My grade glitched higher ;-;

So i haven't played in like agesss..so i'm pretty sure last time i played i immediately left and never played agian..so i was at grade 7 but some howww i log in..and mind you this this was abt a week ago. So i log in that week and i'm grade 11 age 17..So now i'm mega confused..is that how it works or something i would just like to know..how in the world of candy i aged up without even playing..
