Describe your activity on the server:

My activity on the server dates back to 2021, around when I began giving myself more of an incentive to play on SchoolRP through the many unique opportunities I've experienced and have been offered to me. Although I've taken some long breaks in between then and now, I've continued to dedicate much of my time to building so many roleplay scenarios and arcs alongside other people whom I've met and befriended on the server. From 2025 to this year, I've been much more active by voluntarily participating in many server-hosted events and helping in many others as well, particularly through shops (Yona-Yona, Umisachi, and La Casa Nostra, for example) and school clubs that I've associated myself with (Astrology and Fashion). In addition, I've used my skin-making abilities for the past four years or so to help maintain my activity and offer tailoring services to other people through a certified Discord server known as "Euphoria", further grounding my reputation. In the present, I'm able to log on most days of the week, typically in the afternoon, and I often spend much of my time keeping myself engaged by searching for new and fun ways to interact and build connections with the rest of the player base.

On another note, I am currently employed (crazy, I know); however, I will gladly provide a table of what times I am usually on the most. This may be subject to change, as my schedule is not always consistent, but I am fully willing to communicate that in advance.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive, you will be demoted?:

Absolutely. I fully acknowledge and accept that I am likely to have my role revoked if I become inactive.

School Employee Role you are applying for?:

I am currently interested in applying for the [Chef] Role!

In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:

The Chef is a crucial role that plays a significant part in helping to shape the reputation and presentation of a school setting. This is done by ensuring that all students are provided with healthy, well-balanced meals throughout designated times of the day (breakfast and lunch), maintaining food safety at all times, and properly sanitizing the kitchen to prevent any mishaps or potential hazards from arising. Much like a restaurant setting, where students can be somewhat regarded as the customers, it is important to uphold a standard of professionalism, hospitality, and attentiveness when attending to their needs. In addition, the role extends beyond only preparing and serving food. A school chef is entrusted with preserving an environment that promotes cleanliness, reliability, and student well-being, alongside other school employees. When their responsibilities within the kitchen have been completed, their duty may instead transition to monitoring the state of the school grounds and assisting students and staff members' needs when necessary.

What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:

Quite a lot! My experience within the Roleplay Community...+

Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:

I'd love to join the School Employee faction because I'm genuinely interested in immersing myself in an area of SchoolRP that I'd love to experience at least once and want to become more in touch with. Not only that, but after receiving recommendations from several friends of mine who were involved in the faction, it made me even more intrigued to see what it had to offer! I believe becoming a part of the Employee Roster would provide me with many excellent opportunities to further develop my detail roleplay, remain actively involved within the server, and participate in a variety of engaging and compelling roleplay scenarios. Additionally, I'm looking forward to the prospect of interacting with other employees and students, establishing new connections, and creating memorable experiences alongside other members of the community.

~ Situations ~

During a work shift, a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic; how does your character react?:

Cursing? Judgmental remarks? Foul language such as this is not only shocking to Asahi, but childish, to say the least. Regardless, his experience in food service and dealing with rude individuals throughout many instances has taught him much about how to handle situations like this appropriately, even in an environment as different as this one. Rather than allowing such remarks to provoke him, Asahi would maintain his calm demeanor, speaking to the student in a stern yet measured manner as he locked eyes with them. He would make it abundantly clear that such behavior is neither appropriate nor necessary, particularly when addressing someone who is simply fulfilling their professional responsibilities.

"I'll have you know, if there's something you'd like to discuss, I'd appreciate it if you could do so without resorting to that kind of language. There is no need to make a spectacle of yourself."

You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:

“How unbelievable…” Asahi thought to himself as he hastily marched over to the two individuals in question. As he got within proximity, he raised his voice sharply, making it heard loudly without hesitation, while using this opportunity to intervene. Just as he stepped in between them to halt their conflict, he immediately demanded answers from each of them in a stern tone of voice. Upon hearing their stories, he pondered in thought momentarily before reacting according to what had to be done first. Upon noticing their injuries, he’d take them to the nearby nurse's office, ensuring that they could be treated and explain themselves more comfortably before any further punishment could be carried out.

