In-Character Section

What's your character's full name?: Miloš Mitrović
What is your character's nationality?: Bosnian
What is your preferred subject to teach?: Design Technology (Graphics)

Describe your character:
Miloš is a 26 year old Bosnian man standing at 6'2" and is a rather lanky figure with fluffy but short chocolate brown hair and soft brown eyes with a slight sleepy but soft droop to them, he has a rather round face in shape and looks very soft overall with his tan skin tone. He would wear a collard polo or regular button up shirt with a jumper over it in winters, often custom made with graphics he's designed because 'they just look nice!'. Along with that, he tends to enjoy wearing a pair of elastic jeans in soft colours as regular jeans cause him sensory issues.

He has a Bosnian accent causing a few words like 'little' to accidentally be pronounced as 'lirrl' which a lot of students think is just a stutter from him, but it's not. He can usually be seen in similar wear outside of school hours, but in holidays and festivals he can usually be seen in traditional Bosnian clothes.

He does not have many plans for the future in the current moment, he's always liked to take things one step at a time but he wants to be able to find someone to spend his life with, as he knows hes not going to be young forever.

What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
"I love my students, and co-workers, sure some students are rowdy and aren't interested in what I have to teach them, but it's fine!" Miloš says, sweating a little. "I get it, some students are not interested, as long as they behave it's fine, honest! DT: Graphics just, isn't their thing, my co-workers are very kind and helpful as well, some come in while I don't have a class scheduled and we have a nice little chat" He would pull on his collar a bit, "You can take that they're great from all of that, yea?".

What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
He would sigh, putting down his pen. "I want to be able to see my students thrive, and come up with great ideas for graphics, and find a class exciting to be a part of, a lot of times students find things like graphics boring if they're not interested in any mediums that teachers offer, which also comes with a lack of the courses available for things like design, it's always usually the same thing when it comes to Design Technology." He would look down, "I want to see young minds flourish through creativity, and, to be able to find a medium they like and find interesting. Maybe they like web design, or making UI's for software or games which is 2d, or maybe they're interested in making cards or Book covers!

Roleplay Scenarios

A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
"Hm? Oh you're struggling on coming up with ideas?" He would look at the student "I can give you some suggestions and we can work from there? That good?" He would motion them to the front, "So, first off, I want you to have a think, what would this be for? A web design, a UI for a software or game?" He would continue to give ideas, "A poster maybe, or even an icon for a software? Those are some ideas but it can be for anything that would need graphics on them! If not that, how about a flyer? You can base a flyer off of anything! Maybe a flyer to join a group you're in here at Kakura." He would continue after the student came up with an idea or said something they came up with to him. "Yea! That's a great idea! Now that we know the medium we'll be working in, why don't we move onto some colours! Any favourites?" He would wait until they answer.

"Hm... that colour would go well with (colour), (colour) or (colour) if we follow a Contrasting, Triadic or Monogamous colour palette! I wouldn't recommend (colour) though, it doesn't go... that well with it." He would continue with idea after idea, focused on the content (which would be focused on graphics in technology in this scenario) until the student is filled with ideas.

A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
He would sigh, turning to look at the student, "I told you, please be quiet while explaining what we will be doing today, you'll have time to chat when working on your project for the class," He would try to continue teaching, until the student would shout out again, "I don't like to have my students in trouble often, but... Speak up again, (student) and you'll be receiving a detention, continue after that and I won't hesitate to kick you out of my class for the day, understood?" He would sigh, continuing to teach afterwards, keeping his promise for if the student shouts out again and interrupts him. As the student would interrupt again, "(Student), detention after school," and he would continue whenever any student starts misbehaving, a simple warning to stop doing so, and the a detention, and if continued the student would be kicked from the class for the day.

Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
Idea 1: A class going over the some parts of the design process with students encouraged to come up with an idea that could be used on something like a card or any other type of product able to be made

Idea 2: Go fully into the research and planning of it with students, as a little class project. Get a vote from all students on what the product and graphics should be in said project (This would be spaced out between the 3 lessons, one being for planning and working on what the class wants to make through planning, the second lesson being about jotting down any ideas had about it, and the third class being about actually making the project).

Idea 3: Going over colour schemes, product types, using examples, like a notebook, or a card with the class, explain why colours that clash wont look good in a design

Idea 4: Students compete against other students sat at different tables on who can come up with the best idea for a project, the table that wins will all get an A.
