What position are you applying for?: Lawyer
What is your motivation for applying?:
To start it off bluntly, I want to experience another type of roleplay than what I'm primarily used to. It's time to start another story, if you get what I mean.
Now why Lawyer over everything else?
Being a lawyer on schoolrp has always interested me ever since I've been a judge. As a lawyer, I believe you have lots of roleplay opportunities which are both action-oriented and allow you to bring your own 'touch' to it, something I find important when roleplaying. Compared to some other roles, where you have strict guidelines you must follow, being a lawyer allows you to use your creativity to perform well in the task you have to complete -- win the trial. Being a lawyer is also thrilling as the outcome depends on a lot of variables and has quite some impact. With that being said I think it's quite clear why the lawyer role attracts me, however this is not all...
Another important reason why I want to become a lawyer is that I believe I have a lot to bring to the Town Faction and its judicial system. I'd like to think that I'm quite a creative person, and I think my position as Event Coordinator and Developer on SchoolRP proves that. This creativity can be a good inspiration for other people in the Town faction to make things more interesting and the activities that are done -- such as trails -- more entertaining, making the faction both more active and fun at the same time without requiring any major overhaul of the way it is run (as those are already tried and, from what I know and see, is pretty nice now)
Do you have an understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights?: Yes (I've dealt with quite some complaints from players who got arrested lol)
What are your goals for being in Government Faction?:
This quite overlaps with my motivation for applying, however, there's always one goal for any hobby: Having fun.
Now besides having fun, as a lawyer, I hope that I can inspire others with my creativity and make the job of both lawyers and judges more entertaining to perform as well to spectate. I've watched quite some trials and whilst the set-up is great, the interactivity between each of the parties can be improved upon. This requires creativity and inspiration, and this is what I hope to bring to the town faction.
In your own words, describe the different roles of the Government Faction:
I'll use my skill of being straight to the point here, so don't be offended that it's short :(
Mayor - The person in charge of the faction (also called faction lead)
Deputy-Mayor - HU's of the faction, each overseeing a part of the faction (i.e. lawyer/judges/etc)
Lawyer - Represent the clients during trial alongside with some other duties you can find in the guidelines
Judge - Both the person in charge in a courtroom/trial as well as the jury during trials, more duties in guidelines
Governer - Assist during trails and check on the administrative laws in place by doing shop inspections and approving adoptions. Also some other duties you can find in the guidelines
Do you acknowledge that you can be subject to removal at any given time upon being accepted?: No
