Describe your activity on the server:
I've been playing on SRP for almost 6 years now, I first joined in 2019, I used to roleplay on High School themed Hypixel housings, that was until I found out about this server and it really struck a chord within me, since I noticed it had so many features and mechanics that were simply missing in any other server I've been in before, so ever since then I tried to fit in and learn more and more about it. The first months were quite something, to say the least, since I never read the whole rules thoroughly at the time, I invented some stuff that could've been considered stupid or straight up not allowed by the rules (like ItemRPing weapons or making up a whole character that was possessed, silly 13 year old me) or committed some FailRPing because I had no idea what it meant back then, looking back at it it was kinda funny, and it was my first and only ban. I'm not sure which between 2020 or 2021 was my most active years, but to be sure I'll just say the pandemic years were my most active, I remember I used to play even during online classes since there was mostly nothing else to do and I was glued to my pc all day, I managed to make some friends, with the server taking some sort of role as my second life if you will, since real life was mostly limited to sitting on my pc due to the lockdowns and what not. While real life was starting to take a toll on my mental health, this server became my personal source of escapism, and it really worked for a good while in the sense that it managed to make my routine better while the outbreak lasted. 2022 was the year I started becoming less active because the lockdowns were finally over, and I gradually managed to find my place back into a regular life, balancing out real life and the time I spent on the server, but I was still active and sometimes I just stayed up a long time so I could never miss the lore I managed to build with my character in those couple of months if not years. 2023 was my least active year since I got into a relationship and whole lot of things that made me lose track of my character, plus the friends I used to play with mostly quit or didn't talk to me at the time so I didn't have much of a reason to log on that much, but that changed after I created Akira and built up some lore with a couple people I knew at the moment, lore that lasted until the summer of 2024. Maybe my second most active period was when I was accepted into KPD, and ever since then I've been really active, wanting to learn more and more about this role and enjoying every moment of playing as an officer, sure it had some ups and downs but it was still really fun, and the more i stuck around, the more experience I managed to gain, I also found the community to be really nice and full of nice people who were fun to be around and were up to help me out whenever I needed or had the chance, it was hard to resign when I did so, however I felt like it was a decision I had to make because I was struggling with my mental health, and I needed some time for myself. At this time I'm still semi-active but with not that much to do, I still managed to keep building up some lore for Akira, however at the moment I waited for the opportunity to apply for KPD again since I miss it dearly.
What is your motivation for applying?:
About a year ago I would've said I wanted to join the KPD because It's the only faction I'm interested in and the only one I would've found interesting playing in, looking for a good time to be had and interesting situations for my character to be put in as a police officer (a motivation I went more in detail with in my previous applications), well, while my opinion on the matter certainly didn't change, and I still think that to a certain degree, at the moment my motivation is also mixed with a sense of nostalgia, since I really enjoyed being in the faction, I miss the people I played with, the tasks, the activities, the scenarios, yes even the wild ones with annoying suspects (I found those really fun), the events and so on, it was impossible to get bored at times (Well apart from when you were the only officer on but those are minor details), and while I the more I was on the more experienced I became, I feel like since it was my first time and sometimes I was confused on what to do, I made way too many errors and I would like to have a second chance to get better and do it all over again.
What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
I have insider knowledge of how the KPD operates, having been in the faction for a good while, I'm a bit rusty since it's been some time but I'll make sure to share all the important knowledge I gained while being in the faction. There are about 25+ officers and 11 ranks , 5 per division except for the commissioner, which should count as the top rank for both, these two divisions specialize in 2 different fields : There's the Main Division and the Detective Division. The Main Division performs general law enforcements duties, like emergency-response, patrols, apartment raids, reports, overseeing CCTV and addressing general concerns from worried citizens at the front desk. The Detective Division may also perform general law enforcement duties as well as more specialized ones, which require more technical knowledge and dedicated training to master : These duties are interrogations, surveilance logs, stakeouts and forenzics. The Hierarchies for each division look like this :
