Why do you want to own a shop?:
An important aspect to entrepreneurial motivation is the product itself. There are individuals whose internal motivation for entrepreneurial success is driven by the product they create, manufacture, and sell. An example of this may be the MacNoodles or MacTacos. The real satisfaction comes from hard work, ingenuity, and the appreciation received from the customer for the product they created. While making a profit may be assumed as the great motivating factor to starting a business, there may be other driving factors that are more important to the business owner. When you work for an organized business, you are normally working for a boss, within a rigid time-schedule. As a self-employed business owner, you are able to dictate the use of your time. Another benefit of independence is that you are fully in control of the business image. Self-employment means there is no boss telling you to do something that you don't believe is beneficial to either the company or yourself. You are responsible for the outcome of the future of your shop because you run the shop. You select the beneficial standards that set your company to stand out. When you run your own company, you are in control of the direction that the company goes, and you are in control of your own business/shop's future.

What do you plan to do with the shop?:

McFromage's vision is to dominate the world-wide foodservice industry. Universal dominance means setting the performance standard for customer satisfaction and increasing market share and profitability through successful fulfilling McFromage's convenience, this meaning experiments throughout their course of running as a business, such as adding new innovations to their menu. This results in a shop sense of value and shows different execution strategies that can help it become successful as it thrives. A precise way of considering McFromage's role of operations is through value chain ****ysis. The standing point McFromage is in breaks down the firm into its strategically relevant activities, in order to understand the behavior of costs and the existing or potential sources of differentiation. A firm gains competitive advantage by performing these strategically important activities more cheaply or better than its rivals.

How will your shop be unique?:

McFromage's menu can be considered the chamber's classics but have no shyness towards adding new innovational impacts to their food community that loves eating there. Some examples are:
  • MacTacos
  • MacNoodles
  • McHotDogs
  • Apple Sticks
  • MacPizzas
These menu innovations (along with items that may be developed later on in the timeline of the food chamber) have been named classics of the food chamber and have allowed for the McFromage to hold product offerings for all meal times, and the snack periods that fall in between, allowing for greater profitability that shapes what the McFromage is. However, McFromage takes great care not to effect the consumer experience when a new item is introduced.

From an outside perspective, it appears that at least part of their strategy entails acknowledging the concern or issue, and then dedicating resources in-house to staying on top of the issue as it is what they stand for when being a role model to their food loving community. McFromage stands for their perspectives and always addresses any issues to their best abilities.

Part of the reason the McFromage can be resilient when they are challenged is an established rapport within the community, meaning they have a strong connection and communication with the community they serve. When controversies arise, having goodwill with consumers can help any company weather the storm. Ways McFromage cultivates goodwill with consumers include their involvement in community based programs that engage people within events set by the McFromage. They set up great standing points toward their community and try their best to engage with their customers.

How many employees are you planning to have?:

I plan on having 6-12 employees including myself.
Janitors will get paid for 12k a week.
Guards will get paid 16k a week.
Managers will get paid 23k a week.

(I plan on making new titles for workers, these are just the basic fundamentals I wish to incorporate to the business.)

I added some of my own questions:

What knowledge about Shop Owners do you have when in work and out of work, what purpose to they serve, etc. Include a paragraph about the way shop owners manage their shop.

There are many ways that Shop Owners, in this case restaurant owners must manage their business. Running any restaurant is not easy. Managing a restaurant is a serious undertaking that requires commitment, diligence, tact and understanding. You can make the job easier by developing and implementing a series of considered and thorough plans, policies and procedures. As an owner of the establishment, it's always better to work consensually with your staff, so keep clear communication and make sure everybody buys into the restaurant and has a stake in its success to reach high altitudes in economic and service standards. An essential part of successfully managing your restaurant is managing your staff and facilitating their personal and professional development. Having well-trained and committed staff who see the possibility to progress in the business and develop their skills with only help you and your restaurant. Make sure there are regular training sessions and encourage your employees to seek out external training opportunities, by doing so, this allows for a well rounded atmosphere with hard workers and good service. Having a healthy mutual respect and trust is key to managing a restaurant that can run smoothly without you monitoring every little thing. If you invest some trust in your staff, they will usually rise to the challenge and feel more invested in the business as you commit to it as well. To get the best out of your employees it's important to keep them motivated and engaged. There are a number ways to go about this, but the first is to get them involved in the business beyond just doing their jobs. For example, ask them to contribute to team meetings and brainstorm ideas about where the restaurant could improve. As times move on and the business of the McFromage grows to be something great, your employees will build trust in you and you can have a good working atmosphere with communication. Being aware of the personal circumstances of your staff and sympathetic to their needs can go a a long way towards building up mutual respect and a happy, committed workforce. For example, your staff may have childcare issues or varying college timetables to deal with alongside their work commitments. Keep this in mind and be flexible when possible. An essential element of maintaining a productive restaurant is making sure you have a well-stocked and maintained inventory. Because food is only good for so long, your inventory needs to be checked and monitored very frequently with regular adjustments made. The first step to successful inventory management is keeping all your stock organized and clearly arranged so you can get a basic picture at a glance. Owners of such business serve as a huge purpose to the whole business as they are the ones in charge. They control the workforce and make sure everything is stable and running. You have to set policies and things that will be the foundation for the McFromage.

Why are Shop Owners so important to the SchoolRP server:

Shop Owners make up a very small portion of the SchoolRP community but many of them are the reason we have interactive fields of shopping around the city. Having this sense of roleplay makes SchoolRP what it is and allows there to be real roleplaying experiences that contribute to what the server runs and strives for.

How should a Shop Owner treat his or her employees?

Taking time to listen to your employees regarding their concerns and needs for performing their jobs. Discuss various issues with each employee individually, such as conflicts they may have with you or other employees. Rectify conflicts right away by coming up with viable solutions. Use a mediator or arbitrator, if necessary, to handle conflicts out of your control. By listening to them and using communication with employees can make a great workforce. Let employees know that you care about them. However, make them realize everyone has a job to do, and that they are accountable to their boss. Hence, times may get tough and tempers short. But you are all working together for the betterment of the company. By setting standards such as striving for the greater good of the business and services of the shop, the workforce's ideal concept of work will change as they will strive for one important thing as a hard working community.

What does your business sell?

The McFromage sells a wide amount of different products at its store. They sell McHotDogs for 150 yen, with ketchup, 200 yen, MacNoodles for 300 yen, Apple Sticks for 275 yen, Onions for 75 yen, MacTacos for 500 yen, MacPizzas for 700 yen, with pepperonis, 800 yen, Ice Cream for 450 yen, Blue Lollies for 350 yen, Ice Cream Sandwiches for 500 yen, Iced Coffees for 150 yen, Milkshakes for 200 yen, and finally Hot Cocoa for 350 yen.
