Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
It might come as a surprise but Teachers are important for SchoolRP because... (Drum roll!) It is a SCHOOL BASED ROLEPLAY! . . . Alright, all jokes and obviousness aside, Teachers are important because they are role-models for the large majority of the player base. They can also gather so many for a fun interaction such as an interactive and engaging class! This can start roleplays and have people gain an interest and desire to actually immerse themselves into the RP and the server.
So, in conclusion; Teachers are guides, role-models, and inspirations for those around them. They can arouse interactions and/or interests for those around them.

In-Character Section
What's your character's full name?: Hiromichi Wachi
What is your character's nationality?: Japanese, born in Tokyo.
What is your preferred subject to teach?: English
Describe your character:
- Hiromichi Wachi is a tall, middle-aged Japanese man, around 6'3", with a presence that quietly demands attention. His long, grey hair, streaked with white, is pulled back into a low, loose ponytail that falls down his back. There’s a natural dignity to his face, with fine lines that tell stories of experience and character. He has a lean, fit build, like someone who’s taken care of himself, and his posture is relaxed yet confident. His eyes are sharp, observant, with a depth that suggests he’s seen a lot. He has the look of someone both approachable and deeply wise.
- Hiromichi Wachi's wisdom comes through in the way he speaks. Always calm and thoughtful, never rushing his words. He has a knack for making complex ideas easy to understand. He always listens to others closely, nudging them to think for themselves. His intelligence is quick, always connecting ideas with ease. He has a natural patience and kindness that encourages others. Yet, he’s also firm; holding high standards for himself and others- not afraid to set boundaries. He expects respect and honest effort, balancing kindness with a quiet strength.
- Hiromichi Wachi has an old habit that he could never truly be rid of, his habit of reflecting on old English phrases his American teacher taught him, often quoting these in conversation, sometimes to humorous effect. He might slip a classic idiom or outdated phrase into his advice, blending the language of his youth in Tokyo with a slightly formal, vintage English style. This quirk not only adds a nostalgic charm but also shows his deep appreciation for the process of learning and teaching. It makes people smile and often gives them pause, offering a glimpse into his history and unique way of seeing the world.
- Hiromichi Wachi mainly worked as a ghostwriter and counselor for other writers in Tokyo. He lives fully in the present, not bound by any grand plan for the future. His only aim is to keep teaching, guiding, and writing. Helping others find their voices and refine their words. He doesn’t chase fame or legacy; instead, he focuses on the craft itself and on supporting those around him.
What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
- In contrast to what you might believe, he sees students and co-workers as individuals on their own journeys, each with unique potential. Rather than imposing his ideas, he acts as a guide, gently nudging them toward their strengths while respecting their individuality. He believes that everyone, regardless of skill level, has something valuable to offer, so he listens with genuine interest and encourages open expression of any and every kind. His outlook is rooted in mutual respect and a belief that growth happens best when people are supported, not pushed.
What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
- Having been a ghostwriter as well as a counselor, Hiromichi Wachi finds quiet contentment in his belief; a meaningful life is built on dedication rather than accolades. Sharing knowledge gives him purpose, and he finds joy in the rhythm of language. Guiding others brings fulfillment, he feels complete knowing that he has positively influenced someone's journey. He finds treasure in the steady practice of teaching, learning, and writing. For him, the process, the journey, is what truly matters.
Roleplay Scenarios
A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
If he notices a student struggling to understand the content, he would approach the situation with patience and empathy. He would first give the student a moment to gather their thoughts, allowing them to express their difficulties without pressure. After listening carefully, he might ask guiding questions to pinpoint where the confusion lies, encouraging the student to articulate their thoughts. Thus allowing them to truly grow, not only by learning the content, but by also learning that the answer lies within, that with the right questions, mental state, and peace, one can find the answers they frantically look for easily.
A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
He might pause the class briefly to address the disruptions directly but in a way that doesn’t humiliate the student. He’d remind everyone of the importance of respect and focus, using a gentle tone to encourage a more positive atmosphere. Perhaps even including a quote from his early years, utilizing his habit to try and ease any tension that might have risen from his reigning in of the class.
Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
1 - Storytelling Workshop: In this workshop, he could guide students through the art of storytelling. He would start by discussing the elements of a good story—such as character development, setting, and conflict—using examples from literature and personal anecdotes. Students could then engage in exercises where they create short stories based on prompts he provides. Afterward, they could share their stories in small groups, receiving constructive feedback. This collaborative environment would encourage creativity and confidence, allowing him to support students in finding and refining their unique voices.
2 - Writing for Reflection: He could conduct a class focused on reflective writing, where students explore their thoughts and feelings through journaling or essay writing. He would emphasize the importance of self-expression and how writing can serve as a tool for personal growth. The class could include guided writing prompts that encourage introspection and exploration of experiences. After the writing session, he would facilitate a sharing circle, allowing students to voluntarily share their reflections, fostering a supportive community. This approach would not only improve their writing skills but also enhance their emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
These two ideas stem from his desire to inspire growth through the students' potential and their ability to think for themselves. He believes in their potential and always strives to allow and facilitate their growth. It also goes back to his profession of a ghostwriter and counselor.
