My mask disappeared

I had a heart lollipop equipped as a hat, I forgot it was equipped and right clicked while holding the mask and it caused the mask to disappear. if you need more proof- I'm sure I am on file at the police station when I accidentally wore it in there the other day when going in to make a claim.
