A few days ago, the school's anti-bullying club hosted its own event at which students could write letters to their friends, purchase cute little gifts for them or even go on a fun scavenger hunt!
So what is the Anti-Bullying Club, you may ask? The ABC collects various reports from students and encourages them to inform either a teacher or a Councillor about a particular problem, and if it gets worse. The club will take matters into its own hands bringing them to higher positions if the situation is deemed TOO severe.
Throughout their club event, they had several booths open, from a letter stand to a small gift shop where students could buy gifts- this money was donated to charity. At the end students could go on a small scavenger hunt that took place around the school.
The letter booth was there for the students to write a letter, whether to friends who were going through a difficult time or to voice their feelings at that time. They were given the choice of keeping the letter as a keepsake or handing it over if it was to go to a designated person.
Their second booth was a small gift shop where you could buy stuffed animals at a rather affordable price. As a gift or just as a little something for yourself. By the end of the event, all the money that the club had gathered was given to a nearby charity.
Finally, there was a scavenger hunt, during which the students received hints and had a look around the school. They based their location on hints and worked their way to the end.
