Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
Without teachers there wouldn't be school roleplay. Teachers provide immersion and keep the roleplay engaging and enjoyable. They also can potentially teach people things in real life with their lessons. With greenies joining the server almost every day, most would go to a teacher for advice for the beginning their roleplaying journeys. Teachers can also provide a safe environment, keeping students safe and making sure they do not get hurt.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?: Yes
Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?: Yes

What's your character's full name?: She smiled warmly at them, "I'm Ahri Vasilieva! It's a pleasure to meet you!"
What is your character's nationality?: "I'm from South Korea."
What is your preferred subject to teach?: "I'd love to teach history!"
Describe your character:
Ahri stands at 5'6" with straight, espresso-colored hair reaching her shoulders, and framing her face. She has pale blue colored eyes, which provided a contrast the rest of her appearance. She always carried the smell of chrysanthemums. Ahri tended to wear dark colors, which suited her.
Others could describe Ahri as a playful and funny person. She had a knack for making very cheesy jokes, causing everyone around her to cringe. Yet under her playful and carefree exterior, there was a girl who truly cared about everyone. If anyone around her seemed down, she would try her best to comfort and cheer them up, even if she hardly knew them. Ahri is a very deeply feeling person and has empathy for everyone. Sadly, her empathy can run too deep, and if she finds that someone she cares about got hurt, she'd break down.
What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
Ahri treats all students and staff like family, which in her eyes they are. Her students are like her children; she would do anything for them. Even if it required staying afterschool to provide extra help to them if they are struggling. Ahri knows you can't be friends with everyone, but she wants to at least be on good terms with everyone on campus. With her co-workers she would be competitive, but in a playful, unserious way. Like how she would with siblings.
What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
From a young age, Ahri always seemed to have a fascination with history. It was as if it was always around her, and she would always think about how actions from hundreds of years ago might have affected her life today. She spent most of her time studying and learning about the past. There was a time one of Ahri's friends needed help with their history homework, and she taught them much about the subject. She found that she enjoyed teaching. She tutored her friends often after that. She loved teaching. She even enjoyed befriending younger children and offered them tutoring sessions!
Now, Ahri wants to teach the next generation history. Finding great satisfaction when someone understands what she is teaching them.

Roleplay Scenarios
A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
Ahri was teaching a lesson on the downfall of the Roman Empire when she notices a student not as focused on the material as much as their peers. She quickly finished the lesson, making sure no others were having trouble, and quietly called the student up to her, making sure not to draw any attention from the other students, to make sure they do not feel any embarrassment.
"Would you like some help with the topic? I'd love to help make sure you understand!" she asked gently, a smile on her face. Hopefully, the student would agree, and she would explain the lesson thoroughly. Answering any questions and concerns the student had, and if they still had some issues, she would encourage them to possibly see her after class during their break
A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
Ahri was showing the class images of paintings from the Renaissance Era. A student kept making remarks about the appearance of the paintings.
"Excuse me, but now is not the time for such remarks, you can do this on your own time, not during class time." she said in a firm but calm tone. If the student stopped, that would be the end of it, but if they kept going, she would give them one more warning, "This is your final warning, if you misbehave one more time, I will have to give you detention." She wouldn't get mad; she would stay calm and not involve her personal feelings in the ordeal.
Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
First class Idea:
"Writing the news"
Students get a lot of freedom with this one! I provide every student with a piece of paper, and their job is to write the front page of any event they chose! It can be any event from history, and they must write it in the point of view of a reporter who witnessed it, there must be nothing about the future, only this event. The requirements are a headline, at least one paragraph, and mentioning at least three people. For extra points, they could either provide a picture or a drawing! If any student felt confident enough, they could present it to the front of the class!
Second class Idea:
"History on trial"
I chose a historical figure, and it's up to the class to decide if they should be pressing charges or not. Everyone in the class would get a role I assign randomly, such as defense attorney, prosecutor, witnesses, and even victims. Those who aren't chosen for any of these roles are assigned jury. I would play the role of judge. The students must use historical accurate evidence, and it's up to the class to make the best decision.