Some time later, he’d willingly take them both to the cafeteria, preparing and offering ready-made dishes to ease the intensity of the already serious situation. Despite his disappointment, he wasn’t the kind to send them both off immediately, just yet, not unless he could do something on his part to assist the two. Nonetheless, he knew action had to be taken.

“I want you two to understand that this is unacceptable behavior, period. No matter what happened, you are not within your rights to be causing any kind of commotion in this school, let alone should you be hurting each other. Do learn to behave yourselves..." Without another thought, he’d hand a detention slip to each of them, taking their leftovers before shortly sending the two off on their separate ways.

Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job; how does your character react?:

Asahi would be in utter shock, unable to fully process what he's seeing. "Are my eyes deceiving me?..." He whispered to himself as he observed from a distance. Regardless, he'd made sure to keep his composure, something he was always trained to do throughout his life in situations similar to this. He knew very well that this, too, was unacceptable, not to mention extremely punishable. Without further delay, he would confront this employee directly, depending on whether it was safe to do so, and carrying an attitude of strong commitment as he questioned their behavior in a straightforward manner. Regardless of whether they, too, were a staff member such as himself, it gave them no right to abuse that authority however they pleased.

Subsequently, he would remind them of their status and make it understood that if they were to continue such reckless behavior, it would not only jeopardize the safety of students, but also the reputation of all the employees who've worked hard to reinforce that. Through this, Asahi would propose the offer of either reporting the issue to the school's upper management himself or with them. He knew for certain that if this had already happened, there was a chance it could happen again, and it was likely to be discovered by other employees, regardless. The least Asahi could do was allow them to provide their own side of the story, while also sharing his own, making the process easier to deal with for both sides.

Assuming that they refused to comply, Asahi would document this behavior without hesitation, explaining the situation as formally and accurately as he could, and assisting the school's higher-ups in any further investigation that was to be conducted with this individual.

When in the employee break room, how does your character act?

Upon entering the break room, Asahi would let out a soft sigh, giving himself a moment to ease himself as he stretched both arms out, allowing his limbs and joints to relax before quickly turning his attention to the others within the room. "I see you all are quite relaxed yourselves. It's been pretty hectic out there, I'll say." He said with a soft chuckle. Although he may not appear to have a sense of humor at first glance, he knows that being serious all the time can be quite exhausting already. Afterwards, he'd make himself comfortable by settling on a nearby sofa, soon collecting a nearby book and reading literature to further relax his already overstimulated mind. Despite being quite reserved and laid-back, his thoughtfulness would be met yet again by the other members, beginning a simple conversation if he felt as though it was far too quiet for his liking, or deciding to chime in with the intention of growing his relationships with the rest of the staff.

Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst in your chosen role:

Backstory
Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, Asahi Tachi'oma was the only child of two strict yet loving parents, both of whom had occupations in the education field. His father, who was a Culinary Professor, dedicated his life to teaching and assisting other aspiring chefs in his classes, whereas his mother worked as a Librarian, having a deep appreciation for reading and literature. Growing up, Asahi was accustomed to an environment that placed great emphasis on discipline, education, and his own personal development. His parents held themselves to particularly high standards and expected the same from their son, helping Asahi to approach his responsibilities with diligence, as well as great pride in what he chose to pursue in search of his own happiness. Eventually, Asahi would find himself developing an appreciation for the same interests that occupied his parents' lives. Under his father's influence, he'd become gradually fascinated with the culinary arts, spending much of his spare time familiarizing himself with different ingredients, experimenting with recipes, and gradually improving his cooking techniques. On the other hand, his mother's fondness for literature introduced him to another pastime, encouraging him to spend much of his time reading and using writing as another outlet to broaden his understanding of the world.

