General Appearance
Appearance: Seems to have a lazy and annoyed expression all the time. Their hair looks naturally curly sometimes but they just don’t brush their hair. There was no light to be found in their eyes since they've moved to Tokyo, only their girlfriend (Del Marsh) has seen any joy in those dark eyes, however since the break-up Mari's stare seems to be colder than before.
Personality: A very troublesome delinquent. Often gets angry over the smallest things and starts arguments a lot. Never backs down on anything, unless it’s school.

A very raspy but understandable tone. Has a deep but feminine voice. Surprisingly no hint of French accent.
Equipment:
Usually stores everything in their pants pockets, they don't like carrying around a backpack. In those pockets there will be their flip phone, chapstick, a wireless earphone case, “a pen”, an actual pen, and their debit card that they say they left at home just so they can try to get things for free.
Clothes: Always dressed in anything with sleeves or flannels with baggy pants, unless they are in school or at the pool, they have clothes for those two places.
Hobbies: Music, Reading, Gaming and People-Watching

Backstory:
Mari Jane was born in Toronto, Canada, with only their mother, Laura Jane, in the picture. Growing up wasn’t too great for Mari. They was constantly shamed and yelled at for the smallest mistakes she made. Their mother was a drug addict. The father tragically died in a house fire. After the incident, Laura was never the same, she neglected her child and hates looking at them because they look a lot like their father. At the age of 6, Mari had to go under surgery due to their mother stepping on her ankle and creating a small fracture on the bone. When she finally had enough with her, she sent Mari off to Japan to live with her Aunt, Denna Rutherford (her Dad’s Sister). Mari, growing up with a cold and hateful mother, she learned that she can never rely on anyone, she learned to take care of herself. She ran away from her aunts because she hates the feeling of the guilt she holds for living in her aunt's house. She met her girlfriend, Del Marsh, at school. Del ran into Mari, Mari usually yells at anyone that crosses her but she felt a connection to Del. However after a long-term relationship, they've decided to end it due to reasons that'll only be said by them.
