So, I’m back once more with another monthly report, by yours truly, Roseanne van Dalen. Just coming back as a Senior Journalist, now in our city, we have several people who are working hard to guarantee our safety. In this interview, I’m with a high-positioned man from Karakura Hospital, the one and only, Mister Luciel Saiky.

Here’s how it goes.

A RECORDING WOULD PLAY ♬

She would already have the recording device out, as she firmly placed it on the glass table, in between them. Swiftly pressing: “RECORD”
"Before we start discussing things, I'd like for us to exchange introductions first. I've been learning Japanese recently, so I apologize if I butcher some words... My name is Roseanne van Dalen, I was newly appointed to the Journalist a few weeks ago, and now I'm a senior journalist. It is a very honorable moment for me to have met you, Mister Saiky."
"Mm.. no need for any concerns. I suppose it's necessary to introduce myself... I am Saiky Luciel, also referred to as 'Mister Saiky', a higher-up surgeon in this hospital. It is a pleasure to be here, to be interviewed, to see youth curious about medical duties. Please try to find comfort in my office for this short while."
"Of course, So, I have no idea what kind of questions I'll be asking, so let's go with the flow. First, what is your position in the hospital? What do you do?"
"I am currently the Clinical Manager of this hospital — my duty is to manage the departments and assist the Head-Physician as the second in charge. Originally, I was transferred here as a normal surgeon."

"Second question, how did you climb from trainee to where you are now? Was it difficult for you? I heard you go through extreme training in order to become a full member of the Hospital, well, as you are what people rely on."
"Certainly, every hospital staff is to go through difficult training, as Karakura's lives are in our hands. They are trained until they're seen fitting in order to be promoted to a trusted position... It was anything but facile to get to my position, as my position requires great passion and determination. Suppose it was the most challenging, as the surgeon department is currently the most demanding department which requires more dexterity and knowledge compared to other departments. However, all departments are unique. However, it was nothing I wasn't capable of, it's only fitting."
"Mmm let's see... Third question, can you ensure the safety of our fellow Citizens? I believe Karakura's death rates decreased in a questionable amount of time... Scary. So, can you?"
"Precisely. Our training program ensures that our staff is able to save citizens, however, it depends on the patient's status, as well as how severe their case is. I am confident with the aid and assists we give to all Karakura citizens. We save most cases brought to us, though it should be noted that we cannot save all lives. There is no guarantee that we will save everyone, we, as hospital staff, do our very best in giving the best treatment and care."
"I'm really honored to be in your safe hands, Mr. Saiky. Not to be too personal, but do you have to act differently off the job? Noticing your wedding ring, You have a wife? even kids? Do you act professionally on and off?"
“Hm. I have a strong belief that work life and personal life must be separated. No matter how professional your personal life is, you will not be at your best if you combine together and fail to separate them from one another. That being said, my approach to citizens off duty is the same, yet that depends on who I am conversing with. I don't see any changes in my behavior off duty. "This ring is not my wedding ring, though I will have one soon, matching with my beloved partner in love. Her name is Akane Blackwood, and I plan on marrying her very soon. This ring is a gift from my father, Eikichi Saiky. He gifted me this ring after I earned a surgical award in London, where I lived most of my life. I am a father myself, a father of five."
"I see, Congratulations! So, for the final part of this interview as I do not want to take up too much of your time as you are saving lives out there. What would you like the citizens of Karakura to do? In order to decrease the weight on your shoulders? Carrying that many lives must be difficult right?"
“I ask them to behave appropriately to protect themselves from extreme cold. They should refrain from wandering around and dangerous situations or locations, as it could get dangerous in the streets of Karakura. Take medicine with the suggested amount, and refer to any psychiatrist if they're feeling troubled concerning their mental health. If they have any concerns regarding their overall health, they are welcomed to get any type of check-up and treatment."
"Thank you so much for letting me in on your time, It was truly an honor to have interviewed you, Mr. Saiky. I am also very thankful for your hard work."
“The pleasure's all mine."

She would reach for the recording device, you would hear a slight static “Thank you” as you heard her pressing: “END RECORDING”

A RECORDING WOULD END.

So there you have it, an interview within the Hospital’s perimeters. If you are ill, whether it be mentally or physically, I highly recommend seeing a doctor or call 110 if you have any issues, do not be afraid to seak for medical assistance, take care of yourselves!

As everyone knows by now, this is Roseanne van Dalen, and once more, an apple a day keeps the doctors away. See you another time. Stay tuned.
