Tuners have been a big part of not only Karakura and Japan, but the entire world. Hailing from the 1920s America, the Tuners are all about one thing. Making the best out of their machines. And nowadays they do exactly that, as Aftermarket support grows, People are turning their already fantastic cars into Speed Demons, and of course this causes the birth of many of Notorious Racing Crews in 80s Japan, and as well as in Karakura. Nowadays the Tuners scene clashes with KPD as they are mostly filled with the most Adrenaline Junkies and straight up diehard Street Racers.
It doesn't matter what car it is, If it's got enough aftermarket support as well as potential of being great, these guys will tune it.
They also clash with other scenes, but most of the time, their biggest nemesis are the Exotics Scene, they clash back and forth trying to prove whether or not Built is better than Bought.
They mostly uses JDM Cars, as they are the most modular cars out there. And able to withstand tons of Modification to the engine without breaking.
Toyota A80 Mk4 is an example of Modularity. Being able to withstand lots of power on It's default engine due to being over-engineered by Toyota.
Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R is another example, one of the generation of the long-lasting Skyline line-up. Made famous by the models before it, as well as Pop culture.
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is the last example. Hailing from the land of Rally, this car dominated Rally in It's heyday.
This scene also gave birth to the most amount of Legendary Racers in Karakura, even the best Exotics Racers of Karakura originated from the Tuner scene. And as you.. a potential new racer in town. Are you equipped and prepared to give their spot as legends a shot?
