to her mafia family and will do whatever it takes to protect them, using her skills and combat training to be a valuable asset to the gang. Her blindness in one eye and the large scar on her arm are the result of a previous altercation with a rival gang. Despite the danger and violence surrounding her life, Kotaro finds solace in playing the piano and reading books, as well as spending time with her brother.
