As of recent months i spend some time every single day on SRP, between 2-6 hours daily.
During that time i walk around town, admiring the work the builders have put in over the years. Talk with friends both in character and out of character. Interact with the many stories that are present within SRP, allowing myself to get immersed in roleplaying. and from time to time i help out with server events when i can, for example the fall festival back around late october, early november.

What is your motivation for applying?
Personally i have wanted to apply to an faction for several months now, but i had difficulty deciding which faction. So over the last few months i have been interacting with each faction the best i could to see what each one is like. personally i prefer the Shrine faction most because even tho it has the lowest monthly income, it seems the most comfortable and relaxed faction, for example at all the other factions the buildings look very formal and people usually don't come in just for a simple chat, while at the monastery you could go up to a staff member and talk for hours if you wish to do so.
All in all, my motivation for applying stems from the want to expand the roleplay's i can do, wanting to contribute to the calm and comfortable atmosphere of the monastery while treating guests like i have been treated for a long time now.
What do you currently know about Shintoism? Are you willing to learn more about it?
Due to a lack of resources where i live, I have been unable to learn much of anything about Shintoism. What i do know is things i learned from SRP itself, for example i know that it is a sign of respect to the Kami if you walk on the side of a path and bow to torii gates before passing through.
I know that Omamori's are a form of a protective charm, similair to Ofuda's but less specific purpose.
I know how Omikuji's work aswell, a luck of the draw which one you get, a simple prediction of your future, which if you get one you do not wish to come true you would tie it up to dispell it.
Personally i wish to learn more about Shintoism, to me it is a very interesting religion. I hope to learn plenty about Shintoism if i were to be accepted for a shrine staff position, alongside the responcibilities that shrine staff have.

Backstory
Robin originally lived in the mainland. living until the age of 24 with his family, studying law and practicing Kendo.
He was mostly living in obscurity, he was the kind to be sitting in the corner while being nose deep in a book. Often times he would volunteer to help with things like charity events or even just holiday based events! (like Christmass markets for example).
But he could not enjoy the life in the big cities, he was a person that had need for peace and quiet. so he decided to move into Karakura with his other side of the family. Luckely they accepted him with open arms, he took his time adjusting, and now enjoys spending time at the monastery chatting with the Maidens, especially Miss Charlotte who is his cousin when he isnt wandering around town.
CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE / SITUATIONS
How does your character act around shrine grounds? How do they interact with guests and other staff?
On shrine grounds he shows utmost respect to everyone present. He make's sure to walk on the edge of the path and bow before torii gates in order to respect the kami and spirits present. When talking with guests he usually just talks smalltalk, like asking how their day is or giving a compliment on their outfits. When talking to staff he does the same as with guests but oftentime's also asks to help with simple tasks like sweeping the floor in the teahouse and such.
You see a guest jumping around the roofs of the building and overall disrespecting shrine grounds, how would your character handle it?
First, he would try to politely ask the guest to stop disrespecting the shrine grounds and to get off the roof. In case that doesn't work he would next go to the nearest none occupied shrine staff and inform them, from there he would let shrine staff handle the situation and only interfere if asked to.
Why does your character want to become a shrine maiden/priest?
He wishes to become a shrine priest primarily because of having observed his cousin miss Charlotte, being inspired by her peacefull life as a shrine maiden. he wishes to contribute more to the monastery as a form of repaying the staff for their welcoming nature even to him who came from the mainland. He also wishes to learn more about Shintoism as he was raised in a city where the belief was not truly supported.
