Describe your activity on the server:
Though I am relatively new to SRP, I’ve dabbled in roleplaying before. I find that the structure of SRP has allowed me to pertain to various creative possibilities. In my time on SRP, I’ve found my way into joining its high school cheer team, which takes up most of my time on the server. Often I’ll have my character idle throughout various parts of the map, ready to interact with others. I genuinely enjoy talking with others the most. I’m relatively active; I get online at least four-five times weekly, hours later on at night. I spend most of my time on the server roleplaying and hanging out with the friends I’ve made. In addition to being involved in a team, I’ve been employed at Euphoria for a few months. I work as an artist, and I find it highly gratifying to illustrate the characters of those within the community; the reaction to my artwork makes me want to continue commissions! I am pretty active on discord as well and am constantly available.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

What position are you applying for?:

I am applying for Lawyer.

What is your motivation for applying?:
Since I'm interested in law, the position of Lawyer would allow for a new means of learning about the judicial system and legal practices since it is something I'm passionate about. Plus, I've been told I'd make a good lawyer; it's been a longstanding ambition. I'm passionate about civil duties, and being a lawyer in-game could be a fun recreational activity to continue involving myself in. I've always been motivated to help others and leave a lasting impression. This position will be fun, creating unique solutions and preserving through the different situations that may arise. Despite being content with my current roleplay experience on SRP, it'll be an excellent opportunity to remain interested and try something new. Another primary reason for my application is to develop my main character's backstory. I plan to make her the mother of my friend and I's OCs, a Lawyer; doing so would further enrich the lore and backstory of the family we've created. My friends and I share the goal of growing our family tree within the server, and introducing this character as a Lawyer will be an initial step toward that goal since it'd tie some of the themes we've thought about together!

Do you have an understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights?:
I have a moderate understanding of Karakura’s laws and Constitutional rights. I’ve made sure to look over and study them to the best of my ability. I definitely think I’d need more hands-on experience in order to fully grasp the concept. However, I’ve been making sure to regularly check and update myself on the subject.

Are there any goals for you or your character with this role?:
In addition to the motivation previously stated, I also want to improve my writing and role-playing ability. This can include a wide range of areas, such as enhancing my overall writing style and refining my ability to craft detailed and descriptive responses.

As for my goals for Hye-Jin, her position as a lawyer will act to push her to new limits and to better balance the demands of her work and family life. She recognizes the unique challenges that come with being a working parent but sees her legal career as an opportunity to rise to these challenges and emerge as a stronger person. I'd like for her career to influence her approach to parenting. It’ll give her a greater sense of authority and confidence in guiding and disciplining her children. If Hye-Jin were to be a lawyer, it’d tie in nicely with the tragedy of her husband's murder, which has forced Hye-Jin to take on the role of sole provider and caregiver for her family. Her determination to be a successful lawyer would not only provide her with financial stability but also serves as a source of inspiration and motivation in the face of this personal tragedy. I envision her as deeply dedicated to her children and willing to put in the time and effort necessary to provide them with a secure and nurturing environment.