As years passed, this collection of hobbies, specifically making food, would evolve into something more meaningful for Asahi, as it became a significant part of his life that defined him and who he yearned to become. As he approached adulthood, he excelled in his studies at university and became a well-respected student capable of managing himself well. Although there came the struggle, with him often carrying a reserved and passive mentality, Asahi was able to develop close friendships with others who shared similar hobbies to his own. This was particularly through preparing dishes and serving them as a form of generosity and self-expression, an admirable trait which he would inherit from his father and continue to share with people around him. At some point, one of his closest friends would encourage the idea of seeking out a job opportunity that allowed him to expand his knowledge and grow his image in the culinary industry, pushing him to do so of his own accord. Eventually, on his father's recommendation, he would be offered the opportunity to work as an assistant chef at a restaurant run by an individual known as Endo Ezureya, father to Toshihiro Ezureya. During his hands-on experience at an establishment that tested Asahi's fortitude and cooking abilities, he leaned on Endo's mentorship and guidance, seeing him as a prominent figure in his life, as well as someone responsible and highly efficient in his craft. This deeply captivated Asahi, viewing him as almost another father in a sense, and helped to strengthen his resolve to provide desirable results while preparing food for customers in a setting as immensely stressful yet rewarding as this one.

Eventually, when Asahi's internship came to a close, he would part ways with Endo Ezureya, taking everything he'd learned from his experiences and returning home with a greater sense of purpose than what he already had going in. Although he knew he wasn't perfect, nor flawless in everything he did to demonstrate his talents, he persisted in keeping a good image and pushing himself to his limits, reinforcing his confidence. Later, upon completing his studies as a Culinary Arts major, he'd soon find himself settling on pursuing one such career that blended both his interest in working in an environment that prioritized education, as well as one that incorporated his already impressive cooking abilities and presentable attitude. Subsequently, he would move to Karakura High School to take up the role of a school chef. Through the support of his friends and teachers, as well as his unbreakable determination, he would strive to help enforce a social space where he could utilize his already impressive cooking abilities to feed hardworking students, as well as making himself a role model for those whom he inspired.

Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
"Ah, it's simple, really. My motivation stems purely from striving to provide delicious and well-prepared meals for students, focusing on their own areas of study, as well as pursuing an ideal career under the guidance of my father, who is a Culinary Professor in Tokyo, and my mentor, whom I worked for as an assistant chef. In addition, my mother is another significant figure in my life who deeply inspired and encouraged me to become someone who could bring others a sense of comfort and fulfillment through the food I prepare. I've searched abroad for many job opportunities, and this one in particular struck me as one that I felt would be perfect for helping to further refine my abilities, gain more experience, and deepen my understanding of what it means to be a professional in this field."

Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
"Well, I consider myself to be an exceptional asset in the kitchen, as well as more than capable of handling myself in environments that demand deep focus and strong decision-making, especially in a school setting. My willingness to deliver promising results in the culinary arts world, I feel, stands out amongst many and is something I take seriously. This is further supported by my previous experience working for a well-established, family-owned restaurant in Tokyo, alongside the considerable time and effort I have dedicated to expanding my culinary knowledge and helping my parents in their own line of work. This job, I understand very well, is in search of those who can demonstrate proper authority, adaptability, and utmost precision in their talents, alongside keeping the environment safe and healthy for everyone. I believe I possess all of those qualities and am prepared to show that through my work here."

Additional notes about your application:

Just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to read!

Do you have any questions?:

Only two, yes!

1.) This is more of a suggestion than a question; I would like the role to be transferred to my fourth character slot, occupied by [Grade 12] Asahi Tachioma, please!

2.) If, under ANY circumstance, I feel like I need to change this character later down the line if I'm no longer comfortable playing them (which is unlikely), would that be possible? Or would that mean that the [Chef] role would be revoked? Regardless, I do plan to keep this character in this role anyhow.
