How does your character know this language?:
Keori De LaRue.
She was born in Scotland and grew up on the language Gaelic than moved to Japan due to low financial income. Since her dad and mom got a divorce her mom had to work several jobs to pay rent. A few years after the divorce her mom found a suggnificant other that lived in Japan.. Keori with her mom, at the age of 12 moved to there. He had a stable job and because of this her mom was able to stay at home. Since they now lived in the new country her mother wanted to keep their language in the house while the stepdad wasn't home, so when Keori is around her mother she speaks Gaelic.
