What is your motivation for applying?: IRL, I'm personally studying to become a pediatric nurse so I thought it would be fun to be a doctor in roleplay, seeing as its something I'm passionate about. I deeply enjoy the thrill of helping save lives as well as keeping others healthy, a lot of violence happens in the server and there is always people who are injured, so there is always someone who needs help, and I would enjoy being that help.
What do you know about medical practice?: As a medical professional no matter your thoughts or views on a person your duty is to help them, regardless of age, gender or race. There are two different types of medical practices, you have your singular specialties where you have several doctors doing the same type of work. And then you have Multi-specialties, where doctors work as a cluster made up of primary doctors and sometimes surgeons or internal medicine doctors.

CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
How is your character during and off the job?
Katalina is calm at all times, her face is always calmly rested so even at times she we're to be panicking there wouldn't be a trace of it on her face. She is very collected and kind on and off duty, after work depending on the day she gets dinner and heads home.
What do they look like? Katalina is a 5'7 Dark haired Italian woman. Her accent would be there, yet she would be very easy to understand with a sweet calming voice. She has a beauty mark on the left side of her chin and, look fairly younger than she is. She has a physically fit healthy athletic build and always stand up straight. She has a wedding band set on her left hand with a date engraved on it as well as a locket necklace.
Do they have any mental or physical illnesses? She does suffer from PTSD educing nightmares due to her biological father being abusive and being in an abusive foster care home. But since being adopted by her two fathers, her PTSD has calmed down and she rarely has nightmares.
What makes your character unique? Katalina has a deep love for helping others. growing up she had seen a lot of suffering due to people not being able to afford medical care as well as her mother dying due to complications with childbirth. It saddened her growing up, so she planned on becoming a doctor so that when someone was in need she could be there to help them and care for them. Due to her past, she feels that there is always someone who needs to be saved, she wanted to be saved from all the abuse and though it isn't the same, saving a life in a dire situation is all the same to her. With this as her motivation she worked and studied hard to become well trained and knowledgeable in the internal medicines field to help with a few curable diseases. She also studying to become an emergency physician, so she was the first hands on when the paramedics arrived.
During the Autumn of 1992 at the Concordia Hospital in Rome,
Katalina was born as 'Katalina Gardenia DeLuca', Her mother died shortly after giving birth to her. Katalina's father for the next 8 years of her life was in and out of an alcoholic grieving process, causing him to go into violent fits. She stayed with her grandparents until they tragically passed away in a car accident. Her father being too drunk to care for her had her taken away, and put into a foster home.
Many of the children were abused physically including her, she was always put down saying shes was going to end up like her father, or the crueler would tell her like her mother, meaning dead. She did her best to stay positive going to school and trying hard, the poverty of the foster home area was bad. Many people were sick or on death beds monthly the medical cost, was too high for many to pay unless they had more than one job, but jobs were scarce without a good education, this would be the second thing to motivate her.
When she turned 12 she was adopted by two older men, a lovely gay couple who wanted a child of their own, they had seen her reading to the smaller children and playing doctor with their stuffed animals, she greeted them politely when she seen them staring and they all knew in an instant, it was love. She was adopted a week later and moved to Rome to live with them, one of her new fathers was a cop and the other a lawyer, she told them about her dreams every night as she grew up, and they helped her study even at such a young age. They both had seen the passion in her eyes to make the world a better place, so as each grade passed she would look into more and more medical school. At the end of her graduation when she was 18 she was offered a scholarship to a private medical school.
For the next 7 years she worked hard to become a doctor to fulfill her dreams of helping others in need and to prove everyone whoever doubted her or put her down wrong. She took one of her free summers to travel around Europe and She met The love of her life while on the trip. they got to know each other for about a year before deciding to get married, she would start going by his last name 'Blake'.
